Awesome concept and great execution.
Wow! Love the robot's art-style. The game feels really polished!
And after a few tries I even got the secret ending. igXXTS785d.png
Great job!
Nice game! Great use of the theme.
I really missed a more precise indication of the time left for an action to repeat. I mean, the bars are little and it's a bit hard to get the timing right. A little "3/2/1" counter over each bar when it's almost empty would help.
@foulkes-art Thanks so much!
@dodori Ohhh I was wondering how long it would take someone to post a screenshot of that :) Nice job!
@igor-kingamer Thanks for the feedback! Totally agreed, we tried adding a little *blip-blip* visual pulse counting down 3-2-1 before the action happens, but even then it's also hard to tell which order they're going to happen when there's multiple
Very well done with this game! The mechanic is very easy to understand, and taught well in the first few levels. I got used to saving my inputs like a limited resource, which is a clever use of the theme! The second to last level I cheesed by finding an easy solution to the left, I hope that was at least a bit intentional!
The little jokes were very nice, wow! The last level showing a message behind the blocks was a very cute touch. Great work!
@toppervideogames Ohhh, good catch! I made some last minute edits to that level and hadn't noticed you could jump-nudge your way up there. Just tried it out, not intentional, but I'm delighted you found an unintended solution :D
Doesn't seem to work on Firefox but I booted it up in Edge and it ran fine. Fun stuff! I wish the walkspeed was a little faster but I get that's the only way to really make 10 second loops work properly. Overall a neat use of the theme, and the character art is cute :)
I demand my secret ending prize!
Eye-cutting colors of bg sprites, but character is very cute )) Well done!
Really creative concept and an impressive amount of levels for a jam. Well done!
I really dig the art style. The concept was really neat and made for fun puzzles. I like some of the little touches like the bars pulsing just before running out.
The only minor thing that annoyed me was how the "thank you" level made you spend like a minute walking back to try again if you messed up.
Overall I think this was a great entry. Good work here!
Beat it (and got the secret ending)! I love this concept, and I thought you guys did a great job exploring the different ways the core mechanics could be used as well including an impressive amount of levels. Speaking of, the level-design was top notch, and I would love to see this concept explored even further with more mechanics!
@spudboy Ah thanks for the heads up! I'll have to take a look and added a note about the lack of Firefox compatibility! Your secret ending prize is credit for the bugspot in our description, does that count? :D
@sublustris One of the last things that got cut was some additional variation and dressing for the background squares- glad you like the character!
@roka-josh Thanks! Really enjoyed your game as well :)
@empty-set Thanks! And agreed, I love working with @mishoulin, their art makes me really happy :D That's a really good point about the Thank You level, I didn't *really* intend people to try to finish it, but so many of the people commenting went through with it! It should have a little shortcut...
@waffleworksgames Thank you so much! Also a huge fan of your entry! Also if you have any ideas for additional mechanics (player actions or environmental interactions) we could explore, I'd love the input!
the concept is really cool and you did well with the level design. I also like the mood of the game with the cool music and the graphics. The only thing that is bothering me is the speed of the player it feels like it's way too slow. Apart from that, it's fun to play, good job!
good stuff! A bit too easy. nice graphics and atmosphere! Would have been interesting to try a variant with way higher pace and more level complexity.
@alpharock6 Hmm, maybe a horizontal dash mechanic or some kind of vertical projectile?
All 5 stars! This is the most awesome game I've played this time! It's even better than mine!)
Nice concept and really quite a few levels. There was also a lot of variation inthe levels. Good bgm and cute graphics. Well done. Great entry.
Really loved the little robot! So cute! A nice puzzle game, I got to the first ending and didn't try hard enough to get to the last portal! I had fun though!! :D
Really liked the mechanics of the game and the well-thought puzzle levels! Would love to see this expanded in the future somehow, 'cause I think it can be explored more! Also really liked the hand-drawn type of art style of the game, kudos to the artist!
Very cool concept, well executed! The graphics are super nice, well done!
This is really well made! The mechanics are deceptively simple, but you've managed to make some really clever levels to really test the players planning and timing, without overloading with too much info and gameplay systems to interact with! We also had a concept where you program bots with actions, but you took it in a very different direction, and I think your puzzles are more successful! Really well done!
Unique and well executed idea, levels are well thought out and explore the mechanics in interesting ways. Art is nice too
Cool! I also found the cheese on the penultimate level, and I'm going to have to come back later to try to finish the last one (so take this comment with a grain of salt), but I think the difficulty level is spot-on for a game this size. The puzzles seem to have a good balance of requiring planning and execution (i.e. thinking about the level before you start doing things, and actually pulling off what you thought about). They may be a little on the 'too easy' side on their own, but to me this feels like the intro levels to a game where the puzzles would get really hard, really quickly.
Love the art style!
