Great game, good graphics and very fascinating!

I am really curious about how you achieve the smooth effect of switching the dynamic scenes(PS: I mean the programming logic), which brings a totally different experience for players. I have lots of fun when I play this game.Really amazing game.

Nice game. I guess just some problem with the camera clip, maybe you should set the value of near to lower.

greenphox 2023-10-03 12:45

Nice idea. The perspective tho made it very difficult to understand where each tile would land. Nice one!

nice graphics and animation effects. Was over before I knew it .. could use some gradually increase of spawning enemies. But I suck at shooters. Job well done!

Very captivating and nice approach to the theme! The camera rotation took me some getting used to. Also the way the environment assembles itself is technically impressive. Very well done!

ayced 2023-10-03 14:35

@mdotedot each stage (different environments) have a variety of settings and do gradually increase or sometimes decrease the spawn rate/density of enemies - however it may be hard to notice and its a bit tough to balance

Amazing game! The isometric camera made me a little confused with the depth at first, but after getting used to it, the gameplay was silky smooth! Really liked the controls, the level generation and the difficulty

Enjoyed this one.

Artwork, gameplay and mech--anics are unique.

Hard but rewarding once mastered.

Bit of a strange game here, the visuals are nice and crisp and make the combat pretty clear, but I think isometric is just not a good view point for an action game or twin stick shooter, at least not without a lot of care to make it feel right. Bullets are hard to aim and dodging is tricky, mainly cause of the isometric camera, and wobbling the isometric camera around as you move is a camera no-no I've never seen before, but it's definitely a no-no.

I really liked the variety of colors and environments as I progressed through, it kept me drawn in as I was curious to see the next biome, not sure what happened at the end, the final floor never came I guess, I fell down and the boss did as well and we both died and kinda broke the UI? It is what it is.

A nice submission and I think the world shifting mechanic was implemented pretty well, asside from visual issues caused by the isometric camera I think it's a pretty good submission, great work!

It was fun and dizzy at the same time. Falling blocks obstruct vision and I keeps getting disoriented all the time. That slight camera tilting on movement also made me feel nauseous. However I liked the idea of new colored regions and destruction of the previous one. It is the best moment to make a little break before the next wave of enemies. Nice job!

Very cool game ! Enjoyed beating big Bob, game feel is good, enemies are well made, I liked that we have to search for health bonus and keep moving, stages ambiance and difficulty are also pleasant.

Only issues were the camera a little weird sometimes when it change the angle and the jump sometimes throwing me on platform that just spawned in air and ending in void.

Otherwise really good graphics, nice fights and good game ! With weapon powerup it would have been perfect !

I like the isometric look, not so much the falling terrain blocking my view that came as a symptom of the isometric look, though @w@ it was a little disorienting for me. There was not much feedback for my character being hit, I was not keeping an eye on my healthbar and I died without realizing I was even too low!

Really fun game! I liked the enemy design, they kinda reminded me of Total Annihilation's K-Bots.

The progression is done pretty nicely, with each new enemy adding a new challenge to avoid or defeat. The perspective makes it a bit difficult to aim perfectly, but I think it's something I'm getting used to the longer I play it, so I don't think it's a big problem. One thing that I think is a problem is the world / camera wobbliness. I'm not one to get motion sickness from playing games, but that made me understand those who do.

The idea of changing biomes is great. It took me longer than I'd care to admit to figure out I should move to the other color before the first one falls down, in my defense I'm playing it pretty late in the day and am tired. :P I liked the wintery biome the most, it's shown there's a lot of room for level variation in this idea.

Nice work on the audio side of the game, too. The sounds are pretty good, and the music track is really fitting for this type of game.

So far I only just made it to Big Bob, but I guess his days will be numbered when I get some rest and try this again tomorrow.

I had a lot of fun playing this game! It was well balanced and had very fun action. I found it easy to understand what to do and the controls were responsive. I loved the progression to different levels and the end boss was really fun. Cool how you foreshadowed Big Bob with the smaller cubes throughout the game!

Good use of colors by the way, I liked the changing color palettes between the levels, they all looked good and it was fun to see the progression.

mistercarson 2023-10-07 15:38

The visuals and audio are really fun, and the gameplay in general is super responsive which makes it really fun to play. The main drawback for me is how disorientating the isometric view is. I know other people have addressed this in other comments, but I actually don't mind the isometric view. The main problem comes from jumping not feeling like your leaving the ground since there isn't anything (like a shadow) that portrays your distance from the ground. This is seperate from the isometric view, but some sort of indicator that the ground is going away apart from the ground shaking since it's hard to see that.

Cool game. I like the art style and the lasers feel really good. I found the isomorphic camera and the ground flying in front of the player a bit annoying but apart from that great game. :)
