I enjoyed the game! Interesting puzzle mechanic, but I felt some of the timers a bit long for actions, I'd probably prefer more complex puzzles with shorter action times.

Art and sound were lovely though too! And an interesting take on the looping idea. Great job!

I enjoyed the game, however, the loading bar in the exit is hard to see as it is bright yellow on white. I must say that I like the game and really enjoyed the concept, however, pathfinding has its problems (I had the player running into a wall when I tried to get to one of the doors. Overall, very positive experience of a game well made!

Despite being quite simple, that is a fun and polished game, well done! It has certain vibe to it and completing level feels pleasant. I can imagine it being a pretty cool puzzle game with more levels and mechanics, maybe some plot? Thanks for making this.

melvinng 2020-10-06 12:07

Simplistic game, with nice graphics and good gameplay! I had a positive experience playing the game. Perhaps an improvement would be to add more levels and improve the plot of the game. Still, good job!

This one is pretty good, I really like it. With more levels would be great! *There is a small bug, when I got into the last orange block, after the end of the loop, it kept counting and disappeared before I touched again, and I need to wait before continue, even with nothing in front of the character. Congrats!!

I dig the concept. The constant "ticking" of the time put me in a little stress but I finished it. Sadly there is only one level and only one way to solve it. Personally I prefer not being stressed during puzzles but it was easy enough here. I believe it could be fun if the time only advances when the character performs an action, Superhot style. I enjoy more the strategizing than the hectic aspect.

witekwitek 2020-10-06 12:14

I like it! This is pretty good, Everything is fine and i don't see anything wrong!

Beautiful art, I like movements, and the grid snapping. Nice use of the restarting mechanics, our first prototype had similar restarting mechanics on timer, but we changed it and made the restarting on command with ghost mechanics. Your implementation is far more polished of what we could achieved if we continued this path.

Wish if you have more levels though.

croxel-studios 2020-10-06 12:19

Nice game concept. Love the simple neon visuals. I wish it was more challenging and had more levels though :(

elemel 2020-10-06 12:33

I think you have the foundation of a good game here. Liked the smooth movement, and the path finding was mostly fine. Downside is that there's no real challenge or choices involved. Death timer didn't add to the game. Would have been cool with some enemies, and being able to pause and resume work by stepping away and back.

kvinster 2020-10-06 12:53

Fun little game, I liked it alot! Wish there were fewer time and once started locks wouldn't require being near them to unlock, I feel like that would add a neat time management aspect to the game. Nevertheless it's fun as is, wish there were more levels to it :)

colinbellino 2020-10-06 13:13

@valkija We definitely planned to have more complexe puzzles but ran out of time as usual, haha. Thanks for the feedback!

@notinatal Ah yeah, the yellow on white isn't visible enough, thanks for pointing that out.

@abvadabra Thank you! <3

@melvinng That's a good point, we didn't spend any time thinking about the story since we changed the theme midway through the jam. Thanks for playing our game.

colinbellino 2020-10-06 13:25

@prodigysp Oh no, sorry about that! Thanks for reporting the bug 🐛.

@adiwan That's fair, i think the timer on a puzzle game is not something i would keep in a final game :) Now i'm mad that i didn't think of advancing the timer only when moving / doing an action, that would have been nice :o

@witekwitek Thank you <3

@div00 Thanks for the feedback. I'll definitely be checking out your implementation then ;)

@croxel-studios Thanks! i only wished i had more time to make the art more polished, this is basically the first pass and didn't get to make it "shinier".

colinbellino 2020-10-06 13:30

@elemel Ah, branching paths and more actions were planned but had to be cut to ship in time, you know how it is :D I think you are right though, the timer isn't adding anything to the game in this state. Thanks for taking the time to play our game and give us feedbacks!

zashers 2020-10-06 13:57

A very robust little game, developed with more puzzles and items could make for a very good game. Good job!

anomay 2020-10-06 14:03

Simple but potential, wish more level can be updated:)

And bgm is good

tamail 2020-10-06 14:48

Really nice little game! I liked the different types of interactions, I'd love to see a bigger version with more mechanics!

colinbellino 2020-10-07 12:45

@kvinster Thanks for your feedback! The "timer" processed don't require you to stay near them, but we added them last minute and that's not explained in the game :(

@zashers @anomay @tamail Thank you very much <3
