10-per, or something like that by RadioLemon 2013-08-26T10:02:00
I like the concept, although I think there is a way to get trapped in the level (or do I just suck at it? XD)

A nice, fun little concept, and cute graphics XD
But maybe there should be a more comprehensive way of knowing how the player died, since sometimes the RIP screen just comes up without me knowing exactly why. Just my opinion.
Hurray for top down shooter 10 seconds games :))
I like the concept, and the game, although the controls seemed odd to me at first. Still, nice.
@Drakonid
The moment they'll pile over you, that's when your fire rate and speed would go down, which means that you wouldn't be able to take one down and get the power up in time.
Or did I upload an older version without that feature? Anyway, thanks for the feedback. I will be updating the game as I go along.
Ah, I see. I didn't notice that, thanks for pointing it out. Thanks (I should get to uploading the new version sometime soon).
New version is up! Its basically the first and final stable build, except if there are found bugs or cracks that need fixing.
@triforcespark I guess its part of the challenge? If its more of a nuisance than a challenge, however, then I'll be glad to change it. It's only a few lines of code anyway.
@comrad_gremlin Well, here's to hoping that the new version will fix that!
@SusanTheCat I'm awfully sorry, in truth the linux and mac versions are just files generated by this program I use to make EXE files from JAR files, and I don't get to test them.
If the JAR file works, then just use that.
Nice, simple game.
Although, there might be a problem for users whose keyboards do not allow more than 3 key presses at the same time. Oddly enough, there are keyboards like that.
It's alright. For this kind of problem I just bring my USB keyboard out XD
Oh, sorry guys. Linked is now fixed.
With some changes. It's probably not allowed, but for some reason the old version was deleted from my Dropbox account. So much for that.
Reading the description, it seems as if we have similar game mechanics. Interesting :)) What did you make this in?
The multiple "play" buttons at the menu kind of surprised me. Do they serve any purpose?
In terms of graphics, the particle effects for the attacks are nice, but they kind of clash with the other sprites. The floor texture also kind of makes me dizzy, but that is a minor complaint. I also get random freezing and crashes, but I'm not sure if its just my Java acting up.
For a skeleton game, a good concept. It has potential.
The walk speed of the main character is inconsistent between the two builds I tried out (embedded and Windows). It's faster and more slippery feeling in Windows, so I just tried out the Web one.
I like the animation for the characters, especially how he brushes his hair off to attack. The room setting is nice, although a background for both the menu and the game (even just a solid color besides the default blue) would've helped.
I'm also getting a strange flickering every time I shoot, although it doesn't really harm the experience all that much. A good game.
