Cool!
Really fun! The controls felt good, was a little tricky to find the first 'in distance' satellite, but once you could start the chain, it was really intuitive! Love the cover art too!
Fun game, but at first I didn't understand what to do. Once I figured it out, everything went smoothly. The controls for cutting cheese are not very convenient.
At first I was just cutting cheese. And I didn't understand why. But then I understood ))) And I was hooked.
Fun game! Felt like I was simulating cheese star system with mice planets. The music has just the right vibe. It was a bit tough cutting the cheese at the place I wanted at the start of the round when the wheel is close to whole.
A surprising gameplay, pretty polished, levels seem generous to my cheese cutting skill!
crazy in a good way
Rotating and cutting the cheese is a bit hard to control, and it would be helpful to guide players to pull the cheese onto the plate after it's cut. 🧀🔪🤔
Seems fun! Cool little puzzle game! But cheese cutting sometimes gets hard....
Very good, the game is fun and has some really funny sound effects.
The first level is a nightmare, and although I managed to get through the others without much trouble, I got stuck on The Final Cheesedown.
The cheese is really hard to cut, but it doesn't hinder the game at all.
Overall, a fun game.
@eden-zorro Thank you for enjoying the game! The Final Cheesedown looks scary, but you can actully solve it with just one slice! The ground collider is pretty generous, you can even just aim in the general direction and seal the deal with some of the last two plates.
Mice mechanic! I mean, Nice mechanic! I have the sensation that I cheesed a few level, but hey, that's part of the fun! Cutting the cheese is a bit difficult, I think two buttons to rotate it in one way or the other would have been more intuitive. Well done :)
I couldn't really figure out what to do. I sliced the cheese and set it on a plate. Everywhere else the cheese instantly disappeared. Also the cheese wheel is kinda hard to control. But fun artstyle and a cool song. Definitly has a vibe.
@rapidraid Thank you for trying my game. The cheese placed on a plate attracts mice and you can use that to manipulate them to the hole.
@yodak hmm i mean i tried exactly that but only a few overshoot into the goal-hole. The rest crawled around the cheese and stayed there seemingly? 😓
@rapidraid When that happens, you can just reset the level and try one more time!
It's really funny. Love the art and music, but the cheese cutting mechanic is a bit confusing.
The game surprised me with its mood, and I really liked it. The gameplay is simple and straightforward, but the controls are sometimes inconvenient.
Interesting idea, from what I could gather I was using the gravity of the size of the cheese to lure B-rats into hole xD had some fun messing around with it and seeing how their courses would potentially shift. It seemed a little buggy in places, the level with the wavy path and 3 plates had some rats make it to the end, but then they started to accumulate on one plate until they stopped spawning, but some levels would just continue to the enxt, even if I failed to get any rats in after like 30 seconds. Not sure what was needed to win a round exactly but enjoyed messing around with it for a bit :D
The art was fairly simple which made the levels easy to understand and I think it worked towards the games overall style. Good job with this!
very funny and cool game! i liked that beep boop bop soundtrack, references to some popular songs (another cheese bites the crust etc). didn't get mechanic at first (maybe because of controls), but understood it after a while. good entry!
Super fun game! Loved to "cheese" the level when I could hahah! ;)
I managed to complete the entire game, the cheese was given to the mice, and the mice fell into a black hole.
I didn't understand what I was supposed to do first, but when I found how to guide the mice, it became very fun ! Would like to play more levels :mouse:
Cool idea, but I wish there was a tutorial. I couldn't figure out what I had to do at first but after some trying around I finally figured it out and then it was quite fun. The Cheese cutting was a bit wonky though and I had the feeling i always had to slice the same amout of cheese each time. Still, great work overall!
So unpredictable, yet so fun, well done!
So the cheese is the gravity well! That's a really fun design! The cliff composition on level 4 and those pink creatures totally reminded me of the Kirby falling off a cliff screaming meme lol, well done!
Great art style and i love slice cheese mechanic)
quite interesting, unique gameplay! it was hard to figure out what to do at first, but once you figure it out, it's fun!
perhaps you should include a description of what to do (you can't edit the build, but you can change the description!). maybe that would improve the experience for new players!
How... utterly, utterly bizarre. And the jokes are so... cheesy!
The controls were really difficult. I figured out how the cheese cutter works, but a lot of times it wouldn't let me click once I had it in the place I wanted it, and a lot of times I couldn't get it to move the way I wanted it to. But I did eventually finish the game! The graphics are solid and the sound design is pretty good.
I love games like this. Really nice work with the level design and overall alien nature of the game, it feels like it was beamed here from another planet. Kinda gives me Jazzpunk and Ratboy Genius vibes. I do wish I the cheese spinning controls were more precise and the cheese slicing edge more obvious... it feels like the cheese spin circle should have each mouse-to-cheese-center vector map to a unique cheese spin angle, whereas right now it seems like I can only spin it 180 degrees or so. Nice work!
@picross Thank you for playing! You can actually turn the cheese pretty precisely, but the controls are using both horisontal and vertical axis, so for smallest slice you need the mouse to to be in the low left corner and it's visually out from the round area but still works. But yeah, that's kinda confusing. In hindsight should have sticked with horisontal only.
Nice idea, but it was very tricky to choose the amount of cheese with the mouse.
