Okay - continuing from the stream. I really really like the combination of a gardening mechanic with exploration. As I said, it felt very slime rancher to me. I think if the level design were smoothed out, a little easier around the beginning area, it'd feel really fun! As is I have trouble wanting to keep playing because moving between just the start area and anywhere else is a little tedious. Curious what it'd look like with those planned features!

I wasn't really able to get past the first area, but I liked the art style. Glad to see this done with Godot engine.
@brusi yeah sadly I only had like an hour to do level design. If you'd like to see more, the post jam version has level design tweaks to help with getting out of the starting area, a fix to an issue where one of the plants was missing and improved menus.
Very nice! I liked the bubbly art style, and the main character is adorable! My laptop couldn't run the game very well, so the platforming was a bit difficult for me, but thankfully the checkpoints were very forgiving!
In the end I managed to get 12/16 fruits and vegs, so I think that's a success! (Finding new ones for every season was fun, but I kinda lost track which ones I already had, so maybe some checklist would be nice!)

At first try i couldn't get very far, then went back and read instructions and found the run button (sigh) the gamepad mapping was a bit unexpected I think so didn't find it naturally. Sort of fun to hop around and explore but a bit lacking in feeling of reward for making it to other areas. The art style is really cute and works great and the audio fits nicely too. Could have done with more incentivising of the farming aspect. Anyway great job on getting so visually appealing up in the time. Solid effort.

That was really cute! A few things hampered my enjoyment: overly sensitive mouse made KB playing a slight doozy as it was easy to accidentally just make your camera go wild. I encountered a bug where after I planted all my plants in a row, once one turned into a fruit ALL my plants POOFED out of existence, leaving me with just one fruit.
When I ate the fruit it just.. disappeared, so left me feeling like I went through the trouble of platforming without any satisfying reward. I wish the fruit eating gave a noise or a "yipee!" or *something* from our cute character.
That aside, I still had fun. :)
really cute and fun experience, I like it has farming, resource management and platforming all at the same time, did you make this all by yourself ? I gotta admite that's really impressive, the modeling is done really well with the character's face animations lol and the music could use some mastering here and there but it sound really nice with the game, love and the jazzy fanciness going on lol. and of course the game itself is really nice, well done!

The graphics and mood are really cute. Got kind of confused when it got to actually advancing, but its a nice entry(^:
I like the cute graphics and sounds. The platforming was more difficult than I expected or wanted out of a chill gardening game, and the mouse sensitivity was like 20x too high :dizzy_face:
I think that hooking up the correct assets is totally allowed in a mid-jam patch (without needing to declare a post-jam version). Thanks for the neat game!

Cool, relaxing gameplay and charming graphics, cozy music and mood, with cute character too! Maybe it will be easier to navigate if the camera view is fixed at top down. Nice work!

It's okay if your game doesn't have a goal, the journey can be more satisfying than the destination.
I really liked the game, because it was absolutely cute. I mean I smiled just by hearing the "yeepee" when the character jumped for the first time. I really liked that little smile she did when she jumped as well ! The music is smooth and relaxing which fit perfectly here !
I explored all of that little world and it was satisfying.
The only part I'm saddened about is the lack of utility of the fruits you can plant. It feels like the game doesn't suits the theme of the game jam at all, to be honest. Yes, stuff is happening every 10 seconds, but it change in now way the gameplay.
But I'd really like you to not focus on that and keep improving that game because I'd very much enjoy revisit it whenever you ad more content to it !

That was fun. Nice mood. Figured out I could use my plants to skip parts of the platforming, which I really enjoyed. If you expand on the concept I think that would be a cool thing to focus on. Re-doing the platforming was a bit tedious to gather a nice stash of seeds, so the skip was nice. Great mood. Wish I could I have adjusted mouse sensitivity.
