Blobbit - A Disaffected Squirmy by Wampus 2014-12-10T05:28:00
Great game, and I played it all the way through. It did take me till level 10 or so to figure out you can level up your stats but after that it was just a matter of divide and conquer.

as others have said, the controls really need to be more standard.
Other than that very cleanly executed (though simple) little game.
interesting retro game feel. feels like I'm playing something on a throwback dos system. UI and text is pretty well done and with some touching up would feel really awesome
Handles well and is very clear how to play, pretty simple though but a great start to what could be expanded to more.
Interesting idea but I would have liked to see more tower defense aspects to it since it's very hard to defend your buildings all by yourself. As much as I appreciate live recorded music the cello got on my nerves after not too long.
very chill, not immediately obvious what needed to happen but the help button helped.
Seems like a cool combination of ideas that could be fun to play in a more fleshed out version
Cool 2d spline animations for the characters, and good bright colors for the game overall. Needs some transition animations / tweens whenever stats are changing (makes it easier to tell whats going on).
nicely done, cool twist on the theme. Great progression with the individual abilities as items to find.
The platformer controls were "okay" but would definitely benefit from having some acceleration/decceleration and other physics tweaks, but good start.
It's a bit simple and easy to just move between a selling and buying planet that are close together. Ultimately not enough of a mechanic to be fun
Cool retro music and sound effects. Needed to maybe ramp up better to difficulty... but cool idea overall with the different squad members.
i like the idea of breaking through the screen / 4th wall here... well done puzzles as well
good job on the position audio!
very interesting take on a classic. I think the firing button should be able to be held down and fire a specific rate because pressing space quickly gets very tiring.
Nice game feel with the shake and graphics feedback, ship handles okay but seems a bit weird in place. overall pretty cool
music is bumpn.
awesome! Cool idea and zooming effect. I really like the different blocks and their mechanics, and you exploited them well in the level design.
I feel like the platforming controls could use work. They are very tightly tuned it seems to the level (which is good, maybe a little tough though at times), but the feel is very "stiff"
overall great work though!
Nice music ofc... pretty hilarious and odd.
The map / game world didnt really feel like it had any markers or ways to get a sense of where i was or what i was doing too much.
Same here
No binary, just source
Nicely done little games, and I reached all the platforms. It'd be nice to have a secondary mechanic like score/time/damage or something to make it more interesting.
Looks like a cool concept but not much to do other than build a few buildings as far as I can tell.
silly and interesting, good job
nice chill vibe to the game overall, good job.
Decent little jump side scroller. The background is pretty crazy to stare at though
Really cool transition animations and awesome idea overall. Lots of ways to extend the basic idea into more complex traps / puzzles etc.
Definitely needs some smaller intro levels to let players ramp up to the challenge
Interesting concept and graphics but didn't get too far in before glitchy sound screeched and made me stop playing.
Having your click meter go slower would help too.
cool idea, really needs to have some animation between block positions to clearly show the player whats happening though. Could also maybe use more variation with different block types / special items / combos etc
Cool particle effects
A difficult game by nature since all the objects are clumped together so much.
Pretty good little game. Better visual feedback on how big you are and what you're going to hit as you move around would go a long way though. As well as an untimed first level to get players adjusted to the mechanics.
Interesting take on the concept. It's hard to make the split second choices before the video ends, there also seems to be many dead ends.
I also didn't know what my condition was? Hugging her kills her? Some more exposition would be good to make this work.
Got the runtime error too :/
Nice little puzzle game, I made it all the way through, though not all of them with 3 stars. The biggest need of improvement is placing the signs since when you rotate the camera all the directions are off of course. Perhaps a click and drag on the point to show which direction.
There was also a bug where the camera couldn't be raised which was solved by restarting the level.
Overall a solid effort though.
Haha thanks for the comments, it is hard to balance the skiier spawn rate. Too high and they clump up and it becomes too easy, too low and there isn't anyone around...
Also, for people looking to get more fun out of it, download the source, open in unity, and tweak the spawn rates! I definitely had a lot of fun cranking them up and going nuts
Nice game with good pixel graphics and animations. Need to start in a more open area though so you don't immediately run into a building if your mouse is in the wrong place
Can't run it :/
I'm not sure how to actually play, I can select the rows but that doesn't seem to change anything...
Hahah, I want to know who think's doing tax forms are fun!
Very interesting take on the theme. Hard game though!
Won't load for me either
Great turret shooter game, fits the theme really well. Love the bouncing mechanics of the fireballs.
Awesome job. Using WASD didn't seem to control the same as the arrow keys, only S seemed to work.
Some sort of guide to tell you where to go would be very helpful.
Nice art, but hard to start learning and having fun. Switching the positions right off the bat is pretty confusing. Adding an animation of the head shooting out and eating the bird would help too.
Nice game with quite a few mechanics going on
Not sure how to run this. Looks like a ruby web app? Hosting it somewhere would be very helpful.
Seems really buggy. Controls don't move as expected, randomly turned into a skiier.
I also made a play on ski free http://ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-33/?action=preview&uid=47633
