Really cool concept, and absolutely loved the art style blending 2D in a 3D environment! Best strat: holding the snowman above you at all times haha Good job!

i really like that you did your game like this, so unusual!

osvaldo 2024-04-17 11:36

Loved this concept, it is unusual yet gives a familiar feeling of nostalgia thanks to the aesthetics. Is this a Godot game?

nubcaik 2024-04-17 18:22

@osvaldo Thanks for the feedback! Yes the game was made with Godot 4.2.1

Your game works really well! Everything goes together and makes sense. My favorite is the jump animation :)

Really fun game with unique graphics. I really enjoyed playing this game.

Fun concept, had a lot of fun with the game. I do think the summons are a bit too squishy though, I ended up just running around with a wizard on my head as everything I placed down would just die too quick, even the tanky summon.

Nice game! The concept unique, but like others mentioned, summons are too squishy. Still, it was fun, so great job!

Good game, amazing sprites

I really enjoyed the premise of having to get money during the runs to buy summons to help in future runs. I also thought the mana pool was a really interesting idea--I don't think I've ever seen a game present an opportunity cost of spending time in the shop, so that was neat. I do think the summon preview screen was a little confusing, since my summons tended to be bunched up in the shop, so it was hard to see from that thumbnail what I was summoning. Lastly, I absolutely loved the very unique-looking art style and the little sound of the character jumping. Well done!

I really liked the art style! I found the gameplay a bit clumsy with the controls, the set of inputs for pulling out the summon menu and finally summoning didn't feel smooth on the keyboard. I thought the mobile tower defense stuff was really cool overall!
