The moment I saw the cover, I had to play this one. Such a charming game. I love the aesthetic and premise of Happiness Delivery, got some kind of Wind Waker style and it compliments the wholesome nature of the game super well.
A very quaint game, I enjoyed the whole thing. Thank you for the note about planned audio in the future. It would be good to hear something while perusing the garden.
Nice entry! Game looks neat and charming!

Such a nice little wholesome game. I wish there would have been calming ambient background music. Maybe I missed it, but I don't think there were any instructions how many flowers to collect, I arbitrarily kept going until she had 10 and it turned out, it was correct, but this could have been clearly, maybe even just something simple like changing the UI to 3/10 etc. Also, for a bit more gameplay variation, she could have asked for different colors, like "Oh dear, do you see the red flower over there? These remind me of my childhood, would you be so kind and get it for me". Nevertheless, a very nice entry.

Thanks for the feedback! @likirus Yeah, I'll add SFX/Music in the future and all your suggestions make a lot of sense. Happy to work on that for an post-jam updated version!

Mood would have been perfect with some background music but I guess there is so much you can do in 48h ! Anyway, I really like your take on the theme, some heartwarmings games are always welcome !I also agree with @likirus that not knowing how many flowers to collect is a bit confusing, since it's a proto, I assumed there was no ending and I stopped at 8 flowers. (At some point I dropped a flower to take another one, and the grandma would take my flower, I think it's a bug). Also one small detail: I would suggest adding a shadow beneath grandmas chin, otherwise it looks like she has a huge chin which was a bit confusing for me at first: Capture d’écran 2023-05-12 103926.png

@tyrannas thanks for playing and all feedback are well noted! 🙂
I love the look of this, the graphics are so charming and well done. Most of the observations I had have been mentioned by other commenters, audio, etc. but it didn't detract from the experience at all. Definitely played until the end, because you gotta make Grandma happy. I enjoyed every second of this.
Good stuff :8ball:

Hidden gem! I loved the game, I miss these types of experiences a lot and I liked them. The graphics and the atmosphere or mood is spectacular and I loved picking flowers. One of the few games I've had the pleasure of playing (and without releasing dopamine, on the contrary endorphin). And I say endorphin because it's not a game that hooks you, it's a game to enjoy quietly picking flowers. I insist, the graphics are very good, the controls are simple and you get the childhood atmosphere. I would love, I insist, I would love to have background music according to the graphics. But of course, I don't know if it's because of time or technique, it's not there. But I insist, it seems to me a hidden gem. Congratulations!

@oddballdave @milq Thank you for all detailed feedback, I'm glad you both enjoyed! By the last hours of the jam I run out of time/skill/energy to make the music/sounds, so I opted to don't add any at all until the jam rating phase ends. I plan to add as a priority for the updated version. 🙂

The game felt cosy and very wholesome to play!
I liked the art, and as others have mentioned, that spring-time mood could be further developed by adding some ambient music or perhaps some soothing nature sounds like the rustle of the wind, or the buzz of insects. The colors, and the small details like the leaves blowing in the wind were very nice as well.
Cute game ! I really liked the graphics, good job
It's really simple and cute, and the mood is so good! But I'd have special narrative (like a sweet memory or something in connection to Grandma's younger days) for each flower and, maybe, set a goal to collect the bouquet of #flowers (or just the special ones) in order to complete the game.

@quoc @somnium @meta-link Thank you all for the feedback! Sounds will be added in next version!
@ardorugus Thanks for playing and that's an interesting idea, thanks for sharing!
The mouse sensitivity felt a little high to me, but I really enjoyed the graphics and the sweet concept. Nice work!
