Very small and simple with not much to it, but it does what it does and it does it well. User interface is good, the game plays well and it feels polished.
The core game is just not very exciting.
I also don't see the theme there.

That was fun. I wonder how far you can get with this gameplay ( coin stock management, multiple articles etc )

@boltkey Yes, its not really fun, but it trains your mental calculation ;) And the theme is: You are a cashier whos life is working with currency.
@benjamin Thank you! Sure, you could do a lot more. But unfortunately I had very limited time.
This game is not really sophisticated.. It is very simple, it has not really good graphics. Although it is a math game, that you as you said didnt even expect to be fun, but I quite enjoyed it! Also thanks for maths excercise! :)
Would love if you modified this into a cute shop sim like reccetear :)
This mechanic would give a ton of extra depth and wholesomeness :)

Figuring out what the cents are took a while (I may be just slow :D) but otherwise nice concept!

Finally, a game that simulates the hell of retail work! It's not very exciting, especially on the lower difficulties, but it's a simple concept that's well-executed, and VERY well-done for just four hours' work. My main suggestion would be some kind of feedback when you try and submit an incorrect amount, instead of just clicking "CONFIRM" and nothing happening.
Also, just as a heads-up, you need to play and rate other people's games in order for your game to count for the Compo. It's not enough to just get people to rate your own. You need to have given out 20 ratings by the end of the voting period and you haven't given out any yet, so I'd start playing if I were you.
Oh no I didn't come here to do math!
This is super simple but it's pretty solid. Feels like it would work well as an educational game for kids.
However, it's worth pointing out that there's a bit of a cultural disconnect here for anyone not used to Euros. I'm from the US and had to look up the denominations on Wikipedia to figure out whether the red or the blue circles were for cents. Some clearer labeling could have fixed that.
Pretty solid game functionally, everything ran smoothly and I give you props for including a difficulty mode. I didn't have much fun, but that's because I don't generally like to do math for fun so I'm probably not the target audience. Admittedly I had to grab a calculator out because I wasn't doing well at all lol. The graphics were pretty bare and I had trouble figuring out how to use the currency at first, because I'm American, nut I managed to figure it out. I agree with Evan that labeling could've solved this issue. I don't believe it fit the theme well, I understand what you were trying to go for with the cashier, and could've been integrated better. A simple change that could've made the game fit the theme better is if you said "when the timer strikes 0 you die" I do feel 60 seconds was not enough time for probably easy mode, however I did like how you seperated the difficulty with more difficult math problems. Overall this is a very well put together game, but very simple at the same time. Keep up the good work!
