lmao this game is awesome, its just so much fun to push people around and it really is way too relatable The artwork is gorgeous too and the goofiness of it all is just too much. I can't rate it yet but thats a 5/5 for me

Kicking people into a cramped train is a really funny time waster - especially with the impactful controls :D
I had a problem on the ldjam site with the viewport being inset a little bit - but it works flawless on itch.io!

It's not a huge score, but I had fun, graphically it's very beautiful. Afterwards I would have liked to see some events or others to shake things up a little.
Just sit back, relax and enjoy the delicious feeling of kicking someone's ass onto a crowded train. Everything perfectly balanced, the art combining with the music and sound effects, the animations and visual effects, everything makes for a complete and fun experience, a truly incredible work!

Hilarious game! Got up to eight trains, after that the blonde tough guys were having none of my kicking anymore.
Loved trying out different strategies dealing with the passenger increase, trying a strategy more focused on pushing, one focused on getting people to the front before the train arrives, there's a lot of room for strategy in there, it's wonderful. Super juicy and satisfying to kick/play, looks great, sounds great, really amazing all around! Great work!

I was playing this all the way through with a big grin on my face, at the start of every round I said to myself this is so silly. Great jam! :smiley:
Very well executed and simple concept (if not a little horrifying!) Art looks fantastic and the kicking and shoving is very satisfying. The ball of people is hilariously grotesque. Only thing I found myself wishing for was some sort of meter to show how charged my kick was. Wasn't sure how long I needed to hold it down for full power. Anyways, great job!

Two things that would enhance the experience for me :): - It would be great if people were engaged in some activity, such as talking to each other or simply strolling, to justify the fact that they're not boarding the train and that you have to push them. - I think using a more upbeat/punchy music would enhance the experience. Perhaps a 150bmp chiptune-like song?

@quentinvlf hey thanks for the suggestions! I kinda did the music in a rush and I'm don't have much experience with composing. But an upbeat music would be nice!
This is great! I also feel the charge kick is missing the feedback for when it's maxed. But that ball of people though :laughing:
hahah this is fantastic! i absolutely love how absurd this game is, and my god, what is that horrific blob of human beings in the train car. this was great, absolutely loved it. my only piece of criticism: it would be nice to have a "pull" action. a couple of times i accidentally pushed people into the corner and couldnt get them out. great job! :D

Looks great, and very funny idea :) Well done. The only nitpick I have is about the controls. It seems to only work with QWERTY keyboard layouts, and the arrow keys don't work. It would be great to either have arrow keys mapped, or use physical keys, so that AZERTY and other layouts are natural to play. I see you used Godot. It supports this out of the box. Great entry otherwise. GG.

Very cute! Wonder if you played Cab Ride for PICO-8. Reminded me of it (due to the passengers/train theme, pixel art and the color palette) felt like I'm playing that game from another perspective

Strangely cathartic gameplay! Nice pixel graphics, though the music got a bit annoying. Good work.
This is cute! I love this kind of pixel-3d style. The game feel with the sound effects and screen shake and stuff was also nice.
Think I kicked someone through the train :laughing: game would not count them as in the train - really funny though.
Loved the art and the sounds were okay too.

This is ridiculous and fun, love it. If it wasn't so funny that ball of.... people...sticking out of the side of the train would fit right into a horror game.
Really cool entry! I really love the art and the sfx are really great. I do wish there was more variation to the gameplay, what you have right now is fun but doesn't feel very challenging, I just play the same way every round until there's just not enough time to get the round done. A very solid compo entry nonetheless, very well done!!
The concept of this game is really interesting! Fitting passengers into a limited carriage space. At the same time, the game's graphics and mechanics are very good.

The game controls well! The gameplay loop is pretty addictive and I can see myself playing this for a while. i'd like to see this expanded upon with more types of passengers and possibly some other obstacles. it would also be nice if you could add some kinda visual indication for when the kick charge is at max level!

Very entertaining game! It really helps to reduce stress, lol. I've noticed that different passengers seem to require varying amounts of pushes to move the same distance. Is this actually the case, or is it just my perception?
ROFL 😄 The graphics and humor of this game are top notch 👍 It is a bit repetitive, but for a compo entry I take my hat off to you! I love the passenger blob stuck in the door.

@nan-kang Thanks :smile: Yeah there are 4 types of passengers with the heaviest one being the sumo guys. It does get harder to push & kick some passengers
