Don't load :-< Black screen forever

ruthiepee 2014-12-09 02:50

Got a blank screen here too, in Chrome/Firefox/Safari. That's a shame, because I love adventure games and the thumbnail has such nice art!

ruerob 2014-12-09 02:50

Thank you for your comment digibody. What device and browser did you use to play?

karol 2014-12-09 02:56

Didn't work for me in Chrome. Worked fine in Firefox though.

Pretty nice game. The text could show up faster though and be easily dismissible. Waiting for it to show up was a bit annoying.

p1x3lruckus 2014-12-09 02:59

I'm on safari on mac with java 8 update 11, and it doesn't work for me.

ruerob 2014-12-09 03:00

Now it should work. Thank you for your help digibody, jrbitt and ruthiepee.

blzkz 2014-12-09 03:21

I love how it looks! Worked for me in chrome :)

arovoid 2014-12-09 03:21

Fun game, did not think I would be playing it this long :P. The text does scroll a bit slow.

cornflowerblue 2014-12-09 03:30

Very cute. I'm surprised you had time for some of this stuff.

muramasa 2014-12-09 03:36

I just got a problem, and that is that I don't even have a clue of what to do at the first screen just after seeing the intro. And the text bubble is so slow! And I can't skip it.
Other than that, it seems like a very cute game! And I like adventure games too, though I'm pretty bad at these "orz.

nelly 2014-12-09 06:49

this art is amazing) great work! P.S. It runs correctly.

cliffracerx 2014-12-09 06:52

Rather goofy but fun little game, nicely done!

Could use sound in a post-LD update.

esjaji 2014-12-09 13:59

I really like the adorable visuals! There's a few text glitches here and there, but otherwise I think it comes together rather well!

zkenshin 2014-12-10 01:54

Neat game, text was a bit hard to read.

hippolyta 2014-12-10 01:58

Looks and feels like a good old adventure back from the 80's. I like it a lot.
It would be nice if you could let the text scroll faster and add some sound :-)

Well done!

threstle 2014-12-10 10:26

I really love the visuals ! I wasn't able to go very far, but that may just be me being shitty at point & click games. ;) As other said, I think the text should be skippable.
Nice job !

bitserum 2014-12-10 10:36

Speech text is a bit slow, but really god job on everything else.
I find the little cuddly human very lovable :)

pulsartronic 2014-12-10 15:12

Very nice, and without violence :) ... worked for me Linux/Chrome

spirulence 2014-12-10 20:09

I really enjoyed this game. I was hoping for credits or something after the fade out at the end. Adorable! Fun!

demy 2014-12-10 21:05

Stuck after picking small rock from big one - i don't know what to do. Message boxes have glitches. The game looks nice anyway.

sorlok 2014-12-11 00:20

A good game, and very nice art + mood. However, I found the dialogue a bit long-winded. Either way, good job!

yodamaster 2014-12-11 00:59

Looks very promising, but I couldn't figure out what to do. The text is way too slow. Must be clickable to speed up.

insane66 2014-12-11 01:06

i like delousos

sebasrez 2014-12-11 15:34

I wasn't sure how to play :( but I really liked the storybook look to this game. Put a smile on my face!

asaratha 2014-12-11 20:33

Neat game, but the text is hard to read and scrolls very slowly. If text is scrolling and you initiate something that puts up text, the game will soft-lock.

the-arrival 2014-12-11 20:33

it crashed after a few minutes

redoxkun 2014-12-11 20:40

Very nice art, and nice story. The only problem is the text is a bit difficult to read.

night 2014-12-11 20:44

Hi! I enjoyed your game, very cute little story, thanks! But could you change font please? I didn't understand some words.

evanegibbs 2014-12-15 06:31

A lot of people mentioned that the text was really slow. I would have to agree! And it was a little hard to read. I liked the concept a lot! Just a one room point and click adventure. Perhaps a couple more clues on what to do when using the magnifying glass on some things. The dragon was really cute. :)

catwheel 2014-12-15 08:28

I had trouble playing this. A guide would really help. Even published Point n click adventure games usually have a walk through in case the player gets stuck.

coderdozer 2014-12-15 11:09

Nice simple game, I too could have done with more hints.

georgebroussard 2014-12-15 15:56

Nice job. It's cool that you and your wife worked on this together. Lots of good feedback above in terms of polish. Surprised anyone actually needed hints, everyone knows that in pt and click adventure games you just use every item with every other item :) I'd polish this up, incorporate feedback above and make another one. Seems like you guys found a good hobby.

HelkeGames 2014-12-16 22:01

Nice game! I like the concept and the gameplay! Well done!

coderdozer 2014-12-17 00:04

Hi, back again, just trying out the post jam version as I seen it on the front page and have to say the changes made a big difference, nicely done.

bconrad217 2014-12-18 23:07

A bit hard to read the text sometimes and a few other quirks but a fun little point-and-click never the less.

jupiter_hadley 2014-12-20 23:19

Post jam version is a big improvement. Cool game! I Included it in part 12 of my Ludum Dare 31 compilation video series, if you would like to check it out :) http://youtu.be/Wy_mvMH2L7Q

gamepopper 2014-12-21 19:25

Nice simple adventure game, good job. :)

2hitadam 2014-12-28 07:32

Everything about this is just super cute haha, well done. I didn't play the post-jam version so I won't critique anything you may have already fixed, but yeah it was nice and I liked the art. You should consider doing childrens books!

alwaysinbeta 2014-12-29 14:04

I liked the story. The feel was good but could be enhanced with some audio. I felt like some of the dialogue lasted too long.
