Sadly the game automatically resized it's-self to twice the size of my screen, making it unplayable :( It sounds like you have a neat concept though!

Thanks for letting me know! We did run into into some resolution issues along the way. Unfortunately, the game looked quite off without the re-size :/ I had my hopes up this would avoid most resolution issues but unfortunately that does not seem to be the case then.
Nice! Thanks for detailed tutorial, it really helps. I think at start game may be a little easier for understand all action. Good arts and nice gameplay Great work!
The tutorial is quite good indeed. I did also have the sizing problem though so I couldn't actually get to things to actually play. Do let me know if it gets correct and I'll come back and rate!
Cute little simulation, nice & solid tutorial experience on it too! The only problem I had initially was that my browser wanted to leave the bottom UI out, but managed to fix it eventually. That's one green-foamed wizard there though, splendid work!
Similar problem to others where I had to zoom out to fit the game on my screen. Once I got playing it was a good concept and overall very amusing.
Nice character design
Could not get working (zoom issue) in chrome, firefox or edge. Could you post some instructions on how to work around this? Changing zoom (either direction) in chrome did not work for me either.
Once I fixed the zoom problem, fun game to play. I liked the voice lines.
Thanks for all the feedback thus far!
@creamsicle42 @grisha I rebuilt the game and tried uploading it again. Hoping this fixed the issue!
A really good game!, i noticed you cant play in fullscreen however because the barrels are out of you reach
Start feels really fast. IMO difficulty should be lower at ludum submissions, but overall, nice entry)
Was pretty hard to get the timing right as the customers appear way before I got the first crops to grow. I think with some tweaking of the timers you got a nice little game on your hands though!
First of all: Rice should never ever be used in beer. But that's just the German in me speaking.
For the game itself, I have to agree with @plusminus, that the game is very fast at the beginning. I had 3 or 4 customers leave before I had even harvested the first crops. On the second run I was better, but I still think it should be slower/easier at the beginning and then pick up speed.
For the controlls, I am still not sure if I like it. They seems pretty simple and after some time I got the hang of it, but especially at the start I got confused a lot when to press left or right mouse button. I have no solution on how to do it better, but selecting a seed or a crop from the bottom menu before placing it felt also strange to me.
But besides that I really enjoyed the game. The art is great and the voiced lines are funny and I always love voiced characters in jam games. Makes it seems such more polished.
Give us that beer!
Not sure if the zoom in-out meant that I am missing some menu or something but after following the tutorial twice I could't work out what to do. I guess I need to start by planting some seeds to get crops, but I start off with 0 seeds. How do I get seeds to start doing stuff? (Did not leave a rating yet because of this- I'll try again later and give a rating and review if I'm able to get started)
nice and all, the art and sounds and voice lines all pretty good. maybe the controls could feel a bit more responsive. only thing bad was me :(
It's pretty cool, though I spectacularly suck. (THO THAT'S WITH ALL GAMES SO YEAH)
Thanks for all the feedback!
I appreciate all the input on the difficulty level. Looks like I bumped it too high. @plusminus "difficulty should be lower at ludum submissions" is a very good point and something I'll work on next time.
FWIW it ended up like this because it was too easy at first. During testing, we made 1000s of coins after playing 20+ minutes. But let's face it: this isn't a game you spend 20 minutes playing :D Maybe 5 minutes and move on to the next thing. That's why the difficulty got bumped. But it looks we went from "too easy" to "too difficult." Although I am tempted to upload a video now showing my strategy and trying to beat my high score :)
@algo-baker You need to go to the barrels at the top right of the screen to get seeds. Are those not showing up for you?
@noskro Ja, hier in Amerika ist nichts mit Reinheitsgebot :D Thanks for the detailed feedback! Lots of good points. I admit that the right click for actions takes a bit of getting used to. The problem was that we tried "E", the key usually used for "interact" in PC games, but it didn't work well because you constantly have to press it while pressing the WASD keys next to it. We tried space bar too but that was also thumb cramping :D Although it's still not ideal, right mouse button was best compromise we could come up with :/
Nice game with fun idea, Controlls are a bit rough and hard to understand but good overall
Cool concept and gameplay loop! The tutorial definitely helps a lot. I really like the art, characters, voices, and music. My reflexes aren't quick enough to get very far, but I love the idea and I'd like to see more of this one if you expand it later. Great work! :)
Great art, nice music and some witty dialogue and ideas! I really like the concept, and I like the mechanic of being able to drink your own stock to keep going. I thought it was a bit too fast paced though - I played it through a few times but consistently lost my first customers because they'd given up and left before I'd grown and brewed their drinks.
Haha this was a very fun farming game and the theme really added a lot. The artwork was playful and humorous. I was on a trackpad so using the right-click was awkward for such a frequent action but i managed to play it. I liked the voice snippets from the customers. My only complaint was the time pressure didn't really fit with a farming game, which feels like it should be more chill and laid-back. I think either the customers could not have a timer, or the interactions could be streamlined like overcooked. Pretty impressive to build a game with so many moving parts in a jam, nice work.
great game! I like the character and world design , the instructions really helped a lot in knowing the process of making the brew, it took a bit for me to get the hang of it, the mechanics give a procedure based gameplay, this has good replay value and I enjoyed playing this one, keep it up!
Cool idea but the controls were not too intuitive and prevented me really to enjoy playing. The customer voices and and character art was pretty neat though. The gameplay felt a bit rushed and a lot of customers were coming immediately after starting. Maybe a bit slower pace could work. However a nice entry.
Wow this game is hard. I liked the general gameplay idea and the art style. The movement felt a little bit clunky as if colliders were all over the place. Also it was hard to distinguish the different seeds and plants. Also planting and harvesting were pretty finicky, because I never knew which farm plot or plant I targeted. Nice idea though!
Great concept but very hard for someone new to games. Maybe having an easier version or a way to not die would be helpful until I got the hang of it.
Ahh the voice acting is amazing! This sure was a challenge, but after a little while I started to get the hang of it. I think stacking up on a lot of seeds early game is a good strategy, and then trying to pick them up as you move past them to brew beer.
I like the graphics a lot, they together with the funny puns and voice quips make the game hilarious. This is why Dumbledore had to die in Harry Potter, so that this wouldn't become his fate.
Thank you for the tutorial, I really needed it! I love the game. I struggled to get happy customers at the start because they arrive so quickly. The voices are really funny and sound a lot like the regulars in my local pubs  Graphics are spot on too. Great job!
