Fun game. Nice twist at the end.

alendro 2014-12-09 19:59

Like the art. Nice job

thingostudios 2014-12-09 22:22

"A Pane of Blue Glass"

Hilarious ending; I liked the minimalist graphics and found the absurdity refreshing given the potentially dark subject matter.

lapskaus 2014-12-09 22:28

Loved it! Always wondered why RPGs never make more out of the incredibly fun minigame that is stacking your inventory.

jyrkface 2014-12-09 23:21

Great game! Wish I was smart enough to make it to the end. I blame Todd.

barkergames 2014-12-10 04:14

I love this one! Nice use of the theme!

team-myopia 2014-12-10 04:24

Great game that keeps you thinking. The first level took me way too long haha

triplefox 2014-12-10 04:30

Very challenging puzzles.

triplefox 2014-12-10 04:34

Oh, I just realized the space to rotate thing. No wonder this seemed so hard.

el-pepi 2014-12-10 04:36

Wow! Really creative! And hilarious!
Loved the ending!

pkenney 2014-12-10 04:38

Very clever twist on a classic gaming trope, and a good use of theme. The gag of it all was nicely offset by the dark tone. I got to the end, it was just the right difficulty and length, the narrative was engaging, and the final level was a great way to close.

Tight scope nailed spot on, good job.

max_peabody 2014-12-10 04:41

Very clever and surprisingly poignant.

kirbytails7 2014-12-10 05:43

(;o;) Todd!

bensonance 2014-12-10 08:47

This is so good! Love the dark humour - the twist at the end is hilariously dark metaphor for "leaving people behind" in the apocalypse. Awesome work!

frump 2014-12-10 11:54

Fun puzzles, good graphics and a nice story. Great work.

mr_tag 2014-12-10 13:49

Awesome! At first I thought on the last screen that you can't finish the game and it would end just like that, tried out a few more combinations and when suddenly the continue journey button appeared I actually laughed out loud :D

ossi 2014-12-10 22:13

Super clever and really funny dialogue. I like how you separated each "game" element into it's own category for the different stats. The items I had to sort gave me a good laugh. Good job!

cyrixd 2014-12-10 22:49

Fantastic, very funny, challenging but not impossible puzzles, great work.

louisload 2014-12-10 23:28

challenging puzzles together with a creative mechanic to combine it with a more profound story.
good work!

junuxx 2014-12-11 01:48

Excellent! Funny, clever and highly original. But poor Todd.

johnro 2014-12-11 05:37

Across the board, a fantastic game.

soron 2014-12-11 06:50

Nooo! Jeff :(! Poor, delicious Jeff... And I suppose Todd, but who cares about Todd?

chaoseed 2014-12-11 06:55

This is a weird, but fun game. I love the gameplay, except it's kind of unforgiving; on the very first level I had to choose EXACTLY the right combination of items and fit them in with NO extra space. Later levels seemed more forgiving, which is odd. But I love arranging stuff. (The bit where you have to figure out the most efficient combination of items, though, that makes me worry...I'm scared there will be too many options and I'll be stuck searching through them for hours...)

The tone of the story is...Well, I can get behind a post-apocalyptic parody with a guy traveling with 'Jeff', and then what happens to Jeff, and it's hilarious...but then he talks about his kids disappearing, it almost seems TOO serious. (I love the 'Blue Pane of Glass', though. Somehow the mere idea of that amuses me.) I guess maybe just a little editing to make sure you strike the right tone.

One thing I'd like to see is, if you try to put down an item, and it is blocked by one other item, the item you're holding gets picked down and the one that was blocking gets picked up. (I think Diablo 2, the obvious inspiration for this game, does it that way...)

Anyway, I had fun with this!

wusakko 2014-12-11 15:31

Really nice puzzlegame! One of the best games I have played so far

ljdp 2014-12-11 21:24

Haha, never thought I'd see this subsystem made into a full game. Didn't make it to the end as I got stuck on lvl 3 I think. The difficulty curve was off but that's forgiveable. I could definitely see this playing well on a tablet. Excellent work, one of my favourites so far.

robustinteractive 2014-12-11 22:13

wow so awesome! i think your inventory has no limits! :D

defectivemelon 2014-12-12 01:12

Really funny game with a great concept. RIP Jeff. The difficulty curve is a little weird though

manusaiz 2014-12-12 01:38

Oh cmon, poor guy! Now seriously, nice game, modest scope for elegant result, respect.

sandcrawler 2014-12-12 05:44

I really enjoyed this game. It reminds me of Croteam's Sigils of Elohim to a degree.

rabbit 2014-12-12 17:28

This is an awesome idea! You should really polish this up and release it.

rottenmage 2014-12-12 17:57

Interesting! This is definitely worth expanding upon.

mr-greenhat 2014-12-12 23:17

Very nice and creative! Love it!

legacycrono 2014-12-14 06:32

Holy shit, that ending. That was perfect.
Great game, superb execution!

burgerdare 2014-12-14 20:22

ouch. A brilliant ending to a game rife with dark humor. The twisted story combines with some surprisingly deep puzzle mechanics, making Inventory a winning package.
Well done, friend. Well done.

kyledaudio 2014-12-17 02:33

I love this game mechanic: It's so simple, yet I found this to be a really, really challenging game.

Great work making the game mechanic have relevance to the following story and humour as well! Few games do it as well as this! :D

The humour as absolutely top-notch, by the way.

xanjos 2014-12-18 15:31

Pretty fun and interesting concept and I liked the rather dark humour. Also that last level. Right in the feels man. Right in the feels...

nickw 2014-12-20 03:57

I have played this very game inside of other games like Diablo or DayZ too many times to count. I just want a bigger bag god damnit. It's a funny idea to make an entire game about inventory management, but I don't know if this kind of gameplay is very fun on its own. Todd didn't make it, but we filled up our story quota anyway. I had some problems with the rotation, it seems like the pivot point was not centered on some pieces, which meant I had to click outside the window to place items (which obviously doesn't work) I really like the simple art on all the items, and how you convey the story of the game through the actual inventory management (requiring the player to fill in a lot of the blanks since the items are most of the time nonsensical). The only other thing I can really say is that the interface itself is rather stark (gray on black). I think maybe changing up the color choice on the background would have gone a long way. Nice job indicating what each piece was through the outline though. Mostly intuitive once I got the basics down, and really funny ending. Thanks for creating your game!

draknek 2014-12-25 21:15

Got stuck on the second puzzle and couldn't be bothered to keep trying, but this is a neat way of doing storytelling.
