1. Needs multiple humans.
2. Humans probably should not be using computer (some of the quirks seem pretty visual).
3. Will play later.

Minimalist indeed! Nice job on coming up with something unique. The quirks and scenarios are entertaining.

frosnite 2013-05-01 19:11

Great idea and looks entertaining! I like that Ludum Dare doesn't restrict the scope of "Games" you can make :D. Thumbs up sir!

prelucid 2013-05-02 21:53

I have mad respect for this as someone who has D&D'd a bit.

mattperrin 2013-05-03 00:37

Wow, read through it and some interesting ideas all around. When it downloaded as a PDF I was wondering if I hit the wrong link. :)

gilmore606 2013-05-03 00:41

I was all set to hate on this, but then I read the thing...this is great. A cross between Cheapass Games and Fiasco. :D

ray_mickelino 2013-05-03 00:55

Hmm. Interesting idea. I didn't know that Ludum Dare accepted this kind of game. Pretty cool!

zeelyndz 2013-05-03 21:36

This looks pretty cool, will definitely check it out of I can find other players.

drkrunk 2013-05-05 23:19

Interesting! It seems like a lot of fun :D It's certainly a unique concept.

daisuke909 2013-05-06 00:40

Didn't have anybody hanging around so I wasn't able to play it properly, but it seems like it would've been a good time! Very original!

pinkerator 2013-05-06 12:25

Coffee after every sentence? :) That's hardcore for sure!

nrathbone 2013-05-06 13:07

Good morning everyone. Thank you all for your feedback! I've decided that I will release a post-compo version later, as well as fix some things (i.e. multiple spelling and grammar errors). Is there anything you guys want me to add or change? I'm always open to suggestions.

netmute 2013-05-06 14:20

Great job coming up with an RPG that doesn't require a 300 page rulebook ;)

kefir 2013-05-06 16:44

Board game! This is cool! really sweet alternative to video game. Saved. Will play it when I'll find company for that :)

m64 2013-05-06 17:48

Nice! I don't have time to play the game but I like the idea, alot. I would probably prefer the roles to be more inspiring but since I did not play I can't really tell how well these work.

szedouu 2013-05-06 19:40

Great game concept, very minimalistic, GJ!

dremelofdeath 2013-05-07 08:41

Extremely minimalist, with just a piece of paper and die. I like it. Didn't get a chance to play, but really liked the write-up. Good job.

thepsc1997 2013-05-07 14:28

I very want to play it, but i have problems with download file :<
Someone can send other link? ;>

make-a-game 2013-05-08 11:22

I couldn't play right now but I read and I saved the sheet for my next board games' night =).
I loved your idea, I got shocked when I downloaded the pdf, but after reading the sheet and your description it all made sense.

merkoth 2013-05-09 03:08

Very innovative, great job :)

dick_claus 2013-05-09 07:19

Think it's great for 48 hour board game.

nrathbone 2013-05-09 13:00

Hello, you guys! For those now commenting, after having read and/or played the game, if I make a post-compo version, should I keep the minimalistic 1-page only pocketmod format and rework mechanics, or allow for expansion and add up to a few more pages, (thus having 16 or even 24 pocketmod pages) allowing for a more complex experience? Please, let me know! And, as always, thank you for rating my game and helping to make it better!

ahm99 2013-05-10 05:18

It's too bad there isn't a computerized version of this game :( But the game looks interesting.

mach60kas 2013-05-18 12:56

Very nice, this seems like a great idea for a game! I always enjoy seeing tabletop games here. :)
