Very simple game with a perfectly matching 1-bit style! I especially like how the health slowly regenerates over time, so early mistakes don't drag you down.

Well executed simple premise with solid 1-bit artwork! Movement feels nice and responsive, I never felt like it was the games fault when I would smack into an obstacle and it has that almost tetris effect where I can imagine if I played this for a while and walked away, I'd be seeing a knight falling down everywhere/the world scrolling down. Great job at utilising the theme and I can see this being a fun mobile game with gyro control for extra difficulty. Wonderful job! (and I love the humour filled beginning of the game, being kicked down, it's a small touch but it adds so much!)

I love the Simplicity

Created an account here just so I could rate it. Very elegant execution of the theme, with smart design choices along the way. Great job!

Very cool take on a 3 lane infinite scroller, the vibe and theme are great, the sound is simple but efective, gets a bit repetitive but not in a bad way, a gorgeous execution, loved it!

Very cute style and sounds, they match perfectly. During the game though, it's a bit hard on the eyes, all the moving small white pixels. Other than that, great jam!

fun game where you can properly just zone out for ages playing it

would have liked to have seen another mechanic or something to keep things fresher on longer runs but the artwork and sense of speed are really good

The art style looks very nice! I really enjoy 1-bit pixel art lol. Good Job!

Really nice 1-bit art style! Be a little bit more carefull with the audio, though... The "blips" warning the spawn of new platforms almost kill me xD

Cute game, good work)

manurgamedev 2021-04-28 19:15

Simple and efficient. With some 8 bit tunes you can make a cool mood.

A nice ironical homage to downwell. What I would add is more challenge over time and new mechanics to support this challenge, like dash or wall slide.

Geee - this game is great! is simple but fun I like how you can just gain lifes by playing more. I would say it lacks some juice (camera shake, particles, y'know) but this is just polish and me being picky, the game is great, you could expand the idea a little more and have and even more complex game. Also music would have been great.

Overall, great graphics, mood and game! Great job!

melon-spirit 2021-04-30 01:11

Nice game. I enjoyed the beginning animation when you get kicked off by your buddy. At first I thought you were supposed to avoid all the little clouds on the way down, so maybe there is a way to make it more obvious that you those don't hurt you. Also, it could use some music to go with the sound effects. Good job!

mighty-mufflon-games 2021-04-30 08:56

Solid entry. I had my fun with it. I thought the platforms were going to spawn faster after a while, but the spawn speed went up and down, didn't it?

tris250 2021-05-02 17:43

This game is a lot of fun, the graphics are super nice, great pixel art, well done.

nsadie 2021-05-06 19:13

Great pixel art and smooth movement controls! I missed a little splash of colour and some more complexity as you go deeper would be nice.

bobafett89 2021-05-09 14:07

Nice little simple game.

hobzone 2021-05-09 22:46

Cool and simple game, I liked it a lot.

I think allowing the player to heal over time made the game way too easy. I decided to end my run- I didn't lose the game. In any case, here's my score:

The indicators of incoming hazards is great! (because I've played similar games this jam with no such indicators) This is a well made game, i just think the endless nature with the player healing over time is a bit unneeded, and it can drag the run on longer than it needs to be.
