I think a shoot animation would be a very nice addition! Without holding the right mouse button I would be pretty much lost

Made me think about miami vice, cant realy get the point of the red square, do they attack ?

stormouse-indie 2025-04-07 14:59

@oadt Thanks for playing! Yeah there are lots of detail missing and currently with or without aim the accuracy is perfect, will differentiate them a little bit. I should show the bullet trail (and even more meaningful when it’s not 100% accurate)

@badpinkchicken Thanks for playing! For this version it is more like a practice range. The red rectangles are dummies. If there is a score I will say it is “average time between a dummy is found and killed”. It helps new CQB game player to learn how to “slice to pie” into rooms so they are not surprised by certain angle.

There are endless monsters to fight in this level, and I can't find an exit, but it's a good idea to kill time by clearing red dots like killing mosquitoes😇

cool game, kind of more of an aim training game for me.

I like the minimalist style but it does lack a lot of feedback so that the player understands a little what is happening on the screen and what he has to do.

@piero-pbes-studio Good advice! I've added some (ugly) firing effect and added some particles when a target is destroyed. Thanks for playing!

I like the minimalist look of it, the choice of colours works really well for it. Makes an interesting change to have the goal to be like optimising your run rather than there being like an explicit failure state. I think I almost would have liked to see an accuracy stat as well just to see how badly I was doing on aim!

Great minimalistic game

spacecadet 2025-04-13 10:26

The shooting was satisfying but I think I missed the point why should I shoot the targets or keep going further in the level as there was no threat or reward for the player. The minimalistic graphics worked well.

Love the graphics, looks pretty stylish in spite of simplicity.

Gameplay is barely there, thought. Needs some challenge, any challenge. Even something as simple as making/generating several levels and set a tight time limit for each could make it into an actual game, instead of a toy.
