Very well done game, the little dash effect and the items breaking added a lot to the atmosphere. Casting felt a bit slow at the start but got slightly better as I got some speed perk.

This game is great. Really fun running around throwing stuff, and so satisfying when you get a typewriter. The music add a fun twist to the whole thing. Great job!

The game is awesome. The effects are really cool. I love the player character art.

I only wish I could progress in the game faster. I think the some of the spawning is too slow for my taste.

It's wonderful though. Really fun to play.

Simple, but fun. Got to wave 15 before I decided to move on. Sound design and difficulty were both very good, and the casting is quite smooth. The art, specifically the ground, could have been better though.

For fun, decided to play without picking iron maiden or iron summon buffs... reached wave 28 with a total of 500 hp/armor, and it could have gone for a while again ^^

Really fun game, enjoyed playing it a lot. The sound effects were really good and art clean. I think you should keep building on it, making the game better and adding more content.

Fun game, I loved the large cauldrons that would explode. Also very good audio and effects.

Very fun ! Good use of the theme, and i like the sound of toilets broken on the zombies ! The concept is a bit repetitive but it's normal for this kind of game (and there is a lot of in this gamejam with this theme).

Very good gameplay and audio, only thing is that the difficulty is nothing until like level 10 then it gets much more hectic, could do to ramp up a bit faster.

Great sound design and music, even though the latter had a weird pause before every loop, but thats probably due to being a web build. Also I agree with the guy that said the difficulty should ramp a little earlier; if I wouldn't have read that comment, I would've stopped earlier thinking I've seen all of the game. Still a very worthy contribution though, congrats!

The game is great fun. Impressive sound effects combined with chaotic randomness of the summons makes you appreciate throwing stuff around. I've really enjoyed the core loop and had tons of fun playing. Though rather repetitive as of now, I believe adding more modifiers would definitely make it even more fun. Well done! :)

I had a giggle when I brute force threw that toilet against the crowd of enemies. :D For my personal liking, the difficulty curve felt very flat. I played till level 9 as it eventually felt repetetive. I really enjoyed it though, especially when a new enemy was added to the mix, or an upgrade which lead to higher spawn chances of funnier items was added to the mix. I really love the idea of 'I'm gonna summon a brick to throw it into your face' :'D

I love the sounds matching the crashing items you've summoning! Also I love spinning with those drums musics when level is cleared. Game is great!

Impressed with how polished this is for just a couple of days, with the fully-modelled character and enemies as well as little touches like the animated reticle. My only real complaint is that middle mouse is a strange choice for a dash button when shift is available, but other than that it felt good. Great job!

@fusionnist great job on reaching wave 40. I only managed to survive 36 waves so far...

@partkyle @omphh @rhyst @shanzhai @eveee-cx we agree that the game pacing has some issues. We're going to try to improve it in the post-jam version.

@enreh thanks for the criticism. I didn't get to make the ground, so we used a free texture. It was a mistake considering that player spends 99% of their time looking at the ground so we really should've given it more work.

@drainkid thank you. We were working really hard these three days. I've spent almost half of our jam time making the witch girl and she ended up too detailed for a top-down game... At least everyone can see her in the game cover.

Great art and well-balanced game!

I had difficulties with controls because I have a french keyboard and it seems that the mapping of your inputs are bound to the real values of the keys instead of the key codes (maybe?).

@deformhead The arrow keys should be able to move the character as well. It's really interesting that keybinds are based on the actual character typed, who knew!

@stevie257 Yes, I think you use something like `event.keyCode` (native or via a library) in your JS code.

It could be replace by `event.code`.

After that, you could compare `event.code` with `'keyW'` (sale values fo english `W` key or french `Z` key). :wink:

I really enjoyed this game--great game loop, great graphics, fun music, and a lot of gameplay for the time you had to work on it. For later rounds past 10 or so I'd love to see this fleshed out more in a post-LD version to keep things interesting, but I have no complaints. Keep it up! Bonus points for the humor; that wok sure is spicy!

This is fun. A lot of fun. The various items thrown by Ms. Witch are hilarious, and I like the overall aesthetic. The arena was a nice shape, so I wish there had been something to do with it, but that's a minor complaint. The music was groovy but I feel a little too downtempo when you have 25 enemies chasing you -- even just triggering a double-time feel drum section would have helped the dramatic tension.

Overall, great job. This would be a super cool game to see expanded with a leaderboard. :)

The random weapon system is cool and the hits on all the different objects feel really satisfying. I feel like you could really embrace that and dial up the chaos to 11 - way more enemies, more mana, faster movement, and that would make this really fun!

Hey, this all felt really tight. Nice concerted vision re: sound design, visuals, music and gameplay. Loved the weapon randomisation and changes between camera angles. Was awesome that all the different weapons had SFX to match - really sold it. Controls felt tight and gameplay stepped up in challenge in a satisfying way. Nice entry!

@dreamscale actually that's what we're going to do for the post-jam version. In the current version later waves already kinda look like this, but the time investment to get there isn't really justified. The gameplay feels so impactful and the lore is very unique Like, it's not every day that you get to throw a cash registrer or a frying pan at monsters :laughing: I had a great time with that The graphics are really good as well! You guys did a great job.
