Now that was creepy. I'd definitely advise continuing with this; there's a market for this sort of horror game (just see the massive numbers of playthroughs on youtube). The only downside I could see was I was sent back to the beginning of the trail after each flashback so had to walk the entire thing again; not sure if this was intentional.
With the implied subject matter on this game (spoilers: nothing is ever said explicitly), it might be worth putting some sort of "trigger warning" these days, although quite how you'd do that without spoiling the plot is beyond me.
Also, I'd encourage you to rate as many other games as possible and leave feedback, it will improve your "Smart Balance" and get this game the attention it deserves.
Thank you so much @amkingtrp for this feedback. I fixed the problem with the saving position. In the next post-jam update I think i'll add some kind of trigger warning.
Thanks again and have a wonderful day :D
a short but intense game. I love the atmosphere achieved, the lighting is very good. The rotation of the objects could be improved although I don't think it adds much either. The sound is very good, too bad the game is so short. good job!
@javicoder Thank you for the feedback. Have a wonderful day :D

High marks for mood for sure, that was very creepy and quite intense but too bad it was so short. That was pretty creepy and I enjoyed playing it, good job with your designs!

Well that defiantly woke me up a little  I liked the mood. It was intense, but not unpleasantly, so you made a pretty good job there. I used the first item 4 or five times in a roll. Played doesn't get feedback that must continue forward. Maybe deactivate the item after it was used.
Anyway, great entry, good job!
@jpgfg Thank you. I had planned to do more for this game, but I didn't have the time.
Thanks again and have a fantastic day/night :D
@sli Thank you for the idea, I'll make sure to remove the item after it was picked up. I hope you can sleep well after this, have a wonderful night :D
The atmosphere and mood in this one is really well done, with the use of simple ambience and some reversed noises making it very eerie. The forest assets were also really nicely done. I did notice that in some of your screenshots the fog goes in the distance and into a grey skybox. On my computer, the background and sky was completely black. I also did see that the GIF you have on itch.io does the same thing, so I was curious if this was a asethetic choice where it got missed in the screenshots. Interesting game, overall.
@proxy-games In the jam version of the game, I had used unity's skybox system, but in the most recent update 1.01, I changed it to a skydome(meaning I have made a cube with the normals flipped and incubated the map into it). The fog system in Unity only affects objects, but not unity's skybox, so if I have a custom skybox(skydome), the fog would affect it too.
Thank you for playing my game, and have a wonderful day :D
Interesting atmosphere in this game. Very good lighting and fog. I agree it was a bit confusing with items remaining after having looped through its sequence. At least on the jam-version, the certificate was rotated 90 degrees when interacting with it. I'd also would have liked some sort scene there when picking it up. But we all know about how hard it is to fit all the ideas into the 72 hours!
Good game!

I love the atmosphere that you've come up with in this, it was more of an experience than a game but I enjoyed it a lot and could see this being a very terrifying game. I would have liked to see a bit more variation in the room you get sent to, and I wasn't exactly sure if I should hide in the closet or not. Great work though, absolutely love the aesthetic of this game!
Atmospheric scenes, I would've liked to spent more time in the forest! The story is well told simply thru the items and enough is left for the player to deduce. Being in the room was confusing, I went to closet and didn't know if that was the right thing to do. Maybe adding a simple quit game button in the end would make the experience smoother, so the player doesn't need to alt-f4 out. I played the jam build.
@local-minimum Thank you for the feedback. I'll fix the certificate rotation when you interact with it in the next update. I'll also try to add some kind of animation when the item is picked up.
@idenoh Thank you! I had in mind making 3 individual "levels" for each item, but I didn't have the time to. I'll try to make the interaction with the closet be more defined for the story.
@tatu-heinamaki Thank you for the idea, I’ll make sure to add a quit button in the end.
Thanks again to all! :D
Killer atmosphere and mood, it all looked and sounded really good. Definitely see where you could add more to each of the item "levels" but for a jam this is solid!

Interesting experience. Quite unique interpretation of the theme the instability of the mind. Very good atmosphere.

Aww I was actually disappointed that it didn't continue. I wanted to find out more!
@tsunscreen, @vizitas, @jk5000, @manio Thank you for the feedback. Have a wonderful day :D
This was pretty short but even in that time you managed to make this pretty creepy. Top marks for mood for sure. I liked the almost negative photo look of the game and thought it went well with the vibe. Really wanted to see what the story was about so well done on creating some intrigue. Well done!

As others have written, it has the potential for a good horror game about mental disorder. Great base for further work, keep developing! I like the mood and reverse voice audio, you can add some walk steps sounds also in the next post-jam version. Hope you will continue work on it!

The game is very atmospheric, thought walking is too fast for a horror
@denzil-gomes, @soulo Thanks for the feedback.
@rufson Thanks for the idea. I'll add some walking steps sound.
Have a fantastic day :D
My reading of this game is that it works well as a sort of metaphor for PTSD, or something along those lines. I see the items in the forest as being non-literal; they are instead shapes in the forest that remind the player character of their trauma. In this reading of the game, I think it works pretty well, really. The non-literal becoming literal seems to me quite like trauma or grief (e.g. from my own experience--when you seem to see a pet who has recently passed away in the corner of your eye).
Now I have no idea if that's the intent. Maybe the intent is the teddy bear is literally on a chair in the forest. But it is my reading, and hopefully this perspective is helpful in some way at least.

The game misses some text on wine, so after picking the certificate it just blacks out. I always love to see an experimental spooky walking sim and this one is no exception. I especially love how the forest looks.
