Pretty good, but there were a few holes in the design. None of my plants ever got stolen, the things that would steal them only ever came from the bottom of the screen, and part of the end game text message was off the screen. It would also be nice if the seeds were a different color. Still, nice game.
I was a little confused at first how I was supposed to plant new plants. A quick in-game explanation would have been nice. I eventually just gave up on the torches because they stayed lit for so short a time.
I loved the main character! And the mood was great.
Good simple controls, and pretty easy to pick up and go with.
Wasn't sure what I was supposed to be doing at first. I understood planting plants but it didn't seem obvious what collecting them did. Perhaps a different sound effect to suggest I was doing something other than the generic "interact". It wasn't until the light grew much bigger from the player that I went "Oh now I get it."
Good music, colour palette, theme, all worked well together.

An interesting game! I had a really hard time picking it up at first, particularly because I didn't know what the seed bin in the middle was--I thought the plants would just grow, haha. The game got a lot easier after I figured that one out! I really liked the "dull" graphical palette, though, which created a certain mood. It was really that--the dark mood you created--that kept me playing all the way to the end. Thank you for the game!

Very nice mood. The music was didn't have much to it but still created a nice atmosphere. Great job on you compo entry!
Interesting idea, loved the mood - the music and the art were appropriately uneasy. The light-radius mechanic was a cool concept. Great job!
Neat concept! In practice, the plants took a really long time to grow, and I got bored waiting for them. Also, the controls felt kind of floaty, as though I were driving a racecar instead of a person. Cute art though!
