Intresting concept, but the controll is a bit of laggy so it takes me several times to beat the green rock
Yea the laggy controls are a bit meh but the concept of a small boss fight itself is very cool.
Nice concept, the controls are kind of laggy sometimes, but there is potential.
Cool concept! Control is not polished, but still managed to win the game.
thanks for everything for the answers (づ ᴗ _ᴗ)づ♡, I will take note that the player controller does not respond well and there is a delay.
Don't know about why people are talking about laggy controls, for me they where fine (felt like darksouls/eldenring type controls). Got stuck a few times in the bosses attack so I couldn't move out of the way.
@sbackman,(˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶) as far as I understand, the problem here is that I set a slightly longer delay when exiting the attack animation, so for many it looks like a delay in control. About stanlock i added an invulnerability timer after taking damage, but it seems too short
same issue with the control but loved the concept!
I defeated the virus and rescued the body! My final strategy was always going around in circles, if it's on the lower platforms, I went counterclockwise for the left one and clockwise for the right one to get away from the spinning attacks faster. The designs of the main character, its animations and the virus/virus attack look cool. I also liked how you managed to fit the tutorial in naturally with the wall blocking the way and the required jump there, I thought that was very well done. Great job on the game! I had lots of fun playing it!
The positives: - First off, I LOVE the animations. All the movement and actions looked super smooth and polished - The movement was very kinetic. I would have almost liked a bit of a platforming section before the boss to play around - The subtle sound effects were nice. Having even little footfalls and punching efforts breathed a lot of life into it - The boss was pretty fun to fight. A classic hit and run boss which was made more challenging by the animation lock
What could be improved: - I loved the sound effects for the player, and would have liked some for the bosses attacks - I did get stuck once on a tentacle spawn point - I was never really sure when I got hit with the boss's attacks. Some kind of feedback like a color flash or some knock back would be fun
As for the controls, they lock you down in place, but I didnt hate that. Made it a bit more strategic when to attack.
All in all great game for 48 hours!!
THOSE TENTACLES MANNNNNN
MANN I loved those animations!! Congrats! Sleep well since it looks like you didn't sleep for this (same situation) Nice concept, I liked it !!
The animations are really cool. I like the vibe of it. Interesting boss fight mechanic but sometimes you can get stuck in place. Lack of music or background audio is a bit offputting though
Oh, I'm so grateful for your feedback! (づ ᴗ _ᴗ)づ♡ This is my first game that I have published on the Internet, and I am very pleased to hear your positive words and criticism, whatever it may be. (T▽T) P.s my interface is buggy, so there are empty comments from me here. I do not know how to delete them. therefore, I will decorate them
-----Words of gratitude-----

Animations are really fluid, but controls could use some work  Also boss health indications would be great to have. Overall a great first gamejam entry!
i always got stuck instead or ran((
Not to beat the dead horse... but the controls. Stopping the move while the attack is going and not being able to cancel the attack make it feel super clunky. Outside of that it was smooth.
The punch has a bit of delay due to the animation, that may be the reason it feels laggy to some.
Because I like the controls a lot. Moving and jumping feels great. And the details: The little slide when the player stops. The jump height depends on how long I press the jump key. The player animations are awesome, too. The three-punch combo is great. Does it do more damage, though? i couldn't tell.
It would have been cool to have a longer platformer sequence before the boss fight to make more use of the jump'n' mechanics which are really well done.
I really liked the game and the idea, it's pretty funny!
This game was really fun, It took me a couple tries but I was able to defeat the Virus in the end.
I really like the animations on the player character, the combo looks really fluid and natural. Same with the running and jumping animations - they flow really nicely!
The boss was the right mix of challenging but not too punishing in my opinion, it was quite rewarding to fight it after I got a feel for it's attacks and patterns.
Overall, I think this is a really good entry and I had a blast playing it. Thanks!
Always great to see Godot 🚀
I like how the character looks/moves. The combo animation is also pretty cool!
The difficulty of the boss was pretty fair IMO: I lost a couple times but it was due to my own greed haha, which is something to be expected.
Awesome entry, especially considering it's your first published game in a jam. Good job!
I like the animation!
Animation cool !
动作系统非常出色The game's action system is excellent
Very unique art style, but the control experience is a bit slow. I think it can be optimized.
I liked the idea and design! Small freezes after an attack are annoying, and I would like to have an attack option in the form of a key on the keyboard.
