A very relaxing game, with amazing art, congrats!
The difficulty felt very fine-tuned! The levels near the end took several tries to beat, but never felt out of reach. Great job!
QQ截图20240417115410.png Amazing animation! Good work!
I love the art in general, it really goes well with the theme, creating this sort of futuristic japanese lore. The movement also feel really fluid. and it feels good to have the wolfdog fight alongside us.
omg i really like atmosphere in this game, im ready to play it all day!
Oh, I love it. Fun little game, lovely graphics
The sound design and art style of this game were really well done! Nothing really felt numb because the sounds made it clear that something was happening. I don't know if I was either not using the summoning correctly or what, but I felt as if I would complete 80% of a stage on my own until the summons finally become useful, and then I'd have to start over on the next stage. Overall, great game! Nice job!
Awesome great feel, nicely polished. Had fun with it. I can imagine playing such a game more as a couch multiplayer game.
One of the best entry so far. The only pain point is that enemies are a bit too bulky in my opinion
great vibes, really love the overall gameplay and once I got how to use the blade and the summoning order it felt pretty good. do think a dash would be lovely, I kept pressing shift as it felt like there would be one :) excelent game! also so pretty
I like the aesthetic, and abilities are nice too! Would've been nice if there was a movement ability though
very fun, i like it. love the hyper light drifter-esque art!
@landerack thank you. if i ever do a followup, i'll definitely consider some movement options.
Pretty fun stuff! I did enjoy learning the mechanics, and smooth controls. Everything was tight, but the single movement pattern for the enemy did wear on me. There's also the sort of all or nothing play-style that emerges when you are fighting a bunch of red enemies. If the pack touches you at all it's an instakill. Could be nice to have some invulnerable frames when you take a hit, or another way to reduce the importance of swooping around at a somewhat plodding pace. I know it's pretty tired but some sort of dodge roll could really make moving more interesting.
I love the clean pixel art and the de-saturated color scheme is really nice. Congrats on completing the jam!!
Man this is very fun!! Great job, the shooting is very juicy! And the controls are tight. Artwork is on point, highly rated :)
Very nice art. I had fun playing.
Fantastic looking game, and fun to play on top, nice job!
Beatiful sprites and animations! Those monsters looked creepy af
Thanks for submitting your game to the stream! If you wanted to watch it again in the future heres the vod of the stream (with a chapter for your game)

And I'm the host for the ludum dare score chasers tournament this Ludum Dare. Wanted to ask if youre fine if I put some gameplay of the game in an intermission video. Last year for reference:

@ategon hey thanks again for trying it out. totally fine with it being used for the video.
I could tell this was meant to be a lot more than it ended up being because the art was nice, the sounds were nice but the gameplay felt incomplete. I managed to get through 5 or 6 six stages before stopping so it was fun enough! I don't really see the point of the summons tho, by the time i got the wolf i was basically already done with each stage. Nice entry tho, would love to see your next one!
You kinda know it's gona be a good time if you can go "brrrrr" in the first 5 seconds. Most fun I've had this jam!
