Brilliant game. The phone as a connection between worlds is simple yet elegant. Great ending too.

Brilliant game. The phone as a connection between worlds is simple yet elegant. Great ending too.
I think the giant levels were too much for my old computer. My frame rate was too low for me to properly review your game (I'll stay at N/A so that I do not affect your scores), but from what I did see, I saw a lot of effort. Great job!
Excellent game in every category. I love the pixel art.
The sound and animation when the Apollo dies is hilarious. It's a great tribute to Space Harrier, with a nod to Altered Beast.
I like the sound and animation when warping to another world. It reminds me of the old Atari games. Great implementation of the different game genres.
Very fun game. The combat is fluid and dynamic.
The music and UI create a great hacker mood. Great job!
I tried to open the game on my PC, but it would quit after the loading screen. I'm using an old computer with Windows XP though, which may explain it.
I left my ratings as N/A so that it does not affect your scores. Good luck
I tried opening the game, but each time, it would briefly display a window and then quit. I'm running and old machine with Windows XP.
I kept my ratings at N/A so as not to affect your scores.
Great concept and design. I feel like a finished an adventure game.
The pacing is done really well. The new colors are introduced at just the right time and do not become overwhelming. Great job!
I like that you start the game zoomed in. At first I thought I could only swallow asteroids to become a planet. Then when I zoomed out I was surprised that I could eat planets. Then I zoomed out again and was surprised that I could bully the sun by pushing it out of the solar system. Nice revenge story.
Great pixel art and animation
Great artwork. I like the pixelized style. Well done
Wonderful artwork and music. Very cinematic; I like the way everything forms from darkness to reality.
Soothing music!
Great use of parallax scrolling in the backgrounds. The pacing is a bit slow, but well done all around.
Fun game. I like the variety in the characters. Well done!
You have a good idea as a foundation. I recommend more spin on the moon to feel nunchaku-like and a warning indicator where the next asteroid is going to appear.
Great style. I like the idea of the aquatic planet with sharks.
Hi yodamaster. From your question on my game, I can't tell if you were able to play it. I responded to your question. Thanks
Fun game. It was satisfying to see my camp prosper. By the time I reached the win condition I was rolling in funds. It's good to be the admin.
Your log was an interesting read. It sounds like you got bit by feature-creep in the middle of development which caused you some stress later on.
Fun game. I think the constellation idea is a great and novel approach to the theme. Seeing the constellation change after each level was rewarding.
I like the epic feeling at the beginning when the player starts off near large pirate ships. It has a bit of a Star Wars feel to it.
It was hard to get used to the controls. When I press Q or E, it changes the axes in a way that eventually I don't know which way I'll turn when I press a direction.
Great job on the colorful graphics, though. Well done
@ JNyknn. Hi, thanks for reviewing my game. You didn't miss anything; my game has five levels. Due to time constraints, I had to make a choice of either creating more levels or creating backgrounds for my existing levels. I chose to make backgrounds (2 backgrounds for each level) to set a mood and show more distinction between the physical and spirit world. Though there are five levels, I'm hoping you will find that the backgrounds give them personality that make them distinct from each other.
Thanks again
@ yodamaster

Great character designs. Too bad I couldn't play as the green guy :) The slugs are well drawn too.
Amazing how much you created in 7 hours. I felt like I was playing Guitar Hero mixed with Canabalt. Great job!
I enjoyed trying out the various weapons to see what suits me. Well done on the terrain and pathfinding.
Great artwork and animation.
Great game. I had difficulty with connecting the mushrooms - I'm not sure why, but the concept is original.
Great graphics. Very well polished.
The artwork is well done. I also like the spinning globe.
This is the most humorous game I've played so far. I enjoyed seeing the result of combinations of words.
Very fun and brutal combat. I laughed out loud when the bandits blew themselves up.
Great graphics and music. I've been trying to drag the satellites so that they orbit another planet, but I'm having no luck - I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. But it was fun nonetheless.
Never mind my previous comment - I just realized that satellites are an upgrade.
Beautiful artwork. The animation for the player is also well done.
