Super great idea and what a nice look ! Golf + exploration + a bit of exploration is a win for me. Only point for me was maybe music a bit too strong, but that's because I would have love to enjoy more grass footsteps and golf ball sounds :)
Really interesting concept of golf and exploration! The 10 second rule seems to work well here. It's let down a bit by the physics of the golf ball - it felt like it was on ice, skidding away faster than I could run, which meant a lot of the exploration was frantic, which was at odds with the otherwise relaxing visuals and style. It also felt harsh to go right back to the beginning when the ball dropped off the edge - maybe it could have left me near to where the ball fell. The environment was really nicely designed - a lovely mix of 2D and 3D elements
very nice looking game. The music was cool too. I wish I was better at this. I felt there was lots more to adventure to. Great one! Contratulations.
Really innovative, like the use of 10 seconds - almost makes it feel like you're running out of air between shots. Agree with another comment about it being slightly harsh (although there are checkpoints) -- maybe you could respawn where you initially took the shot from?
A couple of times the character struggled to get over a bridge -- obviously that's something you could easily iron out with a bit more time to polish.
Great job!
Wow! It reminded me a bit of Golf Story, using the peaceful game of golf in new ways. The graphics were gorgeous, and even though the music got repetitive it did a good job setting the scene of the game. Nicely done!
Really enjoyed exploring! Graphics look solid, feels nice. I kept getting stuck on some of the bridges, even ones without stuff on them. Definitely something I'd play more of if you were to expand on it! Good work.
I'll be honest. I didn't think I was gonna like this. Turns out I simply went to the "easteregg island" first and was left somewhat confused, but when I started going down the correct path, I'm happy to say I was quickly proven wrong. Still, the ten second timer didn't seem like an issue, when would I ever be in a situation where that timer would get even close to zero? Then I got to the part where you have to jump several islands to reach the ball, and I saw the number two hover over it. Pretty close call! That's not the only time you are forced to part ways with your ball for a longer time, but it was the most impactful, and I loved it. The fact that you had to shoot the ball in a specific way, then walk/jump your own path before being able to reunite with the ball, great stuff!
It was right at the end I started wondering, "Ok, but where is this going". The obvious answer was right around the corner, and I realised; "Wait a minute, is it going to tell me how many shots I took??" The number 70 made me quickly refresh the page, and now, after a couple more tries, I'm happy with 17.
Some relaxing music in the background for this is always nice. The graphics are alright, and even though you mentioned it worked better with a controller, and I can see why that would be the case, I ended up using keyboard, honestly works just fine. Again, loved the puzzle/platform elements. Very nicely done!
A differnt way to look at the theme. Good idea.
a bit hard to get the strongness to the ball i want (playing with keyboard) but a interesting gamplay !
Art and music are really great !

I like the idea of mashing gold together with other ideas. A lot of the assets are very cute.
What a cool game. This is one of my favorites so far :)
Great music, solid golf mechanics, neat puzzle elements. Took me awhile to understand at first but once I did I was hooked. Wonderful job
Nice idea but it was really hard to control with a keyboard. I guess it needs an alternative way for those devices.
Wow that's great! I really think you can build something much bigger with this concept. The controls are great, the platforming section to join the ball in 10 seconds really is a clever idea and I like the art and the music! Congrats!
Beautiful game! This is really stunning for the limited time you had, I'm impressed! Also a fresh idea, I don't think I've seen a golf game in a jam before. I had a weird thing with the controls though. Where you have to jump multiple islands, I fell off so often because the character wouldn't jump. I think it was when I pressed too many keys at once (keyboard) or something like that. So I stopped before every jump and pressed space exclusively before going in the direciton. This made the timing harder, but at least it was doable then. :)
Great idea and cool take on the theme! I had to play w. keys, so maybe this was the reason the controls and physics felt a bit unpredictable. The environment and player visuals are somewhat at odds, with some polish this could be a very fun game. Very good entry
