Wow I really enjoyed this! Great 'losing' effect too. Good choice of music and I liked the visual style. I had a bit of trouble figuring out when and where I could clear lines, but eventually I was really left thinking. Great work!

The music really fits with the chill puzzle style so it was very immersive. I played for a long time for this reason. The new symbols that started to come down were a bit confusing at first but then made sense.
The main thing I'd say to improve is to fit the theme more. Maybe have there be some $ meter and you spend money to drop one block at a time and you die if it runs out.

The idea of the controls is so good and really innovative. I see great potential.
It is an interesting operation.I enjoy playing for 30 min+, and I scored 1152 points! D

The game captures the players attention pretty well. Interesting concept, too.
It would be great on mobile, really fresh idea ;)
Great game, really interesting idea, but it doesn't really seem to fit the theme at all...
Really fascinating ideas here, and felt very innovative. Music was great, would love to see this built out more post jam!
I made it to 1010 points. Very fun when the combos start racking up!
The X's messed up my plans a few times, I think it could be more strategic if you knew a turn in advance where they would show up. Or perhaps a reward for cutting more blocks at once.

Overall: Novel gameplay with an interesting strategic aspect.
Fun: Cool! I had two goes and got a much higher score on my second go - I think there is definitely some strategic aspects to getting a goood score. I only got irritated when an "X" showed up that foiled my plan. But I can see how they are needed to make the game challenging.
Innovation: At first this game seems similar to existing falling block games (Doctor Mario, I think?) but the "cut" mechanic makes the gameplay unique.
Theme: Not seeing the theme shine through, but that doesn't matter.
Graphics: Nothing special but they serve their purpose and frankly are better than most programmer art.
Audio: The music loop is good, but a bit short for a long-play game like this.
Humor: N/A
Mood: Cool mood brought together by the music + the quaking blocks when you're losing.
Interesting puzzle. It could be more juicy I think but it's a interesting idea.

Wow! I think this game have a lot of potential, is a unique take on the block falling game. The current version is a bit too plain but here are some ideas or comments about the game: - It would be nice to know one turn (or more) ahead where a X is going to be placed. Maybe for consistence X could also come from the falling blocks you are cutting, or at least fall instead of being placed in a specific tile. - There is a lot to do with combos and how many pieces have you cut. For example, now it is possible to cut the pieces one by one, having lot of control, that should be penalized (for example adding an X to your queue). Something like cutting 3 pieces and creating different groups with the cut pieces can multiply your score. - Making the queue unable to pass through a column of pieces can make a lot of interesting gameplay appear. Something like you have 6 objects in the queue, which won't grow again to 6 unless there are only two remaining objects or I manually decide to grow the queue. I don't know if I'm expressing correctly.
Again, I genuinly like the idea and think you could develop this a little bit further! I would be happy to hear if you are doing it, let me know if you do so!
Good work!

An interesting and fun puzzle games. The graphics could have been better, but it simple and okay. The music is good, and fits the game idea well. Overall a pretty good LD game. Well done.

Nice game! I had a good time with it.
Well done, I had a lot of fun with this. You obviously take a lot of inspiration from existing falling block games, but the twist is just unique enough to feel fresh. I found myself cutting the first block from the bottom most of the time, but I definitely figured out some cool strategies that only worked if I cut larger chunks to set up combos.
The music really helps make the experience too, as does the nice shake effect when the level gets really full.
Cool type of puzzle game, esp the crosses that appear during the gameplay. Graphics fit good

Interesting puzzle game. I can't tell how many Xs are going to appear each turn though. I'm assuming its some turn count so I don't always cut 1 block at a time. Nice audio.
A nice take on an old genre
This was a very interesting take on the block-falling genre, usually I'm not a fan of this genre but this game was surprisingly engaging. I really liked how the game wasn't real-time, it made the game less of a reflex game and more about calculation
