Nice game. I would've loved a sound effect when running out of bullets I had to always keep an eye on my ammo count instead of being able to concentrate on the game. and then I didn't quite understand the enemies that shot lasers? there didn't seem a way to really avoid them other than to kill them before they kill you.

I really enjoyed playing this game though I do have some critiques. It would've been great if everything wasn't so green, it's really hard to really see where you can walk and where you can't a glance. I do know that you were limiting yourself to a GB palette, but even then you have 4 colors, that's quite a lot! the brightest color and bright green could've been used for walkable tiles and the other 2 colors for non-walkable tiles. it would've added alot of clarity to the maps. There were these dark ground tiles that I first thought were some kind of blocks because they were so dark, so that's something to look out for. other than that I really enjoyed the music and the gameplay. it's a really nice game and I hope you keep improving in the future.

I was quite interested in using the movement mechanic, but I had a really hard time really understanding what was going on. I think having the red compas around the ship could be a great change as darting back and forth from your ship to the bottom left of the screen became disorienting very quick. I would've appreciated having a clearer indication of my own direction too. the ship's direction was quite hard to read on the small sprite. maybe something like black arrow around your ship or something? it was quite fun anyways, hope you keep improving!

really nice game, though I would suggest being clearer in your art, I had a hard time seeing the bandage in the bandage minigame or seeing the anvil falling on the cat in the cat minigame. maybe a thicker outline, maybe just another color would make things more visible. hope you keep improving!

fun game, some tricky parts here and there like the acid part everyone mentioned. some checkpoints might have been nice, I also had quite a few issues with fitting that box in the first room through the door of the exact same size, would've been nice if it were bigger to not have those kind of problems. art was nice though

the hydra idea is interesting but it doesn't seem like there is much one can do once the hydra is on the floor in the smaller stages. it would've been interesting if the hydra maybe go knocked back from being hit then shooting the hydra would not just be a penalty but a strategic option. it was also quite hard to be sure of hitting an enemy, would've been great it they maybe made a sound and or flashed white. there's improvements to be made but it's a good start!

neat little game! I have one nitpick which is that the sound when getting hit sounded too positive, which got me confused at first, but that's pretty much it.

very good game, the only thing that confused me was when I was suddenly able to shoot without having to lock on as it didn't occur to me I just kept trying to dodge instead of actually fighting.
