LD59 — Signal

Radio Galaxy by Skyeward 2026-04-23T12:59:20Z

Great, good puzzle game. The planets are beautiful, and I love this space theme. It was complicated at the beginning, I struggled a lot with the first 3 planets, but after understanding the rotation well, the rest was relatively easy. I think you have a good game here, practically complete.

Time is Honey by gryxitl 2026-04-21T22:58:57Z

The game is very good. The wires added a really cool charm, the music is good, and the game's art is very appealing. I liked it a lot!

Almost Empty by ewpratten 2026-04-22T21:41:43Z

I loved flying the spaceship and being able to travel around the planets delivering packages.

I felt like I was in Futurama, probably one of my favorite cartoons.

I felt the game's premise was somewhat vague.

The low-poly models looked very charming.

A good and fun game.

Blip&Dig by ArtemGet 2026-04-21T18:20:55Z

Friendly crabs and a very satisfying game!

I noticed that it's much faster and more practical to drag the mouse across the screen instead of searching for the exact location of the signal, which somewhat defeats the purpose of using the detector or signals. But, it's great to see the crabs working for you.

Good Game!

Sinking Signal - Physical Rules Edition by NBumgardner 2026-04-23T13:16:43Z

I used to love this type of game in my childhood/teenage years.

It subverted my expectations, haha.

🪐🍕 Space Pizza Delivery by thecoconutdream 2026-04-21T12:27:00Z

Beautiful pixel art! I'm terrible with security codes, thankfully we can escape!

Sigul Signal by Bloodbane 2026-04-23T13:09:32Z

The game looks interesting, but I couldn't get very far.

No matter how hard I tried, these insects really want me dead!

And, when jumping, the character starts the jump without moving from the spot on the X-axis. When trying to run from the insects, this jump gave them an advantage.

Anyway, keep up the good work!

Radiowaves by T90. 2026-04-21T23:47:28Z

That's really cool. Yuna's voice acting and some of the music reminded me of my all-time favorite game, Rockman Dash.

I did much better on my second playthrough, and the story is pretty good too.

On Ivy Boulevard by python-b5 2026-04-24T21:58:02Z

This game is amazing.

It looks like a film noir. Good story, simple graphics, and audio that perfectly matches the plot. They made good use of the theme as well.

Excellent!

Islandia by Derek Glennon 2026-04-22T06:17:03Z

Good game, I loved the graphics. I got a little confused with the axe; I tried using it on the trees and it kept throwing it, and the tree wouldn't cut it. The physics of the objects is a bit strange too, especially the axe when it's attached to the player, but nothing that interferes with the game. Overall, I liked the game, it's simple, and has cute art. Congratulations!

RESCUE by Petr Vejchoda 2026-04-22T21:03:27Z

Interesting concept, the graphics are good, and the audio is well integrated. I think the scenery could be less pixelated to match the character's style, and walking on top of the trees is a bit strange.

But overall, it's a good game, keep up the good work!

Téloche by Magalix 2026-04-21T12:58:09Z

Simple and fun!

I miss the days when we used to punch TVs, so thanks for this, haha

Twilight Bark by Capreola 2026-04-21T17:51:21Z

Yes, it's a little confusing at first, but after a few mistakes you get the hang of it. Really, a good puzzle, good theme, and cute graphics.

Soul Beat by semenov 2026-04-20T20:58:51Z

I survived! The graphics confused me, but the atmosphere was quite interesting. It kept me expecting a jumpscare the whole time... Well done!

DAY 189 by Evelyn_Rudaleva 2026-04-22T05:45:53Z

Unfortunately, the game crashed right at the beginning on my machine. The game looks amazing, and reading the comments here reinforces that. Thank you for sharing the trailer and congratulations to the team!

Tune by DeathandRepublic 2026-04-22T06:28:17Z

Great graphics and sound fits well. The controls are complicated, but it's a matter of getting used to them. I also got stuck at the beginning, even after reading the tutorial. I only understood after going to the comments.

However, the map is huge and the game is quite difficult, and having few lives complicates things, haha.

Nevertheless, it's a great game!

Mom, I'm In Space - MIIS by Eden_Zorro 2026-04-21T18:04:18Z

Thank you for all the comments and for your time and patience! I loved making this game and your feedback is very important to me.

@thecoconutdream @draki @vadoha5

@geeni I feel your pain, I feel the same!

@bambutcher Thanks for the advice, I'll keep that in mind!

@capreola Thanks, I got a little inspiration from Dave the Dive! It's more complicated on the keyboard, but there's a joystick support. And sorry for the difficulty, I find it a bit difficult myself, but I considered the challenge fun.

Again, thank you all!

@pentagrammal @ulziton @podrez

Thank you all for your feedback! (And sorry about the damn asteroids, haha.)

@accelerate0814

I appreciate your kind words! I got really into this game, and knowing that it's fun means a lot to me!

Mom, I'm In Space - MIIS by Eden_Zorro 2026-04-22T11:04:00Z

@pavel-goncharov

Haha, I just played your game. I have to say, your meteors were much friendlier!

I understand that those space rocks are no joke.

Thanks for your feedback, I'll improve for next time!

Mom, I'm In Space - MIIS by Eden_Zorro 2026-04-23T12:18:17Z

Hello everyone!

This is my first time participating here, and it's been incredible to receive your feedback.

@kenoshka - It was my mistake; I should have made it a little more explicit. The radar on the astronaut's head points to the nearest point of interest, and the higher the signal strength, the farther away the radar will pick up. To approach this point of interest, you can use either the radar's color or the sound. I finished the game a few hours before the end of the event, so I couldn't notice this detail.

@hazel-c - I'm sorry I didn't make a Mac build! My world basically revolves around Windows, and I didn't make this build because I couldn't test it before publishing. But thank you for your kind words!

@andrian - I'm glad you liked it, and believe me, I wanted to make it even more vibrant, more vast, with distant galaxies, the ISS, black holes, and other planets visible (even if none of that makes much sense!), but time was cruel!

I learned so much at this Jam, not only from the game I made, but from your games as well.

Again, thank you all!

Mom, I'm In Space - MIIS by Eden_Zorro 2026-04-24T22:06:26Z

@sam-gorman and @roman-novikov

Thank you for your feedback!

I tried adding a mouse aiming system, but I wasted a lot of time and it ended up being a bit rough, so without time to polish it, I thought it best to remove it.

Ultimately, this ended up making the game harder, which I didn't expect to take so long to finish, so losing in every run certainly makes the game a bit frustrating.

I think developers always find their own games too easy, and I didn't have anyone to test it with before publishing.

Anyway, I appreciate your comments, and I will certainly do better next time.

Planchette by Accelerate0814 2026-04-22T10:36:42Z

A good game, the art is very good, especially in the side-scrolling section. The phone mechanic was a positive point, and the chosen phone model reminds me of times gone by. The only downside was the moment when you have to mash the LMB. I tried 3 times, but my mouse can't handle that much effort! Now I feel like I missed the true ending of the game... But overall, great game!

Keep a stable connection by Pentagrammal 2026-04-22T05:36:21Z

Good and simple game! Unfortunately, I don't type that fast!

Saving Planet by Bambutcher 2026-04-21T12:49:35Z

This game brought back old memories. Excellent, but I found it a little difficult. The decryption points drop very quickly, and after a few mistakes, I can't regain control. However, it's a great game!

Zap the Dead by Stepanoff 2026-04-22T05:24:25Z

Interesting game, good use of the theme and very nice graphics. "Skeletons really love hugs," at first I thought they wanted to kill me, but no, they really love a hug! Hug a skeleton today!

Ping to Survive by Mekuire 2026-04-22T18:11:39Z

Good job with this game, it's simple and well-polished, moving and using the dash is very satisfying.

A little difficult, a great challenge!

DOT & DASH by Kenoshka 2026-04-22T18:24:04Z

A great idea for this game jam theme, well executed, the last stage was a bit tricky for me! The trick to winning was writing down the commands on a piece of paper instead of looking them up in the list every time! PS: Now I know how to use the S.O.S. signal in Morse code, so thank you for that!

Signal of Memories | 忆波 by Seasea 2026-04-22T13:48:25Z

Fun game, very cute and charismatic ghost, and a very important message as we race against obstacles. Sometimes I failed in the levels while trying to understand what was happening in the story, phrase by phrase.

Sometimes I felt that the blue bubbles weren't revealing themselves when firing the search signal, but it might just be my skill failing.

However, good game, beautiful graphics and very pleasant audio.

I liked it!

Signals of God by Geeni 2026-04-21T17:27:20Z

I loved the sound of the king baboon, and the art is intriguing. My only problem was that I found God, but I didn't understand anything... Well, it must be like real life. Good Game!

Send the Signal by Pavel Goncharov 2026-04-22T11:09:32Z

Great game, and I liked the upgrade system!

(I should have thought of that for my game!)

I think with this type of game, we always think about shooting, so the use of bombs was a twist on expectations.

Good game!

COPYTHAT by PPKO 2026-04-22T13:00:02Z

Simple and fun game.

It's a good thing we don't know what the guy says when we make a mistake!

I would never memorize the patterns, so I had to take a lot of screenshots to finish the game, and the last level was kind of trial and error.

But interestingly, the game's setting is really cool, it reminded me of Rick and Morty (when it was good).

ENIGMAUS by yodak 2026-04-22T13:22:11Z

Very good, the game is fun and has some really funny sound effects.

The first level is a nightmare, and although I managed to get through the others without much trouble, I got stuck on The Final Cheesedown.

The cheese is really hard to cut, but it doesn't hinder the game at all.

Overall, a fun game.

Drum`n`Ice by PepeBrante 2026-04-22T11:24:55Z

Good game, good graphics. The music, the art, the voice acting, remind me of the Crash Bandicoot series.

In other words, there's a lot of quality involved.

PS: I had to play the PC version - ZIP because on both sites, here and on Itch.io, there's a problem with FullScreen (and without fullscreen I couldn't read any of the text and game commands).

Fortunately, the Windows executable version works perfectly.

Again, great game, great visuals and good mechanics.

Save the Cat by Andrian 2026-04-22T21:15:32Z

I saved the cat! Interesting game, the graphic style is unique. You said that some AI Assets were used in the game, and I think it wasn't necessary. I think you have the skills to do it.

Anyway, I enjoyed it, and I liked how you used the theme.

The battle signal by Vadoha5 2026-04-21T17:39:55Z

I liked it, and graphically it's quite interesting. I felt it lacked a clear objective. I searched every corner, but died a few times after running out of knives and ammunition.
