LD47 — Stuck in a loop

Orbit by nopogo 2020-10-06T16:23:14Z

It's laggy for me most likely because of my laptop (I tend to always have this issue with big games or HD/HQ games). Anyhow, first-person games aren't really my thing, but this was pretty trippy. Definitely felt like being in a loop. The music was calming and it fit the atmosphere. The graphics are nice too, despite my laptop not being able to handle them. The controls were a bit confusing for me. I couldn't really do much since my laptop couldn't handle your game as well. Nice job overall :)

Endless Ocean Cleanup by Bloham 2020-10-08T18:11:59Z

The boat we control is really slow even from the start for me and I sort of felt like I was gonna get nowhere. However it also started to move a little bit faster before I even started gathering the recycles, so the game also felt glitchy with the movements. But other than that, I like the concept of the game. I agree that is also raises some awareness to keep our oceans clean :) Nice job.

The little walk by Tori 2020-10-09T01:56:21Z

I almost thought I was gonna be exploring in an endless loop of pretty scenarios, but I finished! I think it would have been nice if there was a little story to go along as we explore. I didn't really feel any "stuck in a loop" theme going on unless the "stuck in the loop" was listening to the birds. Beautiful art and scenarios. Nice side-scrolling gameplay too, but like I said before, I think it would have been nice if there was a little story to go along as we explore. Nice job :)

Stuck In Space (Twitch IRC Chat Game) by DanielLeeMeeks 2020-10-08T19:38:28Z

I don't think I've ever seen a game like this before where we literally play it on twitch. I'm not sure if I was feeling the stuck in the loop game, but overall interesting concept. Nice job :)

ShroomRoom by Likirus 2020-10-08T22:50:10Z

This was a fun and sort of relaxing game. I really enjoyed the art and music.

MarblesLoop by Talia 2020-10-08T16:52:17Z

Wasn't sure how to get through this level Screenshot 2020-10-08 095006.png But other than that, I loved the aesthetics and the colors. The art is beautiful and the sound effects and music were also nice.

PARAD🕑X SECURITY by grizeldi 2020-10-06T18:11:30Z

These kinds of games aren't really my kind of game, but despite that I liked the paradox concept. The game felt a little bit slow though. I'm not sure if it's just me or it's how the game is. I can't really be the judge of that. This game was also actually a bit fun and I liked how we could see a paradox of us doing what we did in the past. Nice job :)

HomePick, A Pet Text Adventure by Instafluff 2020-10-08T20:50:35Z

An endless loop of customers wanting to adopt pets. Nice! I do wish if we click somewhere then the texts could go a little bit faster. Anyway though, this game also actually made me feel emotional, maybe because I'm a huge animal lover and I wish for all animals to be safe and doing well and hope they find good owners. I really like that you guys were also spreading awareness for doggies needing good owners and good homes. I have a lot to say about animals, but overall this was a really nice and cute game. I like how it's meant to make people connect to animals that need homes too. Good job :)

Need More Space by wheatleyscience 2020-10-06T16:43:28Z

Fun game and pretty loopy. I liked having to explore around the planet for our needs. The third level was a little challenging, but overall it was really fun and a cute little game. Nice job!

Torus The Dolphin by walaber 2020-10-06T06:13:16Z

The game definitely fits the theme and definitely feels like we're just going in a loop (after all we are stuck in a loop). The controllers for me however were a bit confusing, though I started t get the hang of it but the controllers also felt a little wonky to me still. Other than that though, I really liked the graphics and the song fits too :) Nice job!

Inside Divine Comedy by Yulia_li 2020-10-08T17:36:46Z

I started to lag a bit in circle 5 and circle 6, most likely due to my laptop. I'm not sure how many levels there are, but I played up to circle 7 which started to get a bit more challenging and I couldn't get past it lol. The atmosphere is creepy in a good way. The music fits it pretty well. It sent maybe a few chills up my spine, but that's a good thing too as I see that's what the meant is meant to do along with being stuck in a loop :) Nice job<3

Alter-Nate by Codeman1010 2020-10-10T04:12:28Z

The game feels a bit wonky probably because of the known bugs you and your team stated. Despite the bugs being an issue though, I really like how the camera follows us. It's a really great feature. The speeding text via left-clicking is a bonus too. The reincarnations add a little bit of humor too. The last reincarnation got me LOL. I like the gameplay. Nice job :)

The Lone Starmen by cyberfrank 2020-10-08T08:17:47Z

I think I can kind of see the "Stuck in a loop" theme going on with your game, but at the same time I also wish I knew what the end goal of the same was. Also beautiful art and music btw! I could really feel the mood of the game.

Loopsky by Matootsy 2020-10-08T18:41:44Z

I though it would be a simple game, but I guess it was actually a bit challenging, and it took a while for me to get the hang of the game. I kind of liked the challenge though because for me it's a little unusual to play a tracing game that isn't very easy. Even though you reused your own audios from your other games, I think the music was still fitting, and the game is kind of relaxing, despite the challenge :) I liked to watch the stars move around in a loop. Good job :)

Fleder Flopin by Diefleder 2020-10-06T06:27:54Z

The game is laggy for me but maybe it's because of my laptop. Other than that though from what I played, I really enjoyed the aspects of the game. It's pretty impressive for a compo game. I like how the audio fit the world of tech and the little green guy. Having to go through some struggles of ramming into a wall definitely felt like I was never going to finish the race either. Well done :)

Cotton Candy Dream by LelulaGames 2020-10-08T08:29:11Z

Cute game and the colors are beautiful! It was fun to roll around and gather crystals. I'm thinking if we gathered the crystals then we would speed up a little more, because that's what I was feeling or maybe I'm wrong. I'm not sure if was suppose to be some kind of end goal, but even so, good job! :)

Time in disorder by AthulMDev 2020-10-06T17:14:32Z

Nice game for a starter. There are some bugs and glitches where we can get squished by platforms and we can't get out until we run out of time to our current checkpoint. I feel the game might be a little imbalanced since I couldn't really get through the third level or maybe it's just me not being a good gamer lol. I had a bit of fun playing this. Good job! Keep up the good work :)

I've Been Busy Being Dead by instrex 2020-10-09T02:47:36Z

Awesome gameplay! Cute and kind of messed up at the same time since we need to haunt things even though the ghost looks like it doesn't want to but we need to anyways lol. I like the spooky concept, especially since it's October now. I really love the art, and the music was good too.

The Legend of the Stormer by josephdevelops 2020-10-06T07:21:35Z

Fun and good game for a starter! I wish the combat system wasn't as delayed however. It felt a bit slow. I think it would have been nice if there was an HP system too, but given the time period the game is pretty successful. I loved the Dragonball and Naruto references. It's what made the game a little hilarious to me. I also actually liked the MSPaint art too and it's not so bad either for a game we would need to make within a couple of days.

Eat, Sleep, Repeat by Syafire 2020-10-06T10:03:18Z

Although the game is laggy for me (it might be because of my laptop) and I'm not sure if there's some bugs or glitches due to my lag, and I'm wondering if the game is complete or not, your game is definitely a big mood for me. The art style is also cute. I don't mind that there is no music for this game because of the atmosphere and the audio suits the theme and atmosphere very well. It definitely feels like an endless loop when we fail a simple task. Nice job <3

Who Knows by Whom 2020-10-09T20:17:39Z

Was kind of addicting. The gravity frustrated me a little, but it also makes sense with how the game goes. I had fun :)
