LD51 — Every 10 seconds

Chromo Trigger by LandoSystems 2022-10-21T00:35:01Z

Nice work! I especially liked the commentary at each switch. I don't really understand what the gems did, but it was fun to try to balance running towards the gems with attacking enemies with running away from enemies.

Edit: I figured it out haha I like it a lot!

House Hitman by adjo 2022-10-21T02:43:35Z

The procedural generation was impressive! I liked the frantic pace, though I did find it weirdly difficult to get through the doors. Nice work

PipeNightmare by Sarah 2022-10-21T03:28:25Z

I like the frantic take on the classic pipe-junction puzzle. Difficulty-wise, I definitely felt at the mercy of RNG; sometimes it was very easy and other times it seemed impossible to win. Nice work with the visuals and atmosphere!

Growth Spurt by Cole and Jordan Studios 2022-10-21T03:42:30Z

Excellent work! I loved the physics-y-ness of it, and it was probably the funniest thing I've seen this jam. Well done!

Terra Nova by N4tticus 2022-10-21T02:10:39Z

Nice work! Getting a power-up every 10 seconds was a simple take on the theme, but it honestly might be one of my favorites. It was a great way to balance an otherwise seemingly unfair game. One minor complaint is that I think things might have been cut off a bit on my screen. Oh, and I also really liked the humor and sound. Well done

Quick to Judge by axelrinaldo 2022-10-21T04:00:54Z

Well done! I wish there was maybe a few extra seconds to read the new law before having 10 seconds to judge the person, but maybe it's better as frantic as it is. I also thought it was quite funny! Nice work.

Starshock! by Coda Highland 2022-10-21T03:06:11Z

I love the retro sound effects and the frantic gameplay! I found it kind of difficult to read the projectiles though, probably because of the similar-looking stars in the background. I also think it might have been a little too hard, though it was satisfying when the asteroid storm wiped out the enemies. Overall, this was a fun retro-inspired game. Nice work!

10 Second Farm by Quoclon 2022-10-05T04:07:18Z

Nice work! I like the animation of the animals, including the way that they all hop around. I also liked the laid-back style and low-poly art.

Chef Jeff wants you! by jkniest 2022-10-21T02:01:11Z

Looks like a cool idea, but for some reason I couldn't figure out how to feed the monster? I couldn't put the plate on the serving area, and walking it out to the monster also didn't help. I loved the art though!

Eleventh Second by Jeremy Ryan 2022-10-21T02:38:05Z

Excellent work! I love how juicy everything was, especially the batteries. A great little touch is how they move to you just slightly when you hook them with the kunai. It was kind of unforgiving, but I enjoyed the challenge. I also really liked the silhouetted art style. Well done!

Watch the cat by chispaLBC 2022-10-21T03:34:11Z

This is an insanely cute game! It was very simple and yet quite fun, and it was a fun choice to make the clock disappear. Great work!

RED RINK by Simon Rahnasto 2022-10-05T04:54:50Z

Nice work, especially with the aesthetics!

I Need to Be With Him by Beebo Studios 2022-10-21T01:55:01Z

Excellent work! I love the atmosphere, particularly the sound design.

10 minutes till midnight by rightearphone 2022-10-21T13:53:56Z

I really like your UI design and your take on the theme. It was interesting to see a turn-based game with time as a spendable commodity. It would be neat if there was some kind of deck-building component, especially since I lost when I simply ran out of stealth cards in my hand. Still, it was fun. Well done!

Get All the Orbs by Suchista 2022-10-21T03:12:35Z

I had a lot of fun with this one! I liked that you have the arrow that always points to one of the orbs while also always having the others on the map if you happened to find them, which is a nice way to give the player direction without forcing linearity. I also loved the recoil effect, especially once I figured out that, with a little planning, I could kill enemies while also propelling myself away from them and towards the orb. It also made for difficult decisions when I did have to go forwards. Nice work!

Coffee Rush by Trusty 2022-10-21T00:56:01Z

Nice game! I liked the 3D models. I hit some problems when I couldn't figure out how to make tea with 75% skim milk, but it was fun overall. The dialogue was funny, but it might have been better if it occurred a bit less often and thus repeated less. Thanks for the game!

Barricaded by Cha5m 2022-10-05T03:49:33Z

I like the idea! I wish there was more of a reason to leave the starting room though.

Potion Panic! by dodori 2022-10-21T14:50:50Z

Nice idea! I do think the fist was kind of hard to hit with. I liked frantically trying to read and choose a potion while also avoiding the enemies.

Potion Commotion by hulien22 2022-10-05T04:22:03Z

I love the art and music! I found it a bit buggy though; sometimes I was unable to click on something to move it.

Limited Window by Justin Klinchuch 2022-10-21T04:08:06Z

Well done overall! I liked your take on the theme: enemies only attack every 10 seconds. I think some of the purple buttons were a bit bugged, which gave me some issues later on. Great idea though!

House Of Desire by Noirox 2022-10-21T03:22:31Z

Excellent work! I really loved your take on the theme: switching to a visual novel after every ten seconds of platforming. The art was cute!

Secret ingredient by Guzman 2022-10-21T02:22:14Z

I like the atmosphere and the creepy staticy audio, but I also felt kinda directionless. Also, it would be great if you included mouse sensitivity settings and (for the Windows build) a way to exit the game without Alt-Tab-ing out (via the Escape button, for example). Nice work on the fruit!

10 Second Apocalypse by TexelProto 2022-10-21T15:03:15Z

Nice work! I like the idea of balancing crafting and killing enemies as more and more chaotic things happen. I know you were rushed, but a little bit of balancing goes a long way: it was almost impossible to do any mining/harvesting after the first two or three waves of enemies; maybe slowing down enemy spawn rates would have made it better (not the rate at which you introduce new enemies, necessarily, just the number that spawn). Still, it's certainly better than my first jam game! Great start!

Gemstones by Spike Studio 2022-10-05T05:18:00Z

Great work on the art! It was a pretty satisfying game.

Double-sided princess by AL43868 2022-10-21T14:55:46Z

Nice! I liked switching between being able to kill enemies and being really good at running away from them. I'm not sure how to aim the attack.

Floppy Fish by Pyspher9 2022-10-21T02:28:34Z

I loved this one! The wonky floppy fish physics was great, but the 10 second limit was forgiving enough that it always worked out okay. I also loved the cute art and the sound design. Excellent work!

Adventures of a Lonely Pixel by AugustCoder 2022-10-21T03:00:23Z

The visuals were fantastic! The jump did feel a bit floaty, and I wish that the 10 second countdown reset on each death/respawn because if I died normally 5 seconds in, the I would have to just wait around for another 5 seconds before I could realistically try again. I loved the atmosphere though! Nice work.

Maudits Fantômes / Cursed Ghosts by Mossieur Patate 2022-10-21T02:51:33Z

Excellent work! It's a very fun take on Pac-Man, and I also like the take on the theme with having 5 seconds of day and 5 seconds of night instead of just one event that occurs every 10 seconds (and the little circular display was great!). I found the movement up and down kind of unintuitive and had a hard time wrapping my head around it. I liked the retro-style sound. This was definitely a worthwhile experiment!

Trineko by SinaLIze 2022-10-05T03:58:00Z

Nice work! I wish it wasn't quite so easy to softlock yourself. I really like the art and sound! The smol cat rolling animation is particularly cute.

The Best Smithy In The Kingdom by Wolforce 2022-10-05T03:26:24Z

I liked the art! The sound design was cool too. The UI was a bit unintuitive, particularly the clicking and dragging. I also never really felt like I had enough time to find the recipe and make it within 10 seconds, and the same items don't typically come up often enough for you to memorize them.

A Song of Red and Blue (and Green) by Squarefox 2022-10-21T01:45:10Z

Nice work with the raytracer! That's super impressive. It took a while to get a hang of the movement, but I eventually found it fun to try to steer the little ball around.

The Madness of Martha by lavendaggers 2022-10-05T03:36:41Z

I loved this game! Great work

Stable Instability by TopHat Bolt 2022-10-21T03:50:57Z

I really liked the art style! I was a little confused by the changes in movement controls though. I spent most of the game in what appears to be top-down mode, but then I got to a change where the mouse cursor appeared in the window and I couldn't figure out what to do at that point. Nice work on the atmosphere though!

LD53 — Delivery

Station Run by smilewood 2023-05-02T03:35:56Z

Nice work! The sci-fi theme was fun, and I particularly liked the crucnchy failure sound effect.

Mail owl by vidarn 2023-05-19T05:21:20Z

This was very cute! I particularly enjoyed the art and the sound, and I liked how there was humor, but it wasn't really in-your-face. Well done!

RUCHKI by katamary 2023-05-06T23:07:47Z

I love the feel of the game, especially the sound. I also liked the idea of delivering a letter to a cat.

Space Haulers by ColinBellino 2023-05-02T03:27:57Z

I wish that either the levels were much shorter or there was more to do during them. Also, I was able to get through level 6 with just a disruptor and a laser; I think the damage system might have some bugs because that laser seemed immortal. I really liked the art and sound, though! Nice work

Grocery Fulfillment Center by Flightless 2023-05-19T05:52:22Z

I really enjoyed this take on the theme! I think this would have been better if there was some kind of alarm sound when the meter was flashing. The humor was also quite good in this. Well done!

Rogue Box by Rewzu 2023-05-19T05:41:30Z

Nice work! I enjoyed the take on the theme and the animations of the box, especially what happens when you run out of durability. The fact that the warehouse workers were inexplicably penguins was also a nice touch. Well done!

KissKiss Delivery by Jammin 2023-05-08T01:51:51Z

I really liked your take on the theme! It would've been even cooler if the fact that they were kisses was incorporated into the gameplay somehow, but I'm not sure how you'd do that. I also liked the art and music.

Escape The Delivery by StefanHolst 2023-05-06T22:41:17Z

Very interesting! I like the idea of playing in the terminal

30 Minutes Or Heck by radgegames 2023-05-02T04:40:23Z

I think the art is cool. I do think that it was pretty hard, especially since the enemies seem to be able to shoot at you from offscreen. I really enjoyed the distorted screen effect! Well done

The Milwaukee Thrift Store by Retrisma 2023-05-08T01:32:22Z

I enjoyed it! The watermarked images were a great idea, and the voice acting was fun.

Desert Bike by wokeraccoon 2023-05-06T22:55:27Z

Nice game! It was frustrating but fair. The way the bike jerks away from a full stop, though, was maybe a little too punishing if you get yourself stuck in a bad spot. Overall, well done!

Order Up! by Fractal Flower Girl 2023-05-19T05:27:17Z

Well done! I particularly liked the hand-drawn art.

A City Minute by Red_dino 2023-05-02T03:52:14Z

I liked this little narrative adventure! I think it was a good idea to have the player go through and see most of the locations before finding the deliveryperson so that they understand what to do later. I think it may have been beneficial to more clearly indicate at the beginning that the first goal is just to explore until you find them; I felt a bit lost at first. Overall, great work!

de-Liver by noskro 2023-05-19T05:13:40Z

Nice work! I particularly enjoyed the drunkenness effects and the audio

Deliverance by EpicGameFan 2023-05-08T01:16:57Z

Nice work! I liked the feel of the character, though I do agree it was a bit too easy to get stuck on the wall. The level design also had me fighting the camera often. I really enjoyed the art and sound! Well done.

Delivery Is EVERYTHING by SephoWepho 2023-05-07T01:02:26Z

Excellent work! It's a super creative and clever take on the theme. I also liked the art and thought the sound effects were really cool.

Delivery Champ by Brandon Campbell 2023-05-02T02:44:37Z

Excellent game! It has a fantastic gamefeel.

Deliver The Torch by Follett12 2023-05-02T04:05:50Z

I really enjoyed the graphics and the ambient sound! The mix of 2D and 3D was cool. I wish the gameplay was a little more involved, but great job creating the atmosphere!

Couriers' Route by Roroto Sic 2023-05-08T00:55:27Z

I really enjoyed the atmosphere of this game! I also enjoyed the story elements. I think it was kind of punishing; it felt like the only way was to find the one right path through trial and error. Overall, though, nice work!

Mission: Intercept by Stephen Kyranakis 2023-05-02T02:46:04Z

@brandon-campbell Thanks for playing! I agree it would be better with a fail state. Thanks for the feedback!

Mission: Intercept by Stephen Kyranakis 2023-05-02T03:39:38Z

@follett12 Thanks! I tried to focus on the art this jam; I'm glad you liked it. I'm also glad you liked the design!

Mission: Intercept by Stephen Kyranakis 2023-05-02T04:40:47Z

@radgegames Thanks!

Mission: Intercept by Stephen Kyranakis 2023-05-06T22:11:58Z

@stefanholst @wokeraccoon @katamary @yuriscat Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed it

Mission: Intercept by Stephen Kyranakis 2023-05-06T22:12:58Z

@theguy Thank you! And I hadn't thought of that bug; thanks for pointing out it!

Mission: Intercept by Stephen Kyranakis 2023-05-08T00:37:40Z

@roroto-sic Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the aesthetics of it, and I do wish I had done a bit more balancing

Mission: Intercept by Stephen Kyranakis 2023-05-08T14:11:47Z

@vidarn Thanks! I tried to do something a little unusual, gameplay-wise, and I'm glad you enjoyed it

Mission: Intercept by Stephen Kyranakis 2023-05-10T02:34:53Z

@c-5po I'm glad you liked it. Thanks for your feedback!

Pizza Here On Earth by Little Doctor Games 2023-05-02T04:30:18Z

I genuinely loved almost everything about this game! I loved the hint on the failure screen and the way that that was implemented. I loved the audio and the select success screen. I loved the cute art, and the fact that it was only about a hundred pixels tall on my screen gave it a janky charm. I loved the boss design, especially the twist in the second fight. I loved the ending. I do think the enemies' health bars were a little too long, but, overall, fantastic work!

Last Stand Delivery by Sheng Mai 2023-05-07T00:19:18Z

I loved the art style and sound, and the puzzles were fun. The story was a lot of fun too. I did notice that the pixel alignment was a little weird on my screen--for example, the Executor's eyes were sometimes one pixel wide and sometimes two pixels wide, depending on where the character was on screen. I'm not sure what causes this. You may want to look into Unity's PixelPerfect camera if you're not already using it--it helps keep things aligned properly. Great work overall!

Last Stand Delivery by Sheng Mai 2023-05-08T14:08:24Z

@yuriscat No apology necessary! I enjoyed the game, and it looked great! I just wanted to point out a way you might make your next game look even better :)

BALA!!! by DSK 2023-05-02T02:54:42Z

This is a cute game! I really enjoyed the art. I did find it very hard

Deli's Whale Delivery by theguy 2023-05-06T23:29:12Z

I really enjoyed this game! I liked the art and thought Deli was adorable. I was also really interested in the idea of a bullet hell where movement is limited. I think maybe the movement was a little too limited, but I still really enjoyed trying to keep the movement as minimal as possible. Great work!

Happiness Delivery by apiffer 2023-05-19T05:37:03Z

The mouse sensitivity felt a little high to me, but I really enjoyed the graphics and the sweet concept. Nice work!

Parcel Control by Vitaslayer 2023-05-07T00:37:18Z

I enjoyed the art! I also liked the gameplay, though I think it might have been even better if the bad packages were rarer (confirming a package is correct is slower than finding that it isn't). I also found the wait time between packages a little frustrating. I'm not sure if you made the sound effects, but I really enjoyed them, too, especially the slurping sound of the pipe sucking the package back in. Nice work!

LD55 — Summoning

Hella Farm by Steffo 2024-05-03T05:47:35Z

Nice work! I loved the art, and I think it was a really cool idea to turn summoning into a crafting mechanic like you did. The top hats and monocles added some charm as well.

Summoner's Siege by nubcaik 2024-05-03T06:17:28Z

I really enjoyed the premise of having to get money during the runs to buy summons to help in future runs. I also thought the mana pool was a really interesting idea--I don't think I've ever seen a game present an opportunity cost of spending time in the shop, so that was neat. I do think the summon preview screen was a little confusing, since my summons tended to be bunched up in the shop, so it was hard to see from that thumbnail what I was summoning. Lastly, I absolutely loved the very unique-looking art style and the little sound of the character jumping. Well done!

Ocean Summons by TheCrittersCove 2024-05-03T06:04:50Z

I enjoyed the undersea atmosphere and the unique take on the theme! It would have been cool if the fish could follow you naturally rather than requiring constant clicking. I also enjoyed the cute story

Legend of Lady by Spice Cabinet 2024-05-02T03:59:29Z

I liked the music and art! The gameplay took be a while to figure out, but I enjoyed it once I got the hang of it. Having to work my way back up and make sure to dig carefully so that I could return to the surface was fun!

Purrfect Portal by Teto 2024-05-03T06:54:53Z

I loved this take on the theme! It was a very fun concept, and I enjoyed the puns as well. The art was great. I did get a little stuck at one point before I realized that none of my cats were transporting anything because they were all holding fish, but once I figured that out, I was able to proceed. I'm also impressed that you were able to get it to run smoothly with tons and tons of agents running around. Great work!

Fidget's Familiaria by dreamcastgh0st 2024-05-02T03:41:32Z

I love the art and music, and I like the take on the theme! It was a little hard for me to work out the mechanics, though. I also really liked the idea that the familiars could help you with the dungeon crawling as well as with fulfilling orders

Grave Crave by lildyll 2024-05-03T05:58:06Z

I was not expecting to see a cooking game, and I liked it! It was fun once I got the hang of it. I do wish it was a little easier to tell which customers and orders already had a minion on their way to them vs. which ones I still needed to assign. The art and the music were also good! Nice work

Forge Lord by Hazard Game Dev 2024-05-03T05:29:12Z

I liked the mix of going out to gather resources and staying close to summon helpers. I think that only allowing for 3 helpers of any kind is a little punishing because often I could have the resources to build more, but I already had 3 so I just stood around, and then my 3 would get wiped out really quickly and I couldn't build the others to recover fast enough, especially when the helpers sometimes got stuck on the anvil itself. I still really enjoyed the game, though, and I like the art, especially the "handwritten" pixel font!

LD57 — Depths

Brainwash by limered 2025-04-25T03:41:04Z

I liked this game! The gameplay was simple, yet satisfying thanks to the sound effects. The art was fun, too. I would say that the game is a little long for a jam game due to the brain being so big--it does get kind of repetitive. Overall, though, great job!

blablabla deep finite ocean II by knarf 2025-04-25T01:12:05Z

I liked the art and sound! The shark moved so fast it was quite hard to control, but I imagine that was intentional. The game was frantic and endearing. Nice work!

Depth Navigator by aa4z2 2025-04-25T23:34:32Z

Great minds think alike, I guess! I really liked seeing what you did with a similar idea to mine. Showing the path you took at the end was a really nice touch, and I liked that the radius for collecting the treasure seemed relatively forgiving. I do wish there was some way to see where you'd searched before, since I did wind up very lost and confused at some point (level 3, I think). Overall, great job!

Raising The Bar by LoicLeGrosFrere 2025-04-25T01:51:31Z

I like it! The story was simple, of course, but I did like the changes in the atmosphere as it went along. I do wish there was a little less downtime between new things happening, since I almost quit the game, thinking it was done, just before retrieving the bar. I really liked the music as well. Overall, very impressive, especially if it was your first VR game!

Raising The Bar by LoicLeGrosFrere 2025-04-25T22:41:34Z

@loiclegrosfrere Sorry, I played it on a regular computer. Even then, I was able to get the VR-y vibe of it, at least, with it being first-person but you couldn't move. Sorry I can't be more helpful, but I definitely like the aesthetics, so hopefully you do try more VR projects in the future

The Dig by ditam 2025-04-25T00:28:16Z

I liked the simple story and the way that you see everything from the one fixed camera as it unfolds. I do wish there was a more obvious way to decide where you should dig--that seemed a little random to me. I loved the sound, particularly towards the end. Great work!

Into the cave by spacecadet 2025-04-24T02:24:42Z

I like the straightforward gameplay and the nice one-bit art style. I also like what I hear of the music and sound, but it sounded very muted to me; it wasn't just quiet, the high frequencies seemed to be filtered out, like I was listening to it through a wall. I was playing on web if that helps. I also would have appreciated some indication that you got hit aside from a tiny heart disappearing from the corner of the screen. It was a fun game overall. Nice job!

Find the Abyss by Stephen Kyranakis 2025-04-25T00:17:35Z

Thanks @ditam ! That's very useful feedback about the timers and depth textures.

Find the Abyss by Stephen Kyranakis 2025-04-25T00:18:31Z

@knarf I'm glad you liked it! Thanks for playing

Find the Abyss by Stephen Kyranakis 2025-04-25T00:20:36Z

@ditam @knarf The waves are unrelated to the depths, and they're meant to be animated. It was static in the web version, for some reason, and I noticed too late to fix it. I see how that can be confusing, sorry! The waves work correctly in the Windows version though, for some reason.

Cutter of Grass by JonasO 2025-04-25T01:38:32Z

This is an excellent game! I loved all the art in particular--the plasticy textures, the animations of the beetle leaning forwards and backwards, the grass cutting animation, the details revealed until the grass, the icons on the title and credits screens, all of it. I also liked the way the music slowed down when you had been going slowly for too long. I really enjoyed the part where you did have to slow down and navigate carefully, though a checkpoint or two would have been appreciated. I even liked the outside-of-the-box interpretation of the theme. Great job!

CONFESSION by pavlov36 2025-04-24T02:15:38Z

I liked the story and the little mini-games. They were simple, but it was probably a good bit of work to make them all in 48 hours. The art was also really cool, and I liked the stereo effects in the sound. Nice work!

The Shallows by Ljs132 2025-04-25T01:24:50Z

Nice job! I liked the sounds, and I liked how the splotches of color in the background acted as landmarks to assist in the memory game aspect of it all.

Welcome to Veinridge! by jinglecookie 2025-04-25T00:08:40Z

Nice work! I liked the writing and the atmosphere. I also liked the idea of exploring the depths of the mine and the depths of this town's secrets at the same time. I'm very impressed by how much you were able to get done in the allotted time, and I'd be interested to see what lies after the cliffhanger ending. One recommendation I'd give is to have a short version of the description of each character for after you've met them the first time--clicking through the exposition I'd already seen to talk to a character I had spoken to before got a little annoying. Also, I thought I was softlocked when I only had the Rusty Shaft and the Miner's Mart; it took me a while to find Winthorne Industries HQ. I think it'd be best if there are multiple conversation paths to find each location. Overall, though, great job!

Orpheus Scroll by Triliks 2025-04-25T22:49:48Z

I really liked this! The concept was interesting, and I liked your take on the theme. I really liked the expressive abstract art on the way down. I'd love to see the end of the story!

Toby's Room - Sinus' Version by DefinetlyNotSinus 2025-04-24T02:42:22Z

I thought this was really interesting! The gameplay was simple but engrossing. I liked how you were going deeper into the room and the relationship at the same time. The music and art were also both quite good. Great work!
