Well the game is certainly rough around the edges, but the main mechanic fun and well implemented!

Beat on my second attempt. For anyone else wondering: **Use the numkeys (1-3) to switch equipment**.

Great concept! I also like the graphics. I didn't figure out how to use the probe effectively, though. Just digging seemed way more effective :D

pentagrammal 2026-04-21 19:39

On the first try, 3 seconds left) (True, a couple got a shovel, but that's another story)

owi 2026-04-21 19:40

Took me some time to figure out how to actually play the game, it really needs some sort of tutorial. This game also need a lot of polishing but it's alright, game mechanics work and do their job (didn't get the idea of Probe, it was faster to just start digging)

peterlebagarreur 2026-04-21 19:50

Great game overall, it's nice to see an event that could happen in real life in a game!

crak 2026-04-21 19:51

Kept trying to save all my friends but in the end we had to leave John behind, now the Mountain holds him forever.

lenny-rudeberg 2026-04-21 20:02

Great job, good sense of challenge. I had a lot of fun exploring around digging up survivors!

petr-vejchoda 2026-04-22 13:34

@jakob-meier @owi yeah, at the time of release we did not found a good balance between probe and shovel delays and AoE size to make it more interesting to use the probes. But before the release we had more problems with just fixing bugs. I think the probe should have little to no delay and the shovel should get smaller AoE so that it would actually be possible to miss the victims just by shoveling. We might do a re-release once we find out better values. Thanks for the feedback, though.

@crak RIP in Pepperonis John.

theg 2026-04-22 19:30

enjoyed this one! is our poor rescuer only in a tshirt?

janinna21 2026-04-22 19:38

@theg thank you - glad you enjoyed it. And yes - our rescuer is just in a t-shirt 🥶😰. The incident happened when they were skitouring and going up. On the hiking up its better to go just in t-shirt than be sweaty and wet when you reach the top where its windy. But of course - you should always take your safety as a priority before you go saving others. So yes! Our guy should take some clothes on before the rescue. We will tell him this feedback 🫡.

petr-vejchoda 2026-04-22 20:33

@janinna21 we should have put pair of skis somewhere on the map for the people to find them as an easter egg ... next time ...

miclefirst 2026-04-22 20:54

Lol. I managed to find one person, but the game didn’t run very smoothly. Still, I can praise your persistence — keep it upchrome_7KFkxPIPYs.png

Interesting concept, the graphics are good, and the audio is well integrated. I think the scenery could be less pixelated to match the character's style, and walking on top of the trees is a bit strange.

But overall, it's a good game, keep up the good work!

anku 2026-04-22 21:05

An interesting concept. In some ways, our games feel similar - I guess we both ended up making that association between signals and rescue in a snowy setting. The gameplay is interesting, though the visuals feel a bit chaotic at first, even if you do get used to them over time.

elemel 2026-04-27 12:23

Did I get killed by an avalanche? Was too zoned in on the beacon. Good job.

bloodbane 2026-04-27 14:25

That was fun rescue game! I don't think I know how to use probe but I do know how to trace signal from my friends.

petr-vejchoda 2026-04-28 12:05

@bloodbane The probe either hits your friend in a face. In that case it gives you a sound cue and a wiggle. If you poke your friends eye with a probe like this, you know that you can safely dig him out from the snow and he will thank you gratefully.

For getting the job done in functionally 24 hours, this is a good proof of concept! Well done and would love to see where you take this idea! c:

jazzydingo 2026-05-08 04:20

Cool game! Had fun pinpointing the guys, it was a little finnicky at times trying to dig the right place, also unity logo was blocking my view lol, but i figured it out and saved 2 people :) i like the art too! good work!
