*Additional Information : Need .Net Framework 4.0 and XNA.

logicielallan 2014-12-06 19:13

And to Select Unlocked Weapon : 0 / 1 / 2 Keys.

snowybirds 2014-12-07 13:10

Orange is a nice color... :)

ult 2014-12-07 20:14

Graphics feel pretty under average, gameplay feels uninspired, and sfx gets annoying.

logicielallan 2014-12-07 21:14

@SnowyBirds thank you ;)
@Ult Pixel my dear , Pixel , gameplay is simple : Attack everything you see , is that harder for you ? Pixel Game 8Bit Sfx that's simple.

hd_ 2014-12-08 07:52

It wasn't obvious at first that space bar needed to be hit repeatedly/rapidly. Something to help make the player understand would be an attack animation-- that way you can see pressing space = punching.

logicielallan 2014-12-08 08:53

@hd_ The ennemy life bar ;)

aeveis 2014-12-09 10:02

My score was 2960. I didn't know if there was any projectiles? My gun would fire but it wouldn't do any damage unless I was pressing space. I started getting pretty crazy with the giant zombies and then there was a big hammer?

esaygin 2014-12-09 10:05

Pretty

aslakhol 2014-12-09 10:08

I was pretty confused when playing, felt like I just stood still and spammed spacebar, and the sound effects where super loud and not very pleasant.

logicielallan 2014-12-09 12:46

@aeveis nice score ! ;) the character is a psychopath so yep the player must get crazy ;) and the big hammer is here for a little help.

@aslakhol Psychopathic sound effect ;)

retributionstudios 2014-12-09 12:50

It's a great game, but needs some development. Either way, nice work!

logicielallan 2014-12-09 13:29

@RetributionStudios thank you , that's why we add it to the Windows Store and Windows Phone Store , to be updated ;)

kawiteam 2014-12-09 13:34

Yeahh pretty but need some development ;) but yeah it's a jam! :D Nice work dude

logicielallan 2014-12-09 13:34

Thank you @KawiTeam ;)

joshua_burr 2014-12-09 13:38

The web version doesn't seem to exist.

skills641 2014-12-09 13:42

Can't download file

logicielallan 2014-12-09 13:46

@JoshuaBurr , they are no Web Version , it's just a link to the PC (desktop version) XNA has no Web Version.

@Skills641 tell where you have a problem on the download website.

gamedevextreme 2014-12-09 14:16

game not opening.

logicielallan 2014-12-09 14:17

@GameDevExtreme did you have .Net framwork 4.0 and XNA ?

maxyan 2014-12-09 14:34

Why did you add empty web link if the game has no web version at all?

logicielallan 2014-12-09 14:38

@maxyan I was thinking that the empty web link was removed , now it's removed.

mauris 2014-12-09 14:44

Nice little game) Little work on art and polishing will do the job.

logicielallan 2014-12-09 14:45

Thank you @mauris ;)

limeniusteam 2014-12-09 14:50

I think your link to Web is broken.

logicielallan 2014-12-09 14:53

@LimeniusTeam they are no Web version of the game. Only PC/WinStore and WinPhone.

madball 2014-12-09 15:09

This game is simple, but it's still pretty unintuitive. What weapons are unlocked at the moment? What does the blue bar in the top-right corner mean? What is that hammer? These questions should be answered somewhere!
Footsteps are completely unrealistic.
Also, 0-1-2 is not good, 0 is on the opposite side. 1-2-3 is better.
I liked varying enemies' names though, you put a bit of originality there.

logicielallan 2014-12-09 15:17

@Madball
1) weapons is unlocked following the number of the ennemy you killed.
2)blue bar is the ammo/fuel bar for the gun and chainsaw.
3)Pyschopath walk !
4)just for 0 you are mad ? it's not a dance game with 1-2-3 tcha tcha tcha !

spirulence 2014-12-09 15:56

for those of you who don't want to deal with filedropper: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/50754416/Hosted%20Files/LD31/Night%20of%20Slaughter.zip

indie4fun 2014-12-09 17:47

please, check the game. It hangs when I open the exe :(

logicielallan 2014-12-09 18:07

@indie4fun you must unzip it , and did you have .Net Framework 4.0 and XNA ?
@spirulence please remove the link , i didn't authorize you !

davient 2014-12-10 01:04

Lets see what's next. Oh a giant hammer!? Keep working on it :)

kitch 2014-12-10 03:11

Good job for a 9 hour project. Hit all the high points, sound, death effects and animation.

logicielallan 2014-12-10 11:32

@davient @Kitch thank you guys :)

creative-sectors 2014-12-10 17:31

Well, it's COOL for something that was made in 9 hours, 26 mins and 9 seconds. On the other hand, if you were working ~30 minutes more it could have been like 1000x better.
This is a JAM entry so people had like 62 hours more, minus sleep.
Sorry, but XNA and .net framework dependency isn't nice either. Dropbox is also a lot better to upload your game.

The graphics are "typical paint" and we have a black main character on a black background. About 1 minutes of work.

The audio was another weak point, you said it's 8bit, but 8bit doesn't mean you can't have a background music. Making a looped background music takes ~5 minutes.

Humor was fine, the names of the zombies made me laugh. X)

Kardfogú of Creative Sectors, out.

logicielallan 2014-12-10 18:42

@Creative Sectors 1) the short time was for breaking our personal score.
2) Paint.Net
3) Psychopath character with black clothes because it's night. what else ?.
4) background music with a psychopath character is not fine of my view for this game.
and thanks :)

taviandir 2014-12-10 21:40

The controls didnt feel like they did what you described :/

logicielallan 2014-12-10 23:03

@taviandir left is left , right is right , space is space , 0,1,2 is 0,1,2 , what's wrong ?

kualitygames 2014-12-12 20:42

The orange really makes the game stand out, which is nice. Still could've done a bit better. Overall a pretty fun game.

rjhelms 2014-12-12 20:58

The zombie names were great. This game has the right idea, but feels like a rush job - if you had taken the whole jam instead of just 9 hours I'm sure you'd have realized the potential a bit more.

logicielallan 2014-12-13 08:40

@Kuality Games thank you :)

@rjhelms it was a rush.

01rafael 2014-12-25 12:47

So lovely colors! I like it!

logicielallan 2014-12-26 09:28

Thanks 01rafael :)
