Solid stuff, I like it.

terry-crow 2023-05-02 02:27

Lovely and detailed pixel art, comfortable and dynamic music, simple and interesting gameplay, well done!

tycoonbelle 2023-05-02 02:29

Cute game, feels good to play

f1tzy 2023-05-02 02:29

I love this, so simple and complete. Nice work.

guin36 2023-05-02 02:30

Being a witch is hard. I bumped so many innocent pedestrians and can no longer afford to go to college. Will they let me continue being a witch with so many misdemeanors on my record?

mikyll 2023-05-02 02:30

It's really cute and feels extremely nice to play. I also love the graphics and the audio :)

tommeh 2023-05-02 02:34

Incredible pixel art. Was really comfy playing and flying around delivering stuff. Great Job!

aristorat 2023-05-02 02:46

Fun! The flying felt very good

jitspoe 2023-05-02 03:30

Pretty polished entry! Loved that you could hit pedestrians and such. Wasn't expecting that level of detail. Would be nice if there were some sort of time limit or escalating difficulty or winning condition, though. Touching the ground and walking at a slow rate felt a little jarring. Well done overall, though!

silvio 2023-05-02 11:39

nice :)

joaopbax 2023-05-02 22:02

I loved how the controls felt, you guys really nailed how it would (probably, I guess) feel to control a flying broom. Who never wanted to be a little witch that works in a delivery service?

thegameoverguy 2023-05-02 22:06

Very lovely :) The flying feels great by the way, nice work with that!

dan-allison 2023-05-02 22:09

This was good fun, felt really good to drop off on order, swing back up and fly straight into the next one (Or maybe a pedestrian instead...). Love the art and the the music was catchy too. Shop fronts was a nice detail but I don't remember Kiki's Delivery Service having this many strip clubs and gun shops...

One thing I would change is to make the delivery/pick up spots stand out a little, was hard to see sometimes when you're moving full speed but that's a very minor thing for a jam. Good job!

kyoryucomic 2023-05-02 22:19

very cute game, controls were fun and I like the concept

brahgold 2023-05-02 22:56

I'm glad to see someone else going with a Kiki-inspired theme although the gig-worker twist was something of a downer. The game felt good and looked great. I do wish it had some sort of end goal to give it a clear and satisfying ending, but I guess that's not very gig-economy. Nice work!

perryseity 2023-05-03 00:52

SO cute! The arrow changing color for delivery was a simple and easy way to know where to go. For some reason, I was delighted that I could land/walk on the ground. The music and graphics were very cute!

blue-pin-studio 2023-05-03 01:24

Awesome entry! I had a good time playing, i managed to rack up a loooooot of tips :)

Some small things that i think can improve the game a lot : - Make the scene night time instead. There are awesome neon signs that would definitely look better against a black background - Remove the big wall of text at the beginning, i think the game doesn't really need explaining. Its simply flying from point A to point B :)

Great entry, hope to see more of y'all next time around

1tater-no-tots 2023-05-03 06:43

Fun game! The tipping is brutal, this city delivery gig is rough for these witches. The low amount of money gratification adds a neat emotional twist on the Kiki idea.

gog 2023-05-03 06:50

Loved this!

protowlf 2023-05-03 07:36

Super charming and fun! I really like the addition of avoiding pedestrians, made me have to be careful each time I flew near the floor.

I love the procedural generation, it's impressive! Great idea putting an explore mode in to see different cities. Great job!

rincs 2023-05-03 08:08

Lovely pixel art~! I did wish that there was just a little bit more to the gameplay or perhaps a rising difficulty.

teddyreid 2023-05-03 11:42

Controls are good. Just the right amount of intertia when trying to turn around in the air. A neat upgrade would be the ability to dismount in midair so you could fall to street level and walk to deliver a package.

Pixel art is obviously extremely strong here - great stuff. Getting big Kiki's Delivery Service vibes from it.

mkraw 2023-05-03 11:42

I like how the player controls

almaz 2023-05-03 11:56

Very nice visual. I liked your implementation of the theme! But the control seemed a little uncomfortable to me, I would like the witch's stop to be more abrupt.

marzenie 2023-05-03 12:24

Absolutely adorable and cute! <3

lightpotato 2023-05-03 12:42

That was cute, the story and the little detail when hitting a pedestrian adds a charm to this game. Guess it could have increasing difficulty over time so that the game feels more dynamic, nice job :)

joao-marcello 2023-05-03 12:58

Nice controls and beautiful pixel art. Also, your game fits perfectly the theme. Run over the pedestrians added a great touch to your game.

But I misses some objective after a while as the game was a bit too easy...

fabula-rasa 2023-05-03 14:06

I'm not sure if there is some end goal or is it endless? If it's endless, the difficulty should ramp up or something to that effect. It doesn't seem like it does, and as a result, you start feeling like you are just going through the motions after a while. Perfect metaphor for the tediousness and hopelessness of gig economy, by the way

The game is quite cute, and the core gameplay is solid. It's fun to play for a while - bump some drones, deliver some kebab. Flying around feels smooth and well-implemented. And I bet it would be fun in the long run with some ramping difficulty - introduce additional obstacles, decrease time you have for delivery, make the witch drunk, so the controls are reversed for a while  etc.

I like the attention to detail. Like the fact that the windows ready to accept delivery open. Overall, a nice jam game!

I got to almost 60 bucks, decided I'm rich now, and quit my job

nice game with a lot of little detail like the fact you walk when on top of building and nice art ! I think adding some color to these buildings would have been a great addition :) that gray saddened me a little visually ^^

spacemyname 2023-05-03 16:54

Love the art style!

runicpixels 2023-05-03 21:06

Really cute witch themed game, I like that there's both walking and flying, which is a nice level of polish! Overall a nice game loop and nice to play!

zerfalex 2023-05-04 19:32

Lovely game, the sprites are super cute, and the detail of having different packages for each store is awesome! I think you could have more obstacles as time progresses to make it more difficult.

polite-prinny 2023-05-05 12:00

they like their witches ¯\\\_(ツ)\_/¯

aurailus 2023-05-05 17:17

This is a cute little game! The social commentary is amusing, the mechanics are fun. Dogs booped: 4. I think it would have been nice to only show the drop-off points after you get to the pick-up point for a package, as once things got a bit more busy I kept getting distracted by drop-off points I couldn't do anything at yet. The procedurally generated (I think) environments are really cool! Great job!

badcop 2023-05-06 11:41

hi! you submitted this game on my stream and I played through it :)

I waited until I had over $34. I love the polish and the humor, and the art is gorgeous, but the game lacks something to keep the player going, like multiple stages or a progressive difficulty ramp-up. I understand why you spent more time on PCG though, as it's more fun to make

My city was from Blue Archive apparently: Untitled.png

themule 2023-05-07 23:03

Hey great job! You and I had similar game design, but you managed to have a backstory, music, and very cute pixel art!! I really appreciate the attention to details, (like landing and walking, bumping into pedestrians, the delivery windows open/close, etc), it makes it feel like a contained little world

tomssuli 2023-05-08 18:35

Nice and polished pixelart game! Graphics were great, music was nice and gameplay good. Although the gameplay didn't change and I felt I could have done that all day. There could have been some target or alternatively difficulty curve and highscores.

alchemic 2023-05-09 06:56

This is pretty great! Witch girl is maximum cute!

Loved looking at all the signs on the buildings. I appreciate the procgen implemented here.

I like the music!

justcamh 2023-05-10 15:01

Wow, so many various little mechanics in this, though I can't help but feel the time could've been better spent elsewhere in the game. Whilst proc-gen, walking, and pedestrians all make the world feel I suppose a bit more alive, they didn't really impact the game much, and could've either been more important mechanics, or be cut in favour of others. Still though, you have done great building up your world, and bonking random pedestrians is pretty funny. Here's a link to the stream vod if you wanna rewatch;

weirdbitgames 2023-05-11 20:52

Is it weird that I get Rampage vibes from this? I think it's the sprite style and the buildings. I really liked this and the arrows/instructions were super simple to follow too!

fluburbio 2023-05-14 22:53

Kiki was the first thing I thought about too! Your game is really effective, the controls have just the right amount of slippery-ness 😁 The explore mode is an excellent addition, since just flying around is a lot of fun too. Great work!

reef 2023-05-15 04:57

Aw, this is so good! It's very similar to my game! I think the controls are good, they are loose without feeling too sloppy, that's something I felt was important to a game like this. I appreciate the challenge of avoiding the pedestrians but also being able to walk past them to avoid bouncing off them when trying to get to a shop adds a little strategy. I like how complete it feels and how much personality it has!

david-yates 2023-05-19 14:31

Very nice work. The pixel art graphics are great with lively animations and a lot of amusing little details. The music was just the right balance between energising and calming. I liked the optional interactions, like knocking over pedestrians, and the little details like the package being carried, or how the witch would hop off her broom and walk at street level and on roof tops. Seems like these people are very lazy though, not even able to walk down a couple flights of stairs to get their parcels. :p

The text in the intro screen was a little blurry, but still readable. A nice extra detail would be if you could have some extra acknowledgement of a package being picked up or delivered -- a text popup with some dialogue, a small face appearing at a window, that sort of thing, just to make it feel more like you're delivering packages and not just flying to random spots on the map.

tanis 2023-05-20 08:21

Cute graphics! I found it a bit hard to see the targets as they don't stand out that much... without the arrows pointing to where I should have picked up the packages or where I should deliver them it would have been really hard.
