Super happy with my game!
This is really fun! I could see this being a mobile game too. The instructions are a little confusing, but I figured out how to play pretty quickly.
I didn't know what the Super did until after I died, it could be nice if there was an on-screen indicator on the edges letting you know to hit them.
@masterfulmonkey Already playing:) . Thanks for the feedback hope to implement it .
Fun, funny, the audio is fantastic!!!
@nicole-ham Thank you I put a lot of effort in it :)
 Excelent game!
Come back later for a good rating
@fifut Thank you for playing!
Amazing ! I agree, the audio is fantastic, and the game is great !

aaah i can't manage to put myself on the top 10 leaderboard hahaha
i totally see how our games are related. i loved playing yours, it is funny how it's a mix of fast and slow pace. i really liked the simple art (but i'm not a fan of the font however), great job!
Really fun, good looking graphics and the core idea itself is pretty sweet but there was something wrong about how it controls. Maybe the line you drag should snap on to your cube? Trying to figure out where the cube is vs where I clicked vs where I want it to go was a bit confusing.
- Awesome music - Super stylish - Highscores!
Most polished game I tried so far. You know how to make it juicy!
Awesome little games, graphics, music and "juicyness" are top notch! Congrats!
This game is ridiculously good. The visual effects. The slow motion aiming. The hitstop. The voice lines. The yellow squares. The leaderboard. Excellent work!
Hmm, missed the super. Good game, fits the theme. Nice mechanics, is it always better to go slow to have more time to react?
This game is so fun that i actually had to stop myself from playing it to be able to rate other games. It definitely would be a good mobile game!
@amarokczukay thank you for the rating ! Keep combo up en try to hit 2 or more blocks will boost your score quickly.
@kasmilus than you for the feedback. The line to the block is the angle and the length the power. This is so you can click everywhere otherwise you get stuck on the wall/darkness.
@xinux thank you for your rating ! I’ll rate your game later today :)
@cleitoneldorn thank you for your time to rate my game. I’ll try and rate yours soon .
@cronno thank you those kind words mean a lot!
@pe7e when you kill 3 pink blocks you get a super then you can hit a darkness wall and knock it back :) Thank you for the review!
@raassh23 your game is also great ! Couldn’t get as far on your leaderboard (darned)
@senso with only 2 points difference, maybe you could surpass me if you play it one more time hahaha
@raassh23 🏆1st
Super nice concept, very polished and super juicy!
@2thegamechanger Thank you i wanted to try the juicy ! Thank you for the feedback/rating.
This game was godlike! Very fun and polished
@halvardo13 Godlike oh my thank you!
Incredible what can be achieved in 48 hours alone! This game just feels too polished for that :D
You really got me hooked with the mechanics. At the beginning I did not understand how this could be deep gameplay, but then I realized the the full potential of the time slowing!
@bumble Thank you , i worked like 32a33 hours of the 48 :)
This was a super polished entry but I wish it explained the controls a bit better! BUT, when you get it, YOU GET IT. It's so good, good job man!
The level of polish is incredible for the amount of time given. I was doing terribly at the start, but managed to make it onto the leaderboard after taking the time to actually read what the different blocks do.
Super proud of you. Keep up the great work 💖
(Also, I'd delete the malicious leaderboard entries)
Super Fun! My only complaint is that I thought you avoided the red squares. oops
This was really fun! Reminds me of an addictive mobile game. I wish I could see myself slightly better when I was combo-ing like crazy but aside from that awesome job!
@daveranan you are a UX’ designer so could have done a better job at the tutorial page I can only imagine. Your game looks sick dude. Thanx for the review.
@teamldm thank you for those kind words they really mean a lot!
@lucaszoom thank you for playing my game . I could have done a better job with the tutorial page . You pressed I get it :)
@mayple keeping the combo alive is satisfying indeed but I get killed also by being to eager to keep it up . Thanx for the vote !
Fun concept and cool controls. I loved the music track also. Took me a while to realize that not using the controls helped a bit. Often your success or failure seems to be luck of the draw with what squares get shot at you, but strategic use of your pink power helps. Fun one! Nice job.
@dob thank thank you for playing. The skill you gain is succes or failure later on :) The slowmow in particular helps so much .
Yoo super cool and polished entry, +1 for your own top-notch voiceover ! Made it to the top 10 >:)
@aznoqmous Thank you for the posative feedback and congratulations on reaching the top 10; that's a fantastic achievement. It's great to see that the competition is getting tougher each day! 😄
- I liked the art and sounds, getting multi-kills was satisfying - After some multi-kills it could be hard to see the player with all the debris flying around - At first I thought you sometimes randomly bounce off of enemies, then I figured you bounce off when going at high speed and go through when going slowly, which fells weird. - At the very beginning I thought you had to drag the player object, which I found to be hard, then I figured I can click anywhere on the screen.
Very tight controls, cool minimalistic visual style. Mechanics are well thought out. I had more fun trying to get to the end with least amount of points though. Possible alternative game mode maybe?
Only issue I had with is that it is hard to see my cube sometimes.
@ellaris thank you for the feedback. The bleu block bounce you back the rest you slice trough.
@jormarysky thank you for taking the time to play my game and leaving me feedback. Alternative mode (good one )
@senso I'm glad to hear that you're happy with your game. So am I to be honest.
Thank you for listing the tools you used to create your game. Maybe I need to include such a list too; I learned about a couple of things from the others this jam. For instance, I always used sfxr, but apparently there is also a bfxr which has more features.
Now, regarding the game. Even the itch io page is fancy. I personally don't like that pixel-style font as it's not very readable, but I guess it fits the overall style. :)
The music is... great. It's so much better than something I can make it's somewhat embarrassing. I need to get better on this front. :D Have you used Chiptone to create it? I may give it a try. How much time did it take to make it? I would also like to watch a video how you created that music track. The good music adds so much to the experience so I'm really interested how to create a good music in such limited time.
The voices in the game be like: "double kil... ouch ouch ouch" xD Tons of fun.
This game is hard to play with a touchpad (at least for me). I guess that's to be expected from a game like that. I had to take my lil old mouse to do it properly. :D
The online leaderboard... I can't even believe it's real. :D Lemme try submitting some score... And holy cow, it works. I managed to get somewhere around the rank=25. :D How did you manage to make a server for a compo game, that IS impressive.
When the field became so small I was so excited when it grown back for a while. This is a cool touch.
I think this is one of the best compo games I played this far.
Also, thank you for playing my game. :3
Wait, it also works for the mobile devices?
N-nani?! ... Masaka!
@quasilyte the person how did a rts compo :) I see you taken the time to write a good feedback . Much appreciate that. The music is made mostly in Ableton live . This programme is super but payed . The melody I find easy in chiptone (all took about an hour) then I divided to split the audio and make it 3 layers witch activate on hoger combo level to add juice to the game . So in this case 3 tracks play at the same time. I fade them in and out.
Most time went in the polish. Explosions Side walls Tweaking slow The hit pause / flash and sound. 2 hours recording voices and redo them over and over.
The online highscore whas actually pretty simple ( I have a db) website I don’t use. Have to admit that I followed a guide to get the logic going. ( I’m not a wizkid).
This game is really fun. The controls feel nice to use with a mouse and I like the visual and audio feedback you get from hitting the boxes. The blue boxes are actually a really good addition, they make the game quite challenging but sometimes you can pull off cool trick shots that net you a lot of boxes. I also like how you make the walls continuously close in which makes the gameplay more intense, when you have a smaller space you really have to strategically plan out your shots. The only part I found confusing was the super bar has four bars when you only need to his three pink squares. Great game!
@thewinrawr you got me on the 3 pink ones I changed this like 3 min for deadline because it was a little to challenging for new players . I played the game 10 hours so for me it was easy. I forgot to remove 1 line.
@quasilyte yes it works on mobile but on no way did I optimize it for that so I don’t recommend it.
@senso I haven't tried it on mobile myself, but my friend said it's working. :D He was just amazed by the game just like I was. (Yes, I shared the game in a couple of chats as an example of a very polished compo game :D)
@quasilyte thank you for that !
That was super fun to play!! Control is super responsive and gameplay is hectic (in good way) Great work!!
@rezistor thank you for the kind words!
This game feels really good when playing. Sometimes it is a bit hard to see the cube after hitting something. But I really enjoyed the game. Well done!
I played it on mobile. Somehow there was no music, but it was SO MUCH FUN! The Speed, Layout, the combometer… everything is nicely done. It should be a mobile Game! Would be Great!
@meru I did not make it for mobile (iPhone) no sound I guess. Touch controls need work for it to feel great. Glad you still liked it. I’ll try in a few weeks to make a mobile version of it .
@crygos the cubes path needs to be on your mind to not make a mistake when you go fast. Thank you for te rating !
Man, I can't believe this was a compo game. It's so perfect, I love the voice over and the sound effects, really over the top in a good way! Once I got a hang on the controls I was having a lot of fun playing it! Really impressive, amazing work! :)
nice !
00861 Rude screen 04-10-2023 06-40-08.png This is just great.I don't know what else to say *Mention me if anyone dares to break my record* :sunglasses:
@guzman oh wow 😮 ok will do. Man you good.
THE JUICE! cant believe this was compo the polish is unreal, amazing work and great job the audio and visuals are amazing and the controls are tight and responsive it was .... SUPER
Very cool! I need to come back to it when I'm on a computer with a mouse, not a trackpad!
@phillip-scott Thank thank you for playing and trying to beat the score !
@seb-degraff yes plz do :) thank for the rating !
I tried this on my ipad and it worked really well - if you made it into an app i'd buy it :)
@peremily i can try and do that :) thank you !
Just a little bit competitive!

I honestly have no words to describe how good and addictive this game is!
Very nice! The gameplay was super easy to pick up and it was great fun. The UI was very polished and the game had great feedback. It felt really good to play. I did make the mistake of assuming you had to click and drag on the square to launch it, as soon as I realized you can click anywhere I did another playthrough and the moment-to-moment gameplay was really incredible. I agree with the other comments that this would be a great mobile game and it's also a really good browser game. Really well done, I had a ton of playing!
Super fun! Very easy to pickup, and addicting. I kept wanting to raise my score
Oh my god the voice overs are absolutely insane! I love love love the snappy gameplay!
Nice, that is fun! Feels super good to play. The mechanics are similar to Fruit Ninja, but very well implemented Great submisson!
@victor-perotto-pioner super score! Ty for playing my game.
@rcxa thank you for the feedback. Now I have to consider mobile with a lot of people saying it.
@janet-lin Thank you for the rating. Happy you liked it.
@mehul thank you for playing and leaving me some kind words!
@haydads Oh my ,compare my game to Fruit Ninja . Thank you for the generous compliment!
This is so awesome!!! haha no way will i reach the top 10 highscores LOL
This could also be reall fun in like a 'relax' mode where the camera zooms out -- or even just if the game play area is infintely large -- could be a cool livestream where no-one even needs to play, just watch the lil guy meander thru space, accidentally getting combos just by existing! haha!
PS, what tool did you use for the leaderboards?
@avi Thank you for the good idea. Need to find some time I’ll try and make a relaxing mode :)
The leaderboard is just some php files I made in nodepad. Then on an empty db I put a table with the tools from provider. Then in game use Ajax at the right events.
My arm hurts so bad right now 00870 Darkviolet screen 04-10-2023 17-26-36.png
@guzman Just OMG !
i am absolutely terrible at this game, but it feels/looks/sounds great!
Has a good amount of juice going for it. Nods to super hot with the audio bytes? Found the drag indicator a bit counter intuitive to begin, but got used to it pretty fast!
@badcop When I saw you play on stream, you gave me the idea of implementing the choice to move towards the marker or away from the marker. Thank you for that.
@honest-dan Now that you mention it, I can see the minor resemblance, but Superhot is so much better!" 😄
You're a wizard with particles my good sir~✨ https://youtu.be/JLQtx8iEAOE
@jerem-watts The thumpnail is Golden! Thank you for playing and the feedback!
Nice concept, simple and well done perfect for scoring !
Very addictive mechanics. Only thing I miss is volume control. (And understanding how to play it good)
Cheers to Guzman
Incredible result in the compo! I wish you only victory!
The visuals are so phenomenal! It's soo addicting. I am absolutely obsessed with the colour scheme as well. Amazing job!
Absoutely love the narration. Like a dubbed Halo narrator. Nice execution on a great design.
Super fun and addictive. Quite polished indeed. I do agree that it is sometimes very hard to see the main cube with all the particles, but you can always stop or slow down until the storm clears. I think it would be nice if there was also another button beside the mouse one that does the same action since pressing and holding the mouse button gets tedious after a while. Fantastic game nonetheless. Excellent work!
@robowarrior1982 Thank you for playing , hope to score indeed :)
@yogurtthehorse Thank for the feedback. Yes a menu for volume control would be good.
@portalis Thank you so much!
@pichiiparu Thank you for the kind words.
@levi , you nailed it with that Halo double kill narrator style! I had that exact voice in mind. Adding some extra effects to spice it up a little (and hide the fact that I'm not a voice actor)
Now this is a JUICY game. Really cool foice lines, and hiting the cubes is satisfying. Nice game
@evilmurlock Thank you , I did my best to juice it up.
This game is extremely cool and addictive. Somehow made 10th at 1281 :)
squares.png
@sudocoffee great job making the top 10 ! Happy that you liked it. I’ll play your game later today.
That snappy movement and replay makes this game almost hard to get out of. Amazing!
@rincs Thank you for playing on stream! Loved to see that you had fun.
Impressive feedback effects, the graphics and sound are both beautifully crafted, and the gameplay is incredibly smooth. I believe it would be a perfect fit for a mobile version. Well done!
@nilan Thank you for the rating.
@guzman Now that is personal

@victor-perotto-pioner Wow, insane score man!
Awesome game! I love the particle effects even though then make the screen a little busy at times.
I couldn't get the high score because I was bouncing off blue cubes but had a lot of fun playing the game!
Combo sound effects are hilarious. I think I found a bug once when killing one cube counted as killing multiple, and the combo guy was yelling 'Super kill' until the end of the game. 😁
Great job!
@woona Thank you for the feedback! The blue blocks are basterds indeed they get me all the time. The sounds are stored in an array so they dont play trough each other (multikill only) they keep playing untill array is empty :)
@victor-perotto-pioner That's it for today 00875 Blind screen 07-10-2023 19-10-57.png
Really cool game and super polished. It looks like i dont have the hand eye coordination to get to the top places though. For me it feels a bit hard to spot the player cube with all the particles floating about at times. And i'd wish for a bit more lenience when it comes to leaving the limited space - more like football where it only counts as "ball out" if it's over the line with its whole volume.
But these are just personal takes. The game looks sounds and feels great to play and as everybody can see there is even a large competetive player base xD
@willoxs Thank you for the feedback. I decided to do the collision on the edge of the super cube. Because it felt weird when knocked the darkness back at the overlapping point. Did try to make states for that but got issues in the corners. Do agree that the ball out should trigger later.
Ah that makes sense. I guess it would feel off in that regard otherwise.
Cool game! I initially thought I had to click on the cube to shoot it which was going to be my only criticism as it can be hard to locate the cube when things get crazy. Realised later that I could click anywhere on the screen which allowed for much faster gameplay. Great job :)
Probably my favorite jam game so far. Intro song is awesome, and totally hyped me up, haha. Nice touches on UI font, Main Menu, color choices, and the subtle 80's 3d glasses font border. Clear instructions were nice. Addictive. Fun. Kept me coming back for more. I think there's something here to build on, maybe also on mobile?
Suggestions: - that first "Pull to start" ending up flinging me off to my death, so maybe something more gentle to start? - I wish the player Cube was on top of everything, it got easily lost in the mix with all the explosions and combo text, which once or twice meant I lost because I couldn't see the player.
Anyway, overall a very polished and juicy entry! Well done :)
@acarc Wanted to do animated intro with the controls, but no time so I get you did think that. Putting the cube on a higher layer is the first thing I’m gonna try. Thank you for the play an feedback.
@quoclon Thank you for the kind words. I totally agree with your feedback.
Fantastic game, wants you to play more and more. The juice when you hit the cubes is great, it reminds me of Fruit Ninja. Great balance between the cubes. HTML5 is hard to play because you can get the cursor outside of the play area and it messes up with the direction. This game on touch would be amazing. The voice-narrated combos are awesome. There's a small bug where, if you lose and there were still queued combo/kill sounds, they will keep playing on the leaderboard page. HOW ON EARTH did people reach such ridiculous scores?!?
Great job!
5-star audio and innovation for me. This was incredible for a Compo. This feels finished. I don't know what else you could do to improve, except maybe get this in a cabinet and put it in an arcade somewhere. Very, very nice entry.
This game is pure juice. The particles, the time slowdown. Just polish all around. Great work!
@jose-bonilla The html5 is indeed a thing , you could do full screen. Fruit ninja is part of my inspiration. I put all multi-kill sounds in an array and play them in turn. So when you hit 4 cubes at ones the sound doesn’t clutter. Those highscores are insane they are really skilled. Thanks for the feedback.
@defrag Thank you thank you thank you for the kind words. I am happy you liked it !
@larsdu Thank you for taking the time to play and rate my game. I’ll try and return the favor next week.
Very cool, for 48 hours solo amazing entry! Loved the funny VO SFX, the dynamic music, the colour scheme, and it was addictive! Whoever is up on the leader board is skilled :D
@flothesnitchy Thank a lot for the feedback ! Those leaderboard top players are insane :)
Wonderful polish! Great audio and visual effects. The gameplay is simple to learn but gets pretty challenging. Great job!
Hey, I'm the host of the Ludum Dare score chasers tournament for this jam
Wanted to ask for score chasers if you were fine with me playing some gameplay of your game in the background + play the music from your game in the waiting period. (As well as if you were fine if I played your game music while competitors are playing your game if it gets picked as one of the games played in the competition). In the waiting periods its going to play tracks from games one at a time (entire track unless the waiting period ends) and while a track is playing itll cycle through gameplay from a bunch of different games in the background
@ategon Sure thing, go for it !
@tony-li Thank you for the nice words.
Amazing feat for this timeframe! Very well done!!
Is that your voice?
Super polished, simple mechanics, pretty addicting... but I suuuuuck at it lol. I was a little confused during gameplay exactly what the difference was between the different colored blocks, so I kinda just went wild. The time slowdown was really slick, it feels great to play! Incredible for a jam game.
@ayxs Thank you for the kind words . This time I scoped good ;)
@wheffle Yes that is my voice a lot of effects on there though. Thank you for the feedback.
Very innovative, killer sound. When the space decreased, I didn't know much what to do. Online ranking is really good, great entry. As always, simplicity is a great learning experience when jamming.
Great to see the unreal tournament inspired voiceovers (double kill etc.)! Fun game, though dealing with the blue squares was not my jam. Couldn't do much better than 104 points as I found them hard to predict. Still had a good time though, great work!
@lincolnsalles if you press I get it I assume you get it :) The space (darkness) can be hit if you have a full super to knock it back. You get a full super when you kill 3 pink blocks. Yes, my goal this jam simple game a lot of polish time. Thank you for the review.
@bad-fetus The blue blocks are the worst indeed the get me most of the time. The tip there is click quickly after hitting it. This stops the player. You do way better if you use that. Thank you for playing!
im impressed by the ammount of work you put onto this game. the sound effects, the graphics, the gameplay, everything perfect! i really love the visual effects, it impressed me. very polished experience, good job!
@mncc8337 Thank you for the kind words! This means a lot 🥹
4th place ain't bad:
4th.PNG
Good lord this is addictive. I love the juicy explosions, the voice overs, it's a great time. My only complaint is it's darn near impossible to see the player when you have wild combos happening. Especially considering the player is just a while outline, with swarms of particles covering your location, it's impossible to follow where you are, especially if a blue square is in on the mix. Perhaps always rendering the player on top could help. Lots of fun, great work!
@100th-coin Thank you for the review. The player should indeed be above the particles . I’ll try and make a post-jam if I find time :)
Really well done with a clever gameplay. Honestly I played the post-compo version and I had fun playing. I like the combo FX and how everything runs smoothly. Minimalist aesthetic, gorgeous colors and a good music. A solid addictive entry. I wish you the best ++
@geckoo1337 Post-compo is the normal one. The other version is for idle play more ore less.
This game is truly incredible. I was captivated by its smooth and fluid gameplay. the sound effects are also impressived.
@thyoi Thank you for playing an leaving me some feedback .
I just couldn't see much with all the effect but really good game
@herryfabien Thank you for the feedback.
I love the feedback in the game and juicy feedbacks, it's really fun to play. Great game :)
@antonin-browne Thank you for the kind words!
I liked it. It's a fun game. Once I started chaining some combos together it really started to get fun, the game feel is great and the combo multiplier text popups add a lot of energy. Overall I think it's a very solid entry. I wish the distance you had to drag your mouse to get a high speed shot was lower since the controls feel a little awkward. The game would also benefit greatly from a better tutorial section that isn't just text. Some parts of the game were a little awkward but ultimately the gameplay itself is what really matters, and I think you did a super solid job there. Well done!
@notapollogising did you play the normal version ? The streamer version is slower. The controls are tight in the normal version less drag to higher speed. Please clarify the -some parts -please, I want all feedback so I can improve. Do agree with the tutorial, wish I had time for a Video tutorial 48 hours was a little to short for that.
@senso I'm not definite, it was the default mode that comes up where the camera doesn't follow the cube. When I say some parts are awkward I really just mean the controls which could be a little tighter, tutorial menu, and transition from losing the game to the leaderboard page. It's mostly side things like UI and I'm willing to overlook for a game jam, its not too much of an issue tbh. Controls also aren't bad by any means, they could just be a little bit better.
@notapollogising Thank you ! Yes the mode were the camera is centered is the compo mode.
This was amazing! The combo mechanics are really addicting, and the game makes great use of time slow-downs and particle effects. The variety of cube types adds variety and a bit of strategy as well. The voice lines were also great and the sound effects felt really satisfying. Awesome entry!
@paul-nadan Thank you for the rating! Hope I find time to return the favor.
Very satisfying level of juice and polish. The sfx works well with the rest to provide a crunchy feeling on hits. Overall a great little game.
@unless-games Thank you for the rating!
Great game, it feels really nice. I would love to play it on a smartphone; I think it's perfect for that.
@vitaslayer goos News , working on mobile version.
