A nice chill puzzle game. Very accurate depiction of an avid deer fan that hasn't bought a pc for a few decades.

Wish I could see how tired baby deer is in some way to know clearly where to put the mushrooms, and to even figure out that mushrooms affect the tiredness in some way.

Also, I am unsure if the erase glitch is intentional but it sure helped trivialize some later tougher levels xD

@powerofsin yeh I didn't think of adding a way to see how tired the baby deer is since the mushrooms where a last seconds addition.

Also the erase thing was a bug at the beginning but I liked it and thought if someone can find it than I might as well let them use it

Cool little puzzle game, took me a few mins to work out what the last block did

nice game, puzzle design are pretty good, graphic looks decent as well since tiredness problem was already mention, adding description of each tile would make more clear for players. i spent a few try to figure out what the mushroom can do (or i somehow miss the description?). overall a really good one, i enjoy playing it!

Nice concept and good to chill. To be honest, I struggled with the second puzzle, and this made me interested in this puzzle game. If you showed the bar below the screen more accurately(i.e. how much the memory would be consumed for a block), it would be more comfortable to play.

peach-tree-pixels 2023-10-03 12:42

@haotian-chen well the main idea with the mushroom is that there is no other way to pass the level were the block is intorduced without using it. So i thought that would be enough since you cant pass it any other way and if you just let the deer go without using the mushroom it will say that he got tired. But I gueses it's not clear enough

peach-tree-pixels 2023-10-03 12:45

@surune what do you mean by "showed the bar below the screen more accurately"? It's 100% accurate to what your usage of the "memory" (block limit) is

surune 2023-10-03 12:55

@peach-tree-pixels To say clearly, what I said is 1. The memory starts at non-zero point, so it is difficult to calculate the limit of block. 2. There are no number or lines at bar which shows how much the memory would be consumed when I place a block. (I don't know exact term - gridline, drawing scale, graduation) 3. I thought I can place a block more, but the system shut down. The bar right before the shut down was shown as it has enough memory. (Now I know what you intended but it was confused to me while playing)

Sorry for not clear saying, I hope you understand what I wanted to say.

@surune All this makes sense. Thank you, this is very good feedback and I'll fix all this after the jam is finished :)

Really good entry, a light playthrough with some moments where I had to think about what I was doing. Super cute and great art too. Nice jam!

Nice puzzle game with cute art and amazing music. For me however it wasn't clear how the baby deer would react on the different objects. For example sometimes the deer would turn 90 degrees hitting a forest, sometimes 180. Sometimes the deer turns 90 degrees on a base tile. Maybe I just missed something?

peach-tree-pixels 2023-10-06 12:44

@spacecadet well the pattern of how the baby deer walks is always the same, you just have to figure out what directions he prefers to go in. (I'm not gonna say it here cose I don't want to give it away for others.)
