LD23 — Tiny World

Tiny's World by Topaz 2012-04-27T07:31:00

As I struggled with low FPS, I could not help thinking that pyglet or pysfml might have been a better fit for this game. I appreciated the music after having played so many games that were much poorer audio-wise! Congrats on having a mostly finished idea!

Tiny Religion by dagothig 2012-04-27T06:30:00

Very cute graphics. The humanoid sounds made me laugh! Kept wishing for some calm music to play. I played for a little while and then stopped when there was no obvious progression towards an ending.

Weird And Virtual Reality Emulated by Sempai 2012-04-27T06:42:00

Got it to work. Had to download the panda3d developer sdk:
http://www.panda3d.org/download.php?sdk&version=1.7.2
and then drop main.py from the source package onto C:\Panda3D-1.7.2\python\ppythonw.exe

I'm sorry to say that I did not enjoy the experience. Just the ability to remap the controls would have made a huge difference in my rating. They are not intuitive.

Through the Blue Sea by Sandcrawler 2012-04-27T07:25:00

Interesting concept! I kept trying to avoid the red splotchies until I realized they made it easier to win!

Virus Wars by Ingon 2012-04-27T06:51:00

Movement did not work for me. :/ My gamer skills are clearly not as good as those of invaderJim. :)

Mini Marauders! by Blinked 2012-04-27T07:35:00

This was HARD! Kudos for that. :) Also wished for some background music here. Well balanced, frantic.

LD26 — Minimalism

Church of Minimalism by kibertoad 2013-05-01T10:03:00

Leginar, we've just uploaded a Mac build that works over here on 10.8.3 with Java 6 only. Please let us know if that fixes your issue.

LD31 — Entire Game on One Screen

Toy House Attack by floorman 2014-12-10T19:51:00

Great concept. Tough! Nicely done graphics all around.

I've added some instructions to this page.

Thank you for the kind comments, everyone. If I could go back and add a visual tutorial to the game, I would. I expect I'll do this in the post-ld version.

Sorry guys, I'm on the free Cloud9 plan, and the workspace turns off after a week. I've restarted it.

Mazimon by The-Force 2014-12-10T19:45:00

The perfect small LD game idea, executed well. Great fun!

Snowmen King Of The Hill by xeon06 2014-12-10T19:39:00

I managed to stay alive for about 30 seconds, once. This is a lot of fun, and a great example of a simple Node.js multiplayer game. :)

Buck Blastem by raisedmedia 2014-12-10T19:55:00

The only bad thing I have to say is that the concept is pretty derivative. Still the most fun I've had yet with the LD games this year.

Treasure Quest by ruerob 2014-12-10T20:09:00

I really enjoyed this game. I was hoping for credits or something after the fade out at the end. Adorable! Fun!

LD32 — An Unconventional Weapon

TUNDRA by PaperBlurt 2015-05-08T18:28:00

This is a great adventure. Stunning what was done in just a weekend!

I would love to read more about the process for creating these - messed with Twine just a tiny bit a year or so ago, but I had never thought it was easy to integrate lots of JavaScript and highlighted maps, etc.
