nice game :) its a unique idea, it felt a bit easy to dodge the turrets though. I think having a dedicated 3d artist would make it stand out more. Great job!

takayamushi 2019-04-30 20:02

This was interesting! Traps should have been harder to dodge but other than that nice job!

lagman9000 2019-04-30 20:03

Cool game, some well thought out puzzle elements! Backtracking makes the experience a bit slow in places but overall quite enjoyable

hugolnx 2019-04-30 20:50

Interesting puzzle game! The traps are very easy to avoid and it's a bit confusing to activate something in one room that will have effects on another room, maybe if you show a preview of the effect it would be less confusing. ;)

really cool game with well ballanced puzzles. for me they are not too hard and not too easy. i like how you interpreted the life is currency theme within your game. good job! :)

prodigalson 2019-05-01 14:01

Thanks for playing the game everyone and for you feedback

- @fidrik It sure would be nice to have one next time. Thanks for playing - @takayamushi I guess I got carried away with being too hard :) - @lagman9000 Thank you for making us aware of the slow pace. We will work on that - @hugolnx That sounds like a cool idea. Thanks for bringing it up - @rosabonbon Glad you found it balanced. Thanks for playing

Cool concept, seems like you put thought into the puzzles. I would add a popup to tell you when you are standing next to a pedestal that you can place a crystal there. Took me a bit to figure out that was a thing. Fun game!

prodigalson 2019-05-03 01:48

@trusty that's a great idea. Thanks for playing and the feedback

charu 2019-05-03 13:26

It is a pretty good idea and I liked the visuals and sound. Sometimes the instructions seemed a bit unclear/ambigious. Other than that, good job! :D

prodigalson 2019-05-03 13:44

@charu Thank you for playing. Not sure which instructions where unclear/ambiguous but I'll review them to further clarify. Thanks

charu 2019-05-03 14:06

@prodigalson Sorry by bad, not instructions but what I was supposed to do with the crystal etc, nothing major.

black-flag 2019-05-03 14:55

I really like the camera transitions between stages of a level and overall I think the concept of "having less life makes it easier to get through levels" is a really cool concept! This a really good jam entry!

tamail 2019-05-03 15:28

I like this idea of a puzzle game, really nice! My life bar/hearts got a little bit bugged though :D I like the idea of sacrificing your life to get easier map and the menu used for it was really nice visually! Good job!

pablotitan 2019-05-03 19:55

Alittle difficult, but when got used to it's fun! :D Nice idea and puzzles!

prodigalson 2019-05-04 13:59

- @black-flag thank you and thanks for playing - @tamail Thanks! Yup, this is a funny bug that we just could not figure out in time so we embraced it. lol :) - @pablotitan Thank you for playing :D

julienlussiez 2019-05-04 14:06

Interesting appropriation of the theme and interesting level design. I think it could be better to have an indication when you can place an orb when it's possible, some feedback.

prodigalson 2019-05-04 16:14

@julienlussiez thanks for playing and the feedback. That's pm the list for sure :)

dorblin7z7 2019-05-05 04:39

Really liked that you can opt for an 'easier' difficulty but you get fewer chances to make mistakes. Also kudos for the honesty regarding asset usage - still is a fun puzzler!

cakemonitor 2019-05-05 08:26

More often than not I couldn't move at all when a level started - this happened 80% of the time for level 1 and 100% of the time for level 2 - I restarted over and over, and even reloaded the game a few times (playing the web version on itch.io) but I was not able to experience level 2 at all - other than seeing the initial room layout. I've not left ratings because it wouldn't be fair to judge based on that experience.

prodigalson 2019-05-05 13:15

@dorblin7z7 Thank you for playing. It was interesting how the design ended there because we first started with the concept of simply buying keys using your life as currency and then realize it lends itself great as a difficulty lever that the player can control if we place enough places for the keys to be used.

@cakemonitor I'm sorry you experienced that behavior. You are not the first one to bring this to our attention and I've only been able to duplicated it once. It seems that the flag to enable movement after the screen transition is done is not always turning ON. What others have done in the past is change the quantity of keys they use for that level and somehow that allows them to move. For example, usually starting with only 1 seems to allow the character to move when the behavior you saw happens. Thanks for trying.

magnanix 2019-05-05 13:37

I liked it, I got confused @ the start, having to pick the orb back up - but otherwise, a nicely put together small game :).

prodigalson 2019-05-05 14:05

@magnanix Thanks for playing. I understand, we did not get a chance to put that directly on the game but we added it to the "how to play" section to avoid that confusion. Thank you for feedback.

philstrahl 2019-05-25 19:27

Very nice and interesting game! I managed to get further than anticipated https://youtu.be/NxsO8deuXdo

prodigalson 2019-06-04 13:47

@philstrahl Thank you for playing our game and being so detailed in your play through, posting the video, and for the nice comments. Really enjoy your dedication and care.
