Never alone on this stupid screen by sam101 2014-12-08T04:03:00
Pretty cool idea, and well-executed!

Pretty cool idea, and well-executed!
This is the best I've seen yet this time around; great concept, and there's a full (if short) game there! I think level 3 is a bit of an early spike in the difficulty curve, 4 & 5 are comparatively simple.
Interesting concept, wish the view was more akin to the above screenshot, since it doesn't seem like position matters much outside initial placement. Day 1 was a breeze with a fully upgraded village, Day 2 was utter annhiliation, not really sure why!
I like the idea; wasn't able to get the tracks to turn, and backspace kept sending me to the previous page on my browser, unfortunately.
Great one! Not sure what to do after I walked away and the snow's filled the screen - will I ever get to see the battle with the warmbloods?
I found this, not even knowing it was yours! Definitely a standout with a lot of appeal.
Pretty cool take on the genre; slick interface for the time limit for sure!
It was odd to me to control movement with keyboard and fire with mouse. Also, no real clue what the black thing in the corner is? Laser seemed a bit needless, once I learned I could spam click.
Great game - you can tell a lot of work was put into this; looks wonderful and plays excellently!
Yeah, controls and movement are both the sticking points for me as well. Buttons seem a bit buggy as well, not resetting b/w lives and such.
Taking on 19 themes is ambitious for sure, but as with games with any length of development cycle, it can often just feel a bit unfocused and "what are the important things?" To me, the gameplay suffered for trying to fit too much in - there's not much excitement or fun trying to dodge the bots or get the package. Nonetheless, lots of great code and work in this, it's plain to see!
Definitely more intended for dual-stick, to my mind - I feel like keyboard movement and mouse shooting would have been a better control scheme. I'm on a desktop and got a lot of keyboard-lock problems nonetheless, I imagine most folks on laptops would have similar issues. Nevertheless, great game with a cool aesthetic, great feel, and easy to pick up!
I like the idea - it seems unbalanced in favor of the player, since you can always predict where they'll attack from and you can always have some of each weapon headed that way.
