Great project, great post-it
@teist as it's a VR game where you don't move, I will do a non-VR version next week !
@loiclegrosfrere okay no problem, I'm waiting it for rated your game!
Where is mickey ?
@teist Hey! Finally, the vacations drained all my energy, but—here it is! The non-VR version is working! It’s not perfect (the console is really hard to read), but it's playable - even if it's more of a cinematic than a game. I hope the atmosphere still comes through, though VR is definitely unbeatable for that
@badpinkchicken Mickey will appear in another game hopefully
Interesting game! Very cleverly combined with the theme!
I like it! The story was simple, of course, but I did like the changes in the atmosphere as it went along. I do wish there was a little less downtime between new things happening, since I almost quit the game, thinking it was done, just before retrieving the bar. I really liked the music as well. Overall, very impressive, especially if it was your first VR game!
@stephen-kyranakis Haha yes, it definitely needs at least a depth counter — and maybe a few things to see or interact with down there!
By the way, did you try it in VR? If so, I’d love to know what hardware you used and whether you ran into any issues! I’m asking because it might end up being used as a template for future VR projects 👀
Cute small story. I think it can be really scary in VR. Atmosphere change is good :)
Played the non-Vr version ! Impressive work in only 3 days !!!
Finally I managed to try it! Can't belive you made that fully in VR???
I played the Windows version, so I struggled a little bit to find what to do and when, and I had to find a specific camera angle to make the console readable, but still managed to reach the end! It was very moody, I was afraid that it turn into an horror game  And the music is AMAZING! What did you use to do it in VR? Amazing entry, I really hope you enjoyed your whole LD-VR-Experience, and can't wait to try your next entry!
Great little story, and considering you made it entirely in VR, that's impressive. I tried the VR version through Meta Quest 2. Everything worked fine. Аt some points it felt like it was the end of the game, but I could see something going on in the console, so I wasn't in a hurry to get out. Great work!!!
Made me feel like a billionaire 😄
Always nice when Ludum Dare gives me an excuse to get out my VR glasses. It was actually somewhat cool when I was in the dark and turned off my lights, to sit completely in darkness. Too bad there wasn't much to see, like fish or anything, but the tunes were funny.
Really cool! Just feels a bit incomplete 😅 But the mood is great. Unless my game bugged out not a lot happened down there in the dark but I conjured up all sorts of scary expectations in my mind as I had to wait and see. I didn't have a VR headset unfortunately but I did have headphones and it felt pretty amazing to hear the stuff moving around you when the submarine broke down.
As has been said already at least something to see would've been nice but given that you were doing a VR game and in a new engine no less, it's quite amazing what you were able to achieve! Just a bit of jank where it was hard to activate some of the controls in the sub (but I imagine it's better in VR), and it wasn't really clear why I was able to keep flicking the light switches but not the radio.
Overall definitely on to something here and what was there was very atmospheric and cool!
@loiclegrosfrere Sorry, I played it on a regular computer. Even then, I was able to get the VR-y vibe of it, at least, with it being first-person but you couldn't move. Sorry I can't be more helpful, but I definitely like the aesthetics, so hopefully you do try more VR projects in the future
@teist I created the sound using Virtuoso, and I made a short video to show you how it works!
