Nice theme — it has a lot of potential, would be better if all tiles were visible and matched within a certain radius

2434 is my best after a few games!
Very nice game! This is the kind of game I really enjoy, and that makes me want to play just once more! :D
There are quite a few different strategies; in the end I just aimed for easy pairs, climbing up the colors as much as possible.
Visuals are simple but make everything really clear and work well with the type of game.
Good job!
I like this large scale memory game. It's pretty fun. I tried going for longer streaks, but I couldn't score as much as submitting 2 at a time.
I got 1055 but I suspect it's because I'm not chaining enough of the tiles together (my memory isn't the best haha). Surprisingly addictive game, would be great if there was a tutorial level as I struggled to get to new levels initially. Good job!
I like the idea with nested levels, good job!
How do you score so much? I only scored 475.
Cute idea, and I like the simple graphical style you went for! I think a smaller board and less game time may actually work in your favor for this game style, I felt it a bit too difficult to go up in levels with such a large board.
I'm really terrible at memory games so this definitely wasn't for me, but the idea is pretty good and you made quite a good game out of it.
Pretty cool really smooth feel.
Cool idea but the controls felt a bit clunky. I was struggling to make the connections reliably so the game felt pretty frustrating because of that.
Nice take on the classic memory-game.
As others have pointed out, it could be a bit easier with the numbers visible. I guess it could be possible implement multiple difficulties/modes.
Numbers could also be any other kinds of symbols or pictures. First I thought that you were supposed to chain numbers in an exponential sequence, but then realized that it's a match-game.
There are a lot of possible directions you could go with this concept.
Cheers!
As yet another person with very bad short-term memory this was a bit of a nightmare :see_no_evil: Good mechanics though! I think with a smaller board I would have had an easier time keeping track of things and been able to engage with the upgrade path a bit more—it seems like there’s an interesting balance to strike between using the more numerous lower-level tiles to upgrade vs. using the already-upgraded higher-level tiles. Well done!
I mostly agree with what has already been said here. The large game board felt a little overwhelming but the game was fun just the same. I really like that you can approach it different ways to try to get big matches or long chains or do upgrades. The music was great and the visuals were simple but effective. Nice work.
Interesting idea, at first I thought it's minesweepers and then memory. Felt quite pressuring having such a large board motivating you to go as fast as you can and not score optimal points. Maybe a smaller board would have been better. Solid entry though! :)
