Link's lead to a blank page :'(
Link should be fixed by now, sorry for the inconvinience :/
Very simple gameplay. I like that. You could port it to mobile. Think about it. :)
I think it's missing some "game over" screen so I can retry easily.
@hbocao
I actually plan to port it to android, as I used libGDX it should be pretty simple :)
I was about to add the game over screen, took a look at the time - 2:50 am (which is, as I'm german, 10 minutes before LD ends). I tried to squeeze in a restart key (at R), but it's horribly bugged. Let's see if I can fix that in a post compo version :)
Awesome but there is no game over screen and it is freezing. It's still cool though!
Pretty fun! Collision and movement controls could use some cleaning up, but it worked well enough to get a few good rounds in.
The mouse's hitbox doesn't seem to match the sprite at all. I've "died" without even touching a box. Also, the mouse doesn't seem to really run where I click so much as run and then stop short of where I clock. And freezing the game on a game over with no quick-and-easy means of resetting? Unforgivable in a game like this.
My score was about 9000. As others said, graphics, collision detection and freeze on game over are the major points to fix for a post-compo (if you are making one :D).
Very simple game, nice graphics. I do miss a game-over screen cause it just froze when I lost (which confused me) And maybe some more variation in boxes/traps would make the game more interesting.
Good work, though I think it's a bit cheesy.
Great music! But when a box landed on me my mouse got stuck and there was no obvious way to restart. Also, on fullscreen broke everything pretty badly (clicking to move stopped working and everything became extremely laggy, even the music began skipping. This is on OS/X 10.9.5)
The mouse was cute and the music was good!
I think the hit detection was a little off. There were a lot of times I wasn't close to one of the boxes and I would get stuck. I wasn't really sure how to restart. Sometimes there were lulls of no boxes and then other times there were a ton.
Fun idea, I love how he'd run faster if the cursor was further away!
Very nice! ;)
