I liked it, but it was a bit repetitive and unfair. Dope is a good mechanic, and the art is awesome!

Game can get repetitive due to no difficulty increase (Spawn number of aliens), sometimes it feels unfair but thanks to the amount of healthpacks it's easy to go on, the thing is that there's no way to keep on going without getting hit, graphics were decent. Nice entry!

The art is great and charming, and the dope mechanic is great. If the pace was sped up and a bunch of juice was added it would be really good!

As said just above, the game lack a bit of pace, but the concept is good and the graphics are really nice, especially the gangster moon and the Earth face expressions ! :new_moon_with_face::head_bandage: The upgrades should have also been a bit faster to get in my opinion. I commit suicide when I reached this score (which is my best score then) :

I stayed in it for the dope upgrades which were fun to unlock. The waves/upgrades felt a little unbalanced; sometimes I was very unprepared for a wave and sometimes it was way too easy. Nice art, I love the sprite for the earth especially.

Cool game with great art!

The shift to slow down thing was an awkward solution. I guess it's tricky... you needed to let the player go really fast to get to the other side of the planet quickly, but also to move slowly to fine-tune aim. But maybe that could have been accomplished in a smoother way. Maybe a fast but non-zero rampup time on the rate of movement after I press the key, so quick taps of the key don't lurch instantly, but if I hold it I still get up to max speed really quick. Not sure, but the shift thing needs iterating imo.

But I loved the upgrade aspect and the slick presentation, and I had some fun with this one for a while! My high score was something close to 600 I think. Also the earth face getting more beat up was just great.

Nice entry.

Super cute game! The upgrade (i was only able to dope once) felt super fun and impactful.

To nitpick a bit, I felt that the difficulty curve could use some work, as sometimes early on things felt super unfair, whereas at later stages you would get times where almost nothing spawns.

Another thing that got me a bit (although this could just be because I suck) is that the shots were on the side of the moon, which took a bit to get used to.

All that being said, really great entry, pretty fun as well. Felt a bit like a variation of space invaders :)

This is a very nice game! I really love the graphics and the sounds. For the mechanics, I also think they are nice but some things could be improved. More feedback when attacking, receiving damage, the amount of bullets you can shoot could be increased or at least don't stop the bullets in the middle of the screen for no reason, not sure if there was a specific reason for this. Also, not sure if this is a matter of taste but the player with the gun in one side feels odd, did you try shooting from the middle of the character? I know that physically speaking it makes sense to have it as it is now but... not sure, could try some other options. Good mood in general and nice experince, good game.

Cool little wave defense game with cute art and lovely music. Controls are pretty responsive and there's enough enemy variety and fun upgrades, which are the main points for this type of game. As people already mentioned I think the player should be able to upgrade more easily and also maybe bump up the player projectile lifespan a bit, because as it is right now it's a bit unfair to fight against the ranged enemies since their projectiles reach you from afar but you can't shoot them back until they come closer. Anyway, good entry!

Cute graphics! I included it in my Ludum Dare 38 compilation [video series](https://youtu.be/NY55jLVxX30), if you’d like to take a look :)

Very interesting concept. I realy like the graphic! The game is pretty hard. You could maybe give a hint to player for knowing witch kind of alien is coming near the number of time.

The moon wielding two pistols, a pair of shades, and a dank cap...I can't even. This game is fantastic.

EDIT: Oh, and I made it to about 1000 points before finally failing to deal with a single lone UFO. This was user error. I was having too much fun spinning around shooting lasers everywhere and...missed.

I really liked the style of the game, and the gameplay itself was nice as well!
