@velvetlobster the LD page is not supposed to be live yet and shows as unpublished to me. How did you get here?
 I was looking for games to play browsing through the posts ... I think I found yours through a post you published  ping me when its ready
@velvetlobster The game is up now if you want to take a look :)
Super cool game, haven't got 5 stars yet but I'll keep on trying!
amazing graphics and sounds, great job and I enjoy the game loop.
The tutorial was nice but a lot of information to get at once. It might be better to incorporate aspects of it into the game so you can learn in realtime rather than by reading.
I liked the variety and types of placement issues that you had to try to solve. The visuals were pretty cohesive and effective.
It might have helped to give you a better idea of what stuff was losing you points by having some visual effects to indicate when someone was unhappy about something around them. I wasn't always sure what I had done wrong.
Cool concept!
That's a lovely concept for a game. I like how traits determine how the passengers feel on the ride. It's the classic stack stuff in tiny spaces concept, but a fresh take on it. You might want to check the fullscreen settings as it seems to stretch things out.
It is a fun game , really liked the concept.
Like the concept, fits the theme well, got 4.33 in the end. I can see the game working well expanded
Regarding points for improvement - I agree with tutorial being quite a lot, I would like more indication what is wrong within the bus. Also the process of putting people in the bus is a bit confusing due to perspective, maybe could be solved by highlighting which place you are putting the person into just clicking the place.
But overall a good entry, nice job
Had a rating of 1,96 lol :deer:
@stronf thanks for the feedback. We are aware that it could be more clear what seats are affected by which effect. We were thinking about adding some sort of particles or icons to show where it stinks or is noisy, but ultimately ran out of time. We're taking in the feedback and might make a small post-ld update with some quality of life changes ;)
This is such a good game! Had to read the tutorial twice to understand but once I did. Really enjoy the humour and when I recognised the music that the people were playing I chuckled. Always awesome to see a Linux port!
Cool little puzzle game! Great implementation of the theme and the art was really nice! Sometimes the placing the people was quite janky and a bit of a struggle. But overall it was smooth and enjoyable. Well done
What a great concept! I liked the texts for the different types of people. The graphics were nicely done and the gameplay was really smooth and simple. I'd like to know what the highest achievable rating is. Mine was a 2.78 I think. The only thing that bothered me was the music. The 5 second loop felt very repetitive after a minute.
Nice design! Very clean and thoughtful gameplay, I would even play this on my phone while sitting on the bus)
The art style is very "utility-first" and I like it a lot for that, there's a lot of clarity. I also like all the little descriptions for each type of passenger. This kind of management is not my forté though, and I only barely got a rating higher than 2 xwx
Very good entry!
Fits the theme, kind of difficult to get into but maybe with practise I'd get the hang of it.
Nice and complete entry, quite funny! As many people have said, what the game lacks most is obvious feedback. What areas are going to be affected by an effect is the main one, but for further quality of life, you might consider ease the access to the current ratings of the people and how many but stop they have left. Currently you need to hover to see it, and it impedes the player a little. If this information was readily available (through icons, color changes, particles, dialog bubble, etc...) the game would feel more like a big game of chess. But it's nit picking, because the entry is already well made on many other aspects.
Love this game! Very relatable to the bus experience. I had a bit of trouble occasionally with seating passengers, and a bit more challenge might be beneficial. But overall had a great time, love the art style as well!
Got a rating of 3,75, so average compute experience 😅. Great game with amazing graphics.
