Love the Concept and the Mood :)
A very calm fun game! It feels a bit like the beginning of Spore and also a bit like Lost Ember. I can see this as a great mobile game with motion steering (is it called like that?).
It was really satisfying to see how my hoomans defeated the enemy hoomans!
real nice game overall, the map felt a bit to big but from time to time but it gave an introspective & southint take on the game
Thanks! I was intending it to be a more relaxing game so I'm glad that's coming across. My concern is that it can still be a bit intense, especially if you start running short on hoomans - but there's only so much time in a jam. And on that note, that's a good point, @grotfang. I tried to balance the size of the turtle, feeling of vastness in the ocean, and movement speed. Thanks for you comments and playing :D
Very casual game, with excellent level design. Well done!
Very cool concept! I imagine it being very epic with a graphics and controls update.
Very nice!
I love how the enemy ships sank, it made defeating them feel very satisfying.
Very nice game idea, I think you managed to balance it well between being challenging and a relaxing experience!
Whoa, this is really charming and fun! It's kind of like the Waterworld version of Bad North. I'd love to see you expand this concept even more. If you add more features after the jam, it'd be fun to be able to add defenses to the turtle (like a barrier the hoomans can hide behind), range/damage upgrades, safe points to drop off some of your crew at the end of a chapter/area, and some more bosses that could require a certain level of upgrades or a certain crew loadout. Very nice work on doing all the code/visuals yourself!

i enjoyed the idea of humans as basically ammo. i have a poor sense of direction, so i forgot which way i was supposed to go, but it never became a problem since the game felt nice and relaxing.
Wow I almost missed this game! Its one of the ones I played entirely through. Very calming and fun little entry!
Well done - super relaxing and visually pleasing.
I don't really have anything to add - I think I would have preferred the old-style tank controls for controlling the turtle (I think i'm just old though, and most people today like the WASD controls as you have them). Also, I couldn't figure out if I was able to dodge the arrows or if they always hit regarding of what happens visually? Does it help to try and circle the boats as the silly hoomans are fight?
Great entry!

What a beautiful, chill experience! I loved the graphics, the gameplay was straightforward yet remained fun for the short playtime, and the whole thing felt smooth and polished. I also thought the music and background ambient noise suited the vibes perfectly.
This was such an unexpectedly relaxing experience! I loved the mood and the water made out of voronoi noise
Thanks all for playing! I'm so glad people are enjoying the game  I was so worried about people getting soft-locked if they lost too many hoomans. No one's mentioned it yet, so hopefully it's not too bad :fingers_crossed: @lintfordpickle Arrows are shot where the archer expects the target to be so there's no guarantee of a hit. That means the further away you are and the faster you move, the less likely your hoomans are to get hit. I would always circle the boats when I was playing (though that was also based on earlier strategies where the hoomans were far worse marksmen)
