A difficult game for me! It was interesting though. I think you have something, though I'd probably need you to reduce the resolution a bit or something so it's easier to tell when to throw things and stuff. In general, though, I think you have a pretty cool idea, almost like a Paper Boy but for pizzas.
Very cool. The bike could probably do with a faster acceleration and air control with A and D would be more intuitive.
Great entry, song got me hooked instantly. I really enjoy the good old sidescroller games where you need to balance your car/bike. The graphics look also very goood. Its funny to bait the crows with pizza and shooting them down.

@karlthecool Since I added tilt at the very end I already had accel with A and D, but you're right, it makes more sense that way

Great game! I think the jumps could be a bit more powerful, but that would be my only critique. Overall, I think you nailed the difficulty by requiring two different mouse inputs all while controlling the bike.
Thanks @jakeblake. At first I had the jump even less powerful, but the rocks were to hard to avoid. I still want to simplify the last of the game, as having to deal with the bike not tilting and killing you at the same time of killing birds and delivering packages is a little bit challenging.
Surprisingly fun and bangin soundtrack. I think there needs to be a penalty for just spamming the pizzas cos that was my strategy lol
@peterfiftyfour Thanks for the feedback. There isn't an explicit penaly, however you get a lot less point depending on the accuaracy of the pizzas (shoots vs hits) and also a lot less points when a birds steals them. Glad you liked it.
It took a few tries to understand how things behave, but it was very fast. Music is excellent and the game was fun! I can only also agree with the acceleration being a little too slow.
Wow, so complete! Great music! Love this kind of 2D cycle/motorcycle mechanic! It was a bit counter-intuitive for me to press down to lift the front wheel up. It's very hard to shoot the crows and then deliver pizzas at the speed, easier to deliver pizzas also to crows hehe
the music was cool. made me restart and play again even if i was bad and playing. the movement is kind of stiff when controlling with A-D. but hey you made this in 48 hours, which is amazing.

really cool game, especially the music. playing on a laptop is kinda annoying since i need to use the trackpad to aim and shoot, and the camera moving so much when you move the mouse is a little bit disorienting, but i imagine these wouldn't be big problems if playing on a desktop. the art is really cool too, good game!
Nice solid game. Control of bike is little tricky when it's on air, but it is part of common challenge. Great job!

Great submission! This would've been a game I played all of the time back in grade school haha. I do wish the tilting was more responsive, felt a bit delayed, but effective. I think the game could've worked without shooting the enemies since you already have to shoot all of that 'za

Amazing. Such a fun game, loved the music and gameplay, replayed a fair few times, will defiantly come back and play this again.
Music is excellent! Unfortunately I couldn't get far enough to shoot anything, but I appreciate the work done from what I could see! 😀
Cool game. I like the way you deliver pizza as the bullet, elegant! However, I think the control experience should be enhanced! If you are tired, you can come and enjoy my delivery, haha.
This game is incredible. Took a second to understand the controls, but after that it felt really rewarding to balance shooting birds, slinging pizza and not going head over ass
I felt like the braking was a little bit slow especially if you picked up any moderate speed, but other than that i really loved this one! great job!
Difficult, but still really fun. Physics are really good too. The jump didn't respond always. Other than that really solid entry! :pizza:
Thank you guys for all the feedback. I see that the tilting, speed and brakes were not properly tuned. In the future I'll dedicate more time to that. Glad most of you were able to enjoy it.
excellent work! art was really nice, controls were responsive (a bit odd because i usually use W and S to move forward/backward, not A and S, but i got used to it), animations were nice, and i love the fact that many variables are used in the final score.

Wow, I didn't expect this game to be so great judging from the cover! Absolutely top tier entry for a compo game.
Cool concept, the mechanics is solid, the control is smooth, plus the excellent soundtrack. Everything makes the game so satisfying.

Tricky, but fun game! I like the additional challenge of needing to balance the bike, but there was so much to worry about that I didn't really ever press the go faster button.
The crow stealing the pizza is a fun little detail. Maybe it can be more interesting to have more of a cooldown on the pizza so there's more of a need to aim rather than spam.

Very clean game for a compo entry, quite complete with good minimalist pixel art and nice music.
As others mentioned before, I think using W/S for Forward/Brake and A/D to tilt would have felt more natural. The controls lacked a bit in reactivity for that kind of game as in the bike's acceleration is way too slow and feels too linear, going from 0kmh to 30kmh takes something like 3s when it should be 1s max (bikes & scooters are usually great at accelerating as they're light). When you lose speed cause of an obstacle or a bad jump, it is too punishing as it takes forever to get the speed back up. The bike's weight seems to be too much on the front side too, so you always have to tilt with A to counterbalance it.
Still, other than those points, great compo entry.
