It's interesting, and looks great! Nice mechanics! Although so many bugs :( It looks simple, but it loads my pretty powerful desktop so much, like cyberpunk2077 :D However it good work!

I love it! Gameplay is challenging but still insanely fun, and I really liked the sense of progression with the items and increasing difficulty. The overall vibe of the game is great too, feels old school in a way and the whole cultist theme was really cool. I also didn't run into any bugs or performance issues. RIP Frank
Great game! Works very well and has a good flow!
Somehow I wasn't able to start playing the game, it seems that a file is missing. If you fix it, I'd gladly play your game, as it seems really interesting !
Thanks for playing everyone so far!
@bravebanana, what bugs did you encounter? We'll probably do a post jam update at some point!
@mcdown, can you send me a screenshot of the error you see to teamterribledev@gmail.com thanks!
Very well done wall running and teleporting mechanics. Game controls are very intuitive, plus you can telefrag, a nice nod for an Unreal Engine game. The final arena was definetly a high point, freedom of movement, many routes to take, no death trigger volumes... Didn't care for the pure platforming sections though. Played it until the ending which, might I add, was a nice touch.
@sevkron thanks for the awesome feedback! We weren't sure how much time people would need with the platforming mechanics before we threw them into the heat of combat 😁
this was a sweet game! funnest ive played, mainly cause its right up my street. further time on this game i think it could be areally good slash runner.
Great ! Well done !
DAMN! I had an absolutely blast with this one! Kinda felt like Quake/DOOM mixed with Mirror's Edge. Loved the on the nose humor as well, well done!
It felt great to run and jump around and especially the wall running. Killing the little floating cultist guys felt good as well. Very impressed how good this feels to play on such a tight deadline. Kudos!
I was worried when I saw wall-running, because that almost never feels good, but it felt pretty good. The entire movement system was really nice, I wish the camera was up slightly higher though because sometimes it was hard to tell where to go. Outside of the camera height, I didn't really have any other issues. It was really fun, and 100% fit the theme.
Hey I'll leave a full thing when I'm finished but OH MY GOD THIS IS GREAT SO FAR
Damn this was fun! The movement was so fluid, the wallrunning was well implemented, the teleportation was an amazing feature, fighting the evil cult overlords was satisfying and the story was amazing. The only thing I didn't like that much is that the game gets really really hectic sometimes. But this was still a ton of fun to play!
Really fun not much else I need to say. Controls were really responsive and it felt good. Pretty impressive for the timeframe. I appreciated how quick getting back into the game after a death was. This might be my favourite game so far!
OK THIS IS SOO GOOD the movement is super fun in general. The base platforming moveset is great, the little boost you get from each slash is super pleasing, and you added a teleport at just the right time to keep things interesting. Communicating areas to wall run was done VERY well, I never felt confused outside of one specific area. I think the final trial area didn't really work with the mechanics too well, since a big chunk of the appeal of killing enemies was the movement but I found myself being repeatedly killed over and over, but it was really pleasing when I finally figured out a route through it. The music was good, the mood was good, the game feel was fantastic. Great job on this! Most fun I've had playing any game so far this jam
So good that i didn't wanna stop playing. All in this game was carefully insert, in a way that the mechanics, atmosphere, enemies and absolutely all - including the sounds - create this amazing progression. Great work, soon i will play the implemented version.
Note - a charismatic character named frank appeard in the right time, and for a moment i wished him to start to talk haha.
My best regards.
That felt SO GOOD ! Oh my god, all the mechanics are on point, and SUPER FUN. I mean, the only little thing is that enemies are hard to see, but really it's minor. I had a BLAST playing this, the gamefeel was awesome, a Doom-like with parkour elements. Do you plan to do more update after the jam ? Or create a complete game with these mechanics ? Like, seriously, this is a really good base, with more levels, a little story and level-specific gameplay changes, I can TOTALLY see that on Steam.
Wall running is always a win! I could see people actually getting competitive and speedrunning this. Oddly, the game pulled up SteamVR when I runned it, and didn't have any audio. I hear this is a common issue with Unreal Engine games.
Otherwise, this is absolutely perfect. <3
really impressive submission! the wallrun mechanics were nicely implemented, though i was a little disappointed that apparently you still die automatically after descending a bit, even if you were wall-running the entire way. was hoping i had figured out a handy speedrun skip. nice entry though! holy shit frank you can teleport?
Crazy good submission, I'm impressed. Bigger field of view would've made it even better though
@dimaswift funnily enough, I did actually mess around with adding a bigger FOV, but a lot of it came down to preference. What we should have done is add the option to let the player decide. Thanks for the feedback!
THIS IS INCREDIBLE. I loved this so much, I played the jam version just for the sake of fairness but it still felt great, I definitely spent far too long trying to complete the game! Sometimes I felt like I was falling off from wallrunning when I shouldn't be, and it was a little too dark, but other than that this one of my favourite jam games for sure. If you ever decide to make a full version please let me know!
Great job making this game ! The platforming and combat feel great! I love the Lovecraftian atmosphere too!
wow! Thats a huge project for jam. Gameplay is super fun and addictive (feels like good old quake). Overall really nice polished game. Good job!
Hidden gem - felt a bit unfair at times but overall the movement and graphics are really nice. ^^
Really fun game! But I wish slashing the sword would feel better.
Movement feels really polished, great game!
Fun action platformer, well executed and polished. The controls are smooth and I love the wall running. The level design was great most of the time, sometimes a little unfair but that might just be me. The graphics are okay, a bit generic, and there should absolutely be an option to turn the motion blur off.
What a solid game! And it looks amazing too!
The movement mechanics are very tight, for the most part. The combat feels fluid when you get it right, but can be a bit frustrating at times when getting sniped out of nowhere, or when aim-assist-slashing into an enemy right as they let out their fireball. Still, those are small nitpicks in an overall great experience!
Great game with some rough edges. Thanks for submitting to my steam!
Very cool game. The wall running/jumping and teleporting mechanics were a lot of fun. I wish the game was built more on that, where you have to do some challenging manouvers to get to the next checkpoint. The combat was nicely balanced.
Mechanics is really fun and polish, overall a great game.
This was really fun to play. I would've liked more lighting in this game. Its sometimes hard to see as far as i wanted. Maybe get the player to hold a torch.
Nice mechanics, unfortunately the level design didn't always follow. Some interesting bits, others painfully abstruse. I'm not used to this kind of game so I needed a lot of feeling around at first, and also I had to set my keyboard up (tip for non-qwerty keyboard users, you can alt+shift IG and it'll switch without affecting your pc as a whole), a key-mapping option would've been nice.
Though it had its moments of fun and I really think there's a base for interesting gameplay, it mostly felt messy as I felt myself scout through the levels, rushing the elevators.
On a note, I often ended up stuck without the sword by a bizarrely triggered checkpoint, at the first encounter with enemies. Without knowledge of the run-on-walls thing, and clumsily making my way through the game, it took me a long time to realize what I was doing wrong, and namely, to get back to the submission page to take a look at the gif... I was confused by the fact that the menu doesn't give the input info on attacks despite giving it for controls!
If any of this is fixed in the versions you'll come up with later, sorry for being the annoying guy, but other than that, I actually enjoy the basis of your game, it just isn't much my thing as is (but I still think it's a good entry).
I don't forget that you're a team of 2 only, too, and there's still stuff to be proud so gg!
Very fun game and the theme is very accurate! I had trouble seeing the enemies, may be use more contrast on them will help :) Nice job!
The game is soo fun! Special thanks for the death quotes that were just motivating me more!
I loved it!
what a beautiful game!
Hey matey, thanks for submitting your game to stream! I really enjoyed it, and I hope my feedback helps! Mark down that 5:01, whilst maybe not the best speedrun, surely the best done on stream. Here's the vod if ya wanna rewatch later;

Had fun with this one! Some elements were really well laid out to hint where the player should go, and some had me thinking I needed a different approach (like one area I kept trying to wall run where I needed to actually get on top of the platforms, but it didn't look like I could jump high enough to get on the platforms. While I love wall runs, this kind of suffered from the issue a lot of games with wall run have, where it feels more like you're just running on a flat or slightly inclined surface with just a camera tilt, not like you have to have enough momentum going into the wall to give yourself traction and you're forced to jump back and forth between walls more. Maybe that's just me. One thing that did feel wrong, though, is you'd just keep wall running even when you stopped pressing forward, but that's a minor polish thing. Some really nice looking models, too!
The game left me wanting to play more when I got to the end, though, which is certainly a good thing!
@jitspoe thanks for the in-depth review! There is one part in the game in particularly that I cringe when people get stuck on. Although I'm pretty happy with the level design, it does suffer a bit from, 'madly rushing to get the game finished' syndrome in places. It's funny you should mention things like the 'keep wall running even when not pressing forward' mechanic. We had a lot of discussion around controls and honestly felt like a lot of it came down to personal preference from user to user. So we just did what we felt was 'right'.
Great to get so much feedback! Glad you enjoyed it :)
I've had enough of this game. I even went back to warcraft because of it. Luckily I found a site that helped me with powerleveling - https://kingboost.net/w/leveling/ . So I was able to open myself up to more difficult missions and make my game more interesting. I wish you the same!
