Very fun! The arts, music, and the narrator fit in very nice. really love the eyes. it gives so much characteristics to the drone. Level 4 and 5 are hard though. The game takes a quick turn from a stress release game to a stress building game. XD
Nice game but can get frustrating when you're bad like me ^^. The noise of the drone should be softer! Graphics are very clean, nice work =)
@mortith @kenneth-dd @korvack thank you for playing and the feedback. Hope you had more fun than rage :P
Such a Great game designe ! And the game is so well polished ! Really fun to play !
(Really challenging last level ! After that the only one apple i put had jump out of the bucket, i losed my motivation ^^”)
Haha! Very nice game! I liked it! It was quite hard, and it does it job as a rage game. Would be cool to see a longer version. YES I ENJOYED SUFFERING HAHA
Although, the background voice really doesn't know what they are talking about, haha! If you ask me the drones are much less efficient than human workers. Maybe they should work on AI first before praising it? :o
@roroto-sic thanks for playing and the feedback, fair call about the last level, probably pushed the difficulty up a little too much on that one.
@truechips thanks for checking it out, happy you enjoyed the rage aspects :)
I was not a good drone-apple-picker. But I did my best for the little board that could.
Enjoy it a lot! Physics are so juicy :D
Amazing game!!!!!!
Really fun game, but super hard :D Would be amazing to have a timer so you could really try to speedrun the game
@luizgt @vein @stefan-laimer thanks for playing. I was thinking about a timer for speedruns but ran out of time :)
Very fun. I love the narration. Maybe controls for the platforms angle would make it a bit more controlled.
Cool idea and looks really pretty! My screen became red for some reason, at first I thought I had died xD Fun to play
I love the voice is like they did good, and my drone probably burned more CO2 into the atmosphere then all of the industrial revolution. Is really hard and I am really bad at it. but had nice music.
Also, when you select a level there is this popping sound. I was playing the web version. it is also really big it didn't fit on my screen and the full screen mode was not working.
Anyway, loved your game all the same...Doh just realized that the sound is not one of the things we are rating. The robot is cute love the eyes I got up to level 4 and gave up with the pipe there was no way I was going to do that. Have a good one. Yip yap!
@masternoob thanks for playing, the idea is to use the terrain and apples to help position the drone and add to the challenge (but maybe I pushed it too far?). @zeichn thanks for playing, sorry about the red screen, never came across that bug myself :/
Thanks for playing @tristan-doell. It's probably best played with the windows version as the full screen works better there. I found to fix the full screen on the web version you can zoom out a bit on the itch page and then hit F for full screen to fit properly, hope that helps. Thanks again :)
Pretty fun game! Level 5 was a bit hard for me though, I was definitely not as efficient as the narrator said I was XD
@jazzathefoss thanks heaps for checking it out, I guess the narration is intended to mock the gameplay in a way so no one can live up to its expectations :)
I like the idea of using terrain to reposition your character when it gets too out of balance. Nice narration, and the graphics were lovely. Very hard game for me but also neat.
I feel much more optimistic about my chances in a robot uprising.
well, that was a surreal experience. the googly eyes on the drone and the auto generated voiceover narration made it feel like a dystopian parody.
i gotta say, maybe this was intentional, but the click and drag drone controls were amazingly frustrating. the lack of ability to rotate the drone except by landing it on a surface was especially frustrating. if you're trying to do some kind of commentary about "look how awful drones are" then good job!
i was gonna give all the levels an earnest go, but after a huge amount of effort to finally get an apple in the bucket in level 2, it literally just rolled out of the bucket (from within the bucket), and i gave up.
also, the windowed version was twice the size of my screen, and when i hit "maximize" to make it fit within the screen, some buttons were drawn outside the screen bounds. might wanna double check your UI layout setup!
overall, thanks for this surreal experience, i hope that we might not be replaced with drones quite yet.
@nvrskipgameday happy you enjoyed the game mechanics @bangkerpow lol for sure, apple pickers especially will be safe in the future :) @sakura-magika thanks for all the feedback, sorry about the frustrating experience, it was intended as a rage game but maybe I pushed that aspect too far. I tried to do my best with the full screen options and I think they work as intended on the windows version but not quite on the HTML. Thanks for playing and yep, are jobs are safe :)
when someone says robots will take over the planet, i'll show them this game and they'll stop worrying.
i love physics related games, and this one is at the same time frustrating and simple and addictive enough to make me want to try and try and try, which is a great thing. however, i must admit i retreated on level 5. to be honest, the same game with only 1 apple/level would be as hard for me as it is now haha
i'd like to see people playing it to see what their tactics are!
@amarokczukay lol, as long as humans come up with dodgy designs for robots, we'll have nothing to worry about. Thanks for playing and giving it a good go (I probably made level 5 a little too brutal :P)
So good! Frustration game with music and atmosphere to convey relaxation—I've got mixed emotions 😦 Since you don't have fine control tho, just waving the mouse back and forth isn't quite unlike drawing calming circles in the sand… Even the drone occasionally closing its eyes for a mo… 😌
Really liked the music and the spoken lines were a great touch. Made me want to get to the next level to hear the next part. My only gripe is with the audio mixing: the sound of the drone was way too loud compared to the rest, and some fading would've been nice as it was quite abrupt the way it turned on and off immediately.
Controls I assume were meant to be finicky (especially given the game's name) but were mostly fine that way and when I discovered I was able to actually get some precision back by moving slow with the mouse centred on the drone itself, that helped too. I do wish it would've rotated toward the mouse more readily.
Graphics are very nice and soothing and the cute eyes on the drone do a lot. Like the contrast between foreground and background, and the animation on the trees.
Overall really well done!! 🍎
@ava-skoog thank you for playing and the detailed feedback :)
Wow, that game was not for me 😅 I wished for a way to be able to at least rotate my drone in mid-air instead of aligning it on the ground. The voice over was a wonderfully comedic contrast to the display of utter ineptitude of me as a player trying my hardest to the the apples into the dark basket. But the game lost me once it introduced air streams and bumpers, it felt like the level design was being vindictive 😅 Thanks for submitting! Here's the video of me playing the game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jj_pzh6rT7I
Very unique gameplay and I loved the technological dystopian undertones paired with the cute visuals xD I uploaded a vid of lvl 5 here: https://streamable.com/doxnzh Not my best run, but probs the silliest xD I can see how some people would have a hard time playing, but I had a great experience playing your game <3 Slow and steady wins the race! The only issue I really ran into was I kept clicking out of the screen. Even in full screen there's black bars on the sides that dont count as on the screen (21:9 aspect ratio monitor tho and web build) so my drone would just drop sometimes. The bouncy things seemed a little punishing at first too, but you can actually complete both levels that have them without touching them but its hard as heck on lvl 5
(Let me know if the vid deletes and I'll upload again. It gave me a warning that it will last a day but then I signed up so it would stay longer so idk)
Also: how do tree shader? I been looking for something very similar but haven't found and I have zero shader skill hehe. is very cute!
@philstrahl thanks for playing and the feedback, had fun watching this back. @itsboats thanks heaps for showing the video of that level, I thought I made it too hard but you just proved if you master the mechanic that they are doable in a timely and graceful way :P The game was made with GameMaker and I use a Ripples Filter which are pre-coded shaders built in to the engine (I have zero shader skill too).
