Really creative and well executed!
This was a really unique spin on something I never even thought a game could be made out of! It was fun using the context clues to assemble the messages. The only critique I would have would be the redactions not being removed after everything was assembled. I guess I kind of expected that to happen so there would be a sort of resolution to the puzzle in that way? Regardless, a fantastic, chill, and good vibe puzzler jam game c: well done!
Very unique idea and fun to play, I do wish there was some kind of punishment for messing up
Wait I actually LOVE this one. The writing was so much fun, the way the puzzles naturally came together after piecing together the easier-to-sort messages, then figuring out from context where the others go, made each level a really unique and interesting puzzle. I've never seen a game like this, and it's such a cool and polished final product. I'm super super impressed, amazing work here!
It feels like there should be more games with riddles like this. It feels like a theme interpretation that makes me think "Why didn't I think of that?"
It seems there has to be a reward for getting things right the first time, but then there would need to be some sort of hint system to balance it out, or limited cues that only say how many you got wrong, not which ones. As is, this is fine for the compo. If you wanted to make it a full release, there would have to be more feedback, more limited feedback, more gradual feedback. Maybe some censor bars go away and you lose points. Maybe the censor bars go away in the ones you got *right*.
This was super fun and very clever. Like a comment said above - I wish I could have seen the unredacted messages after finishing the puzzle.
The concept is fun, and I like how humorous the writing for it is. I think more could be done to establish the mood and setting though, but still impressive given the time constraints. The pixel art on the title screen looks awesome, it would be so cool if the rest of the interface had a similar vibe.
Very nice! Fun little stories :)
