Oh, this is wonderful. The aesthetic and theme obviously bring to mind Mini Metro, but this has a desperate tension all of its own. In Mini Metro, you get into spirals where you can't keep up with demand, until your metro overflows. This game is a constant juggling act where you wrestle with a tram system designed by someone who took to transport policy like Harold Shipman took to medicine. Sure, it's deceptively simple at first, but by the last level you're crashing trolleys togethers like a toddler in an ethics class. Sure, you could play it safe like it's a game of Rush Hour, but where's the fun in that? Stick a procedural generation system on in and pop it on mobile, I'd buy it in an instant.

Loved this. Gorgeous and enjoyable.
Absolutely stunningly beautiful, and I love the reference to a certain Swedish furniture giant! The graphics are crisp and clear, and the aesthetics are so peaceful its almost hypnotic - which did cause me to mess up some times. Although the gameplay smells of Mini Metro, it's still sort of its own. Excellent work for the timeframe of the jam. Looking forward to seeing where you will take this in the future because this is definitely worth taking further.

I see I'm not the only one to notice the Mini Metro inspiration here. The atmosphere of this game is wonderful. Very cohesive and very zen. Great polish and the theming around an Ikea style tutorial fits very well into this while also (just as why Ikea uses it) eliminating any language limitations. I'm sad there weren't more levels to play. Awesome entry.

The graphics and atmosphere are superb. A really clean and polished game, impressive for 72 hours.
It has really clear and easy to read instructions, but didn't come with an allen key. I think it got lost somewhere

Loved it. You'll probably already know, but it's quite easy to cheese the game and get through it in a boring way. Also the Linux version does not work for me: the process simply eats up a core without doing anything. I had to kill the application to stop it.
Very cool. I originally had a similar idea but could not settle on the graphics so I changed the idea to better suite the graphics I got. The simplicity of the aesthetics and the choice to make only the important things like the trains and passengers have color makes them pop really well and gives it a nice feel to it which is complemented by the soothing soundtrack. Nicely done

Graphics are superb! Can easily be expanded to a full game with more tracks/colours, and the mechanic lends itself well to mobile platforms. Gameplay wise, the stages can easily be completed by pausing all the trains from one track, then letting the other track complete first before resuming the other loop. Perhaps new mechanics can be introduced to add some challenge. Regardless, great entry!

This is the best I've played so far, I loved it from the time I saw the first screenshot, and it didn't disappoint. Graphics are beautiful, the music is very relaxing and I think the game perfectly captures the essence of being stuck on a loop.
If I had to critique one thing, it would be that the difficulty curve is a bit steep. I ended the first levels on the first try until the last one, which costed me a lot of tries (I think I made 6 or 7). For me it was a very relaxing experience (until the last level in which for a moment I felt frustrated trying to keep an eye on so many things). Nothing more to say, I think you're going to win at least in some of the categories. Congrats!
Wow simply amazing feel to this :thumbsup_tone1: Don't get the mini metro vibe that others got ... the only link seems to be the colored lines on black/white backdrop.. at least to me (haven't actually player mini metro tho... so only screenshots as point of reference)

Very cool! The visuals are totally on point, nice one! The gameplay is simple and relaxing but at the same time you have to stay focused, it's a good balance. One thing I realised that made it a bit easy was that once all the passengers on one line are gone, I could just stop all the trains on that track and just wait for the other one to finish. Would be good to try and think of a way to avoid that. Maybe each train can only be stopped for some time before it HAS TO move - like a bar that recharges whenever it is moving?
This is one of the best games for sure! I love the art style so much (the IKEA style instructions are fantaaastic), the whole mood, and how relaxing this is. Really charming game, well done. :)
Beautiful use of colours and black and white for some very striking visuals. Was a tad on the easy side once I figured out I could cheese it like some others have said but that should be easy enough to fix. Defo should consider a full release of an expanded version :)

Best game I have played. The only drawback is the amount of levels. Really love the art and sound design.
Hey @dustyroom !
Really nice entry !
The graphics are gorgeous, camera movements as well as train movements feel smooth and pleasing to the eye.
Most sounds do their job well, however the bell feels slightly too harsh for the mood (and since you hear it so often this can me a bit disturbing).
The learning curve is very welcoming with the first few levels allowing the player to take his time and experiment, until level 3-4 where things start to get tricky !
I really had a good time with this, keep up the great work !
Feel free to check and give me your opinion on my entry
Cheers
Damien
I dig the art style and the sound design. It makes the game really relaxing. To be perfectly honest, I was cheesing the whole time just to experience the atmosphere without having to stress about crashing :D I could see myself playing this even more with more refined mechanics. Well done!
Beautiful artwork and sound. Simple concept gets complicated quick. A real class act.

Incredible package. Every element, graphics, audio, gameplay, controls and ui all complement each other. Feels relaxing even when it is intense. Good work! The orthographic camera is really satisfying, and the detail level on the town is just right. The town has a very generous metro system taking people literally 10 metres away - great for accesibility!
Nice entry! I fell in love with the visuals and sound athmosphere.
Very relaxing and polished game, congrats :D
So cute visual style. Very nice control of trains and good level hardness. Awesome overall.
Really enjoyed the visual style, music, and mood for this game, so overall well done.
I think it would be good to have a bit more challenge, such as timing, or cars driving around that you don't control, as otherwise it seems you could just pause all trains of one colour out of the way and win without any challenge. (But maybe since the mood felt relaxed/low stress that was intended to be okay)

It was so fun to play! My mom played it too and she loved it :D I love your graphics and gameplay
This might be the most impressive game I have seen so far. It has everything, fun, balance, beautiful music and sound effects, good learning curve. I especially love easy to learn - difficult to master game design. Depth with simplicity approach is awesome. Amazing work.
@dustyroom as a big fan of your previous crafts and owner of cellshading asset you created for unity my opinion for sure is not objective. But I really love the style, it's amazing!

So the game is like another take on MiniMetro. At first I was thinking that the game will be about building tramways, but it's the other way around, which makes it also interesting! The visuals are gorgeous.
##### I honeslty think this is how IKEA Gaming department would look like if they make their games!

Art style is cool, on point 3D art and styling. The problem for me was it ended just when it got interesting. Also some minor tweek in mechanics like: only one train can be stopped at a time, would create much more gameplay depth
That is such a fantastic game. I love the unique, cute and cool art style. The calm mood, supported by the calm sound design is just wonderful. The gameplay is easy and relaxing, but also fun. For me, this is one of the winners of Ludum Dare 47!
PLEASE make more levels
Wow! The visual style on this game is incredible! Absolutely love the line art and simple colors, fantastic job! Plus, the gameplay loop is nice and simple, while still being challenging. great job!!
Wow!! really good entry for a jam game!!
Wow! What an amazingly polished game! I absolutely love the aesthetic and the sound design in this. Haven't really seen an art style like it!
And the gameplay required me to be alert / focus a lot more than expected. Great stuff!
Overall, fantastic work. I really enjoyed it!

I love the aesthetic, the concept and the polish. I also made a train game, but I prefer yours to mine tbh.
I feel like the only downside is that you can break the game by just stopping all trains of one color, let the other color pick everyone up and the inverse the process. The major issue with this is that once you know that, it's hard to play legit since there is no definitive line between "cheating" and playing fair. I guess you know minimetro, I'm thinking of something similar where more people get to the gare over time.
Stunning! Excellent mood.
Excellent game, relaxing yet stressful
