Couldn't get it to load
In a way that I enjoyed but i would you to suggest rescale the game it was hard for me to follow the game.
Liked the idea of it and had a good time with it. Nice job!
Good game with interesting idea and good realisation
lova the atnosphere!
Loved this entry. Simple, yet effectively fun and relaxing.
I really like that your game makes me actually think! Also, i think it's not so obvious for the player to understand all creatures even after brief tutorial. But, as I said, that's a great example of puzzle game. I guess you are capable to release it in bigger form
This is a really cute game! The way the different animal behave is interesting and creates a unique puzzle mechanic!
I loved this game, great job!
And for anyone who can't get it to load, i managed to open it only in chrome.
That is a great entry and well made game. The polish was very good and I the puzzles were well thought out.
I like the art and animations, the sfx are good too
cool game with good binding to the theme....
Cant load in Firefox. Works in Chrome however. Nice relaxing atmosphere, maybe a little more guidance for the player would be nice, it was pretty hard for me to understand it in the first time. Really enjoyed, nice job!
Very clever mechanics. I really liked how all the animal types and items felt very intertwined.
@nuin, @the-hat-guy and @ekaktusz & other FireFox folk - really sorry about this - it works on FireFox for me. I did run into some issues running in Incognito / Private browsing where the game crashes after clicking through the tutorial boxes. I've just pushed up a new version that deals with localStorage access errors a bit more gracefully and I'm not seeing that error any more.
If you've got more info I'll try to take a look!
Really cute, fun and aesthetically minimalist.
Cool game, simple but effective
I felt like shepherd dog with his flock of very weird sheeps
Awesome game. Seems small, yet is full of content.
I really like the diversity of the mechanics, and that every level introduces something new and interesting.
Really great entry! There was a lot of content here with some interesting and engaging levels. My feedback for the game is: I wish the animals I was herding had some color differentiation, and sometimes they got stuck on walls from their pathfinding. Overall a fun entry, keep on making games!

Very cute creatures! I included it in my Ludum Dare 53 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. https://youtu.be/3W4lG4WsUMw
a nice game i love your characters. They are cute
Nice concept and nice game overall good job !
I love the soundtracks and aesthetic. Nice work!
nice game
This is very simple mechanics, but I like game process, good job!
nicely done, this game is surprisingly addictive. love the difficulty curve and the addition of new mechanics lvl by lvl. nice job!
Simple idea but funny game, nice work!
(I had to play it in Chrome, in Firefox never load)
This was pretty well done with having so many different behaviours and items interacting with each other! Pretty good idea for a more hands on puzzle game! Really well done!
I'm a fan of the tiny pixel art and simple animations. Great, simple game here with lots of unique mechanics on the different creatures. The interactions between the creatures was really cool to watch; you've got a little ecosystem going on.
Pretty nice game, I couldn't figure out how to direct the carnivores I just baited them with meat, then picked the meat up  Graphics and gameplay was nice, and it has quite a bit of levels. GJ!
Very cool puzzle concept! I really enjoyed playing. The graphics is simple but does its job well and the colors are very pleasant. I only think it would be better if the player sprite was a different color than the beasties - would be easier to locate yourself with a glance.
The game feels very polished and complete. Very nice job! You took a few simple and clear mechanics and really made them work together to make for interesting gameplay. I was even overjoyed to discover that I can push the creatures around if I want to save on bait (and for the pure fun of it :smiley_cat:).
Shame there is no downloadable version, as the web version has performance issues on latter levels. On level 7, I experienced enormous slowdown about half-way through (the game was running at something like 25% speed). Level 8 started fine, but the slowdown happened again, and finally it just stopped and threw a black screen. I was playing on Firefox.
This game is delightful! I feel quite invested in the lore and backstory tbh! The 2nd soundtrack was really good, maybe a good one to start with instead? Also I *think* the Curio beasts on level 2 stopped following me even when I caught their gaze at one point, I had to shove a couple into the village. I could be wrong though, all that heavy-lifting for no reason hehe! I wasn't able to find a fullscreen button, something I think would be great for the game seeing as everything is so small! The whistle sound effect is cute too, as are all of the monsters and animals! I'd love to see this expanded upon post-jam! Great job!
It was interesting and well made. I liked the art and sfx and how there is an ecosystem with creatures and that every creature has its own behavior, that's really cool! Also loved the attention to details, such as the quirky texts on the tutorial buttons and the fact that you added a music and sfx volume! I think the art could be a bit bigger though.
Great entry. Is it only a follow mechanism, or is there some flock mechanism as well? Fun to play with! Nice work.
I love this cute game! Really interesting!
Hi @kregames I think strictly speaking it is just following. Was pretty determined to experiment with some proper flocking sim stuff but I ended up going for something a bit simpler - I think as the game area's a bit limited so there aren't that many beasts around at any given time I ended up not thinking proper flocking would make enough of a difference for the time it'd take to code up. Definitely something I'm keeping in the back of my mind for some future game ideas though!
@aviv-levy @weirdbitgames desperately need to figure out how the camera controls in PixelBox work! Would loved to have had a sort of "zoomed in" mode to make some of the smaller bits a bit clearer for folks who prefer that. I've done a lot of tinkering with how PixelBox works so I'm not sure how all of that would end up going with the built in camera stuff.
@fabula-rasa I've got a Windows downloadable version now if that helps! I can't quite figure out getting builds for different OSes in Electron - also as it's Electron and running on a sort of Chromium sort of thing it might not help performance a great deal. I know there's a bug in there somewhere that results from creatures following each other in loops - I put in a few bits to try and protect against that but there are some cases that slip through the gaps! The edge detection on the islands is also horribly inefficient...
Glad you enjoyed it despite some performance problems though!
I hope you can figure it out for a post-jam version or even your next project. My advice is to google and/or ask in an appropriate forum or subreddit!
I really like the retro graphics and mood. Good job!
