Oh, a very interesting interpretation of the theme! Also the cozy, sleepy mood is captured greatly, very smooth gameplay. Great work! I would probably like to add a running option though, the movement speed is very slow.

Very nice mood and snarky dialogs :D all it lacks is a banger soundtrack with main character music
and maybe an option to make the dialogs write faster for us caffeine driven people
I like the pixel art graphics. It would be nicer with some background music or sound effects. Movement is a bit too slow, specially for the maze part :sweat_smile: Still good job!
I just couldn't get the soundtrack to work in Jam's last hour 😢

Hm... I dont know what to say, honestly ^_^ Good little game, maybe i should meditate after this ^_^
Wow, this feels weird, but i found myself really enjoying exploring this little world. Truly feels like a dream of some kind, im really into this surreal experience so this game earns its place in my heart for this jam
Truly a DEEP game with DEEP thoughts, cool style too. Even while being short it was kind of enjoyable either way
Dood game, I like it, minimalistic, I really like the mood
I love the idea that "depths" refers to dreams. Wish I'd thought of that myself =)
It's time to reply to everyone!
@joscco, thank you! I was just thinking about pacing in that very last hour of development, like most of the good stuff people suggest here
@aeoncl, there is a C key for full dialog printing, also I really wanted to make a soundtrack, there was some workaround but it just didn't work because of the Rust borrow checker.
@betovf, thanks! You're right, I'll try to get a better handle on OSTs and contols next time. :D
@xpoho, glad to hear it made an impression on you.
@hirqshi, I tried my best to make it feel like a dream. :D
@aashen, yeah, it was fun to write dialogs EXACTLY like that.
@d-indie, I was planning on more content, but this is my first time playing Ludum Dare, so I may have overestimated my skills.
@torte478, @breadkiy and @almassko came up with the idea and then we brainstormed for a few hours.
Very interesting concept loved exploring around outside and in the dreams! Awesome artwork and the story was great! :clap:

There seems to be bug.
It didn't happened when I retried, but the text was really messy.
The concept was really interesting, well done!
EDIT: The spinning animation also went crazy fast in the credits.
Nice entry. My major critique is text is veeeery slow
Very cool graphics and mood~
Got a crash: byte index 27 is not a char boundary; it is inside '’' (bytes 26..29) of `Suddenly, you feel like it’s time to wake up.
@clymm, thanks!!!
@3deimos, maybe so, but you can use C to skip that
@mibi88, @resty, that's a bit weird, but I think it's a bug that only happens in some rare cases and I'll fix it as soon as possible.
Upd: fixed (maybe)
Love the aesthetic, well done!.
@eugenik, thanks!! :D
ORB. Loved the sprite work and dialogue, I couldn't quite figure out how to get past the blue orb boss lol I figure I didn't do something write because I kept getting stuck there lol some ambience, even stock, would've really helped with the vibe. Stylish entry!
